Great step by step instructional video. Now, we are convinced that we need to hire a Pro for the installation, securing the TV safely...

Safety challenge. You’re concerned about hearing protection for less than 30 seconds of noise at possibly 100 db but you didn’t think about eye protection. Otherwise nice walk through of the installation.

Thanks for your support. I usually do a pretty good job wearing and recommending both ear and eye protection, but I fell short on this video. Good catch. I'll do better.

This wall mount does not seem safe like older models, if you look the whole tv is being held by the back plate and two tiny screws, I wonder why they switch to this style of mount. I had no choice but to buy this bc almost all mounts are like this now.

Hi. Mine seems to click in and very difficult to pull it out to swivel tv . It takes 2 people and very scary as we pull it so hard to release it I always think I might break tv. Am I doing something wrong?

hmm, it sounds like the TV may be too heavy for your mount. Be careful please!

Are you worried about the tv pulling off the wall since it’s not mounted in the middle of the wall mount?

Great question, Daniel. I'm not worried about it because the mount is designed to work like this. There are four sturdy lag screws that will hold the TV up, even when the TV isn't positioned in the middle of all four bolts. This is one reason this Sanus TV mount is so good-you can mount it on the studs and you're not limited to placing the TV directly between the studs. Speaking of studs, you're a stud for your support. Cheers!

Why didn’t you show the full swivel? You showed insulation but didn’t show how it functions which is more important
