- Comparing the MPX VS B&T APC9 PRO I definitely prefer and recommend the APC9 PRO. The BT is more accurate with a shorter barrel. MPX is definitely gassier and dirtier. Trigger is so much better on the BT .
I keep on leaning toward the B&T as well. This gun is proven all over the world for a long time. I think I’m going to go in this direction. I have a holosun 510 to top it with as well love that optic.
Yes. I have had all 3 generation MPX versions. They really don't wear too well. Parts look worn at low round counts. B&T I put at least 5K rounds through it and after cleaning it looked new inside with no wear. Like day and night. Fit and finish is quality. Sig quality control is spotty. I have had a few sig guns with issues. I'm not impressed. Good luck with BT. Thanks for watching
I see you got that paint can opener for stuck cases. Good little tool to have around. I dremeled the tip so it would have more contact with the brass case. It looks like an extractor claw now.
Anyways.. I found you when you were comparing the LMT / LWRC video. Good stuff. I have the LWRC but your LMT did look like it shot smoother. Which made me jealous. Haha.
Gotta get the B&T
Yes. Gotta get it. lol. Consider subscribing. More to come. Thanks for watching
Currently have Mpx k Gen 3.. like the gun but don’t love it. I’ve also had a few FTEs on the Sig with each range day. I agree it gets dirty really quick. Can you explain the recoil differences between the MPX and the Pro? Thinking of trading in for the pro with glock lower. What model brace do you have on the B&T?
Also want to suppress in near future.
I had all 3 versions of the 8 inch MPX. The gun is ok but not perfect. Wears lousy. Parts look beat up bad after each cleaning. I have had some issues. Screws walking out. The Gen 1 piston head flew off. They corrected that in Gen 2. The recoil on the B&T is really nice. They hydraulic buffer system works really well. I was going to get the Glock version but I recommend getting factory B&T version. The Glock mags go in on an angle due to the feed lip. The B&T STICK mags go straight in like a machine gun sub gun should in my opinion. Also you will get a faster reload when loading the gun on straight mag without the angle. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching. The pistol brace is a Dan Haga creation. HAGADEFENSE
@@K-MAN-ik2pz appreciate ya! Thanks for the info. I’ll likely make the trade up. I thought I was being overly critical of the gun but sounds like you’ve had similar complaints. For the money I had hoped for more from Sig.
Thanks for input on the mags. You’re right about the angle of the factory vs glock. I prefer the B&T look though it’s tempting to compromise with Glock mags in use at home.
I was Uber interested in the recoil of the B&T as this is the gun my wife will train/shoot with and I sold her on the soft Mpx recoil. We both shoot the gun but she’s gets first dibs and has “say” in how it’s equipped:)
@@kevineth100 she will love the B&T.
What is the stock/brace set up do you have on the B&T? Do you have any close up shots or videos of the configuration?
When pistol braces where legal that was a HAGA DEFENSE pistol brace. They are no longer legal and you would have to SBR the gun. Thanks for watching
Thank you
Can you explain how its possible for a short stroke piston gun to give you more gas blowback than a direct blowback ? Im very confused about people saying the mpx is gassy.
All I can say is I definitely got more gas and powder on the face with the MPX which is a piston design. I can’t explain why but I shot both guns extensively and I can assure you side by side you get gas in face with MPX way more than B&T. Thanks for watching
I been thinking about getting the B&T and selling my MPX. Does the B&T come with an adjustable gas block? Cause the MPX is gassy AFFFFFF
B&T is less gassy than MPX. The strange thing is it's a blowback design and mpx is piston. You would think the opposite to be true. I had someone arguing with me that that's not the case. Well I have a lot of trigger time with both. BT is superior. Parts wear is non existent and is a high quality gun. MPX parts look like they have -100K ROUNDS THANKS FOR WATCHING
What trigger are you running on the mpx? Gen 3?
Stock trigger Yes GEN 3
How’s the gas blowback with the apc9?
Better than the MPX piston gun. Not bad at all. Thanks for watching
Out of these 2 including the banshee… what has the softest recoil?
BT PRO has softer recoil. Also wears better. Thanks for watching.
