- In this video, I’ll be running through what it’s like traveling in KLM’s Premium Comfort Class on an overnight flight from Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam. This cabin class lies in between KLM business class and KLM economy class, and is akin to something like premium economy. It’s worth noting that Premium Comfort Class is not yet available on all KLM flights; but by the end of 2024, all KLM Boeing 777 and 787 planes (doing intercontinental flights) should have this.

Hello everyone! 😀 Have you tried KLM's Premium Comfort Class - how did you find the experience?
Very nice video. Will be flying KLM Premium Economy class in July. Chicago to Amsterdam.
Thanks so much for saying! I really appreciate the feedback and safe travels in July :)
I just wanted to see a video of what KLM premium economy is so I watched your video. Thank you. It looks like you have y bunch of videos I'm interested in. New subscriber❤❤
Hi Dianna, thank you so much for your feedback. Makes me v happy to see comments like this :)
Nice video, interesting information, thanks!👍
Thank you Jack, always appreciate your positive feedback!
5:50 Having flown long-haul business class on a couple Asian airlines, the bathrooms aren't posh and not noticeably larger. The only benefit is that there are fewer people using them, and there may be some nicer lotions or toiletries.
Thanks for sharing this information. That's v interesting to know what the business class toilets are like!
This was excellent - a really good video. Thanks
Thank you, I appreciate you saying this!
I choose the light premium economy! Thank you for the information!
That's great!
what a SWEET voice! Very informative. Thank U 🌹🙏
So nice of you to say, thank you.
Good video !!! keep it up !!!
Thanks so much. Will do! :)
I love KLM's Premium Economy and wished the regular upgrade price is EUR 145. The extra space is worth it to me by itself, and I do like the smaller cabin, service and slightly better food. If you do not have Elite Plus status than the Skyteam priority would potentially save you quite some time in Amsterdam with the quicker check-in and security. Finally I expect that Premium economy may increase your chances on a good upgrade deal to business...
Thank you for sharing your comment here. That's an interesting point about it potentially increasing your chances on a good upgrade deal too.
Finally a comprehensive review on KLM Premium comfort, nice! Cant wait to try for myself in a few months, I'm totally on the same page about the seat in front reclining into your space, so I'm taking the bulkhead. Sky Priority seems like a great perk, especially flying from crowded Schiphol. A little correction/addition: the config can be 2-3-2 or 2-4-2 depending on the aircraft (B787 or B777).
Thanks so much for your comment and also the addition on the economy configuration.
I enjoyed your video and you have a lovely manner of speaking. I am flying back to ATL on KLM Premium comfort and your video was very reassuring.
Hi Judy, thank you for your kind words here. I'm v glad you enjoyed this video :)
always find on the plane KLM staff are brilliant, although my last flight with them was the exception to the rule, the service centre on the phone I have found to be terrible (UK). have flights booked to PERU at the end of October in premium comfort, at 6ft 2 I need the extra space especially on a 13hr flight. good video, get an idea what to expect, wouldn't mind an upgrade to business class though :)
I'm glad this video was able to give you an idea of what Premium Comfort will be like. Hope you have a good trip to Peru!
very informative . tk
So nice of you to say! Thank you
Felt the exact same way. Actually got a few hours of sleep, my foot rest was stuck and I did not figure out how to make it go all the way down! I didnt see any menu card though, and i read somewhere that they have espresso martini but seen nothing like that… despite extra space in seat and for feet, still felt kind of narrow and tight, if the people in front of you have their seat all the way back it is quite annoying to get out of your seat.
Also, my upgrade was 185 instead of 145 EUR
That’s interesting to hear your experience, and also about the foot rest and price too. Thank you for sharing! :)
145 EUR price for an upgrade is actually quite good!.
Usually Premium Comfort are 2-2,5x the price of economy.
Thank you for your feedback here! That's v interesting to know, and I'm happy to have got a good price on it!
Agree - at 145 EUR extra for something like this, I wouldn't hesitate for a second. I currently have a quote of 151 EUR for an upgrade from Economy to Economy Comfort for a similar-length flight, and the step up to Premium Comfort seems considerably larger.
@@gluffoful Yea, Premium Economy is a much more defined product. with better service. so 145 EUR is a steal for a long flight.
However, on a very long economy comfort flight the extra leg room definitely helps. Especially if the seat next to you happens to be empty. I had the best 14hr flight of my life with Economy Comfort and an empty seat next to me.
All KLM 787 have Premium Comfort the 777-300ER are almost completely refrubished for Premium Comfort leaving 15 777-200ER for modification . KLM is like other airlines and subject to equipment changes therefore until all their fleet are modified and you might still find you are downgraded despite purchasing a premium comfort seat . Thank you for your excellent review.
Thank you for sharing this info here :)
No you will never be downgraded by an airline, they have to upgrade you if they can’t provide what you payed for not downgrade you, this is false information
very well
thank you
I found on s recent long flight i found myself sliding out the seat when reclined.
Fully reclined seats in front come right back into your personal space and it's almost impossible to get out your seat.
Sorry to hear it was hard for you to get out of your seat
Last time I flew with KLM was 1998, never again!
Ok!
Over 25 years ago. Why are you interested in the video then? 😊
