- We're expecting plenty of new arrivals at The Shmuseum as @Shmee150's collection is forever growing, so it's time to rearrange and prepare the garage for them all.
Whilst away, Tim briefly mentioned that he'd quite like the original 1.2 Renault Clio to join the rest of the cars in 'Barn 1' and for us to setup the garage using his floor plan ready for the newest additions. So yes, that means today we're playing musical cars and shuffling them onto lifts and into their new parking spaces.
We've also got a new cordless tyre inflator to test from Makita which will come in super handy for the Focus RS and Clio, both of which need their tyre pressures to be checked. You can check out a whole range of tools from Foulgers Tool Store who very kindly set this up: www.foulgerstoolstore.co.uk

the reason i watch this channel is for the day to day videos of life at the Shmuseum. moving the cars, the building work, the new toys and basically the journey from barn to car museum is what i love watching. Looking forward to seeing the offices finished and then the work in barn 2 fully started.
I agree, it's the process of transforming the place and bringing the cars in.
I think the SLS deserves a spot alongside the Senna and GT.
I always used to find it quite funny when i'd see Tim supervising the moving of cars and he'd be there making sure to get everything lined up perfectly but now i'm finding myself understanding it because looking at all the cars as they ended up on the lift and how the fronts are all over the place (obviously due to the cars being different sizes and their rear wheels all having to "lock into" the lifts, no fault of the guys) and it looks so much better when they're all lined up perfectly.
I have a couple of hundred channels I subscribe to, The Shmuseum is one of a few I watch immediately after a drop.

He should cancel his order for it. Been waiting for over 5 years now. Should just buy a TVR Sagaris or Tuscan. They are really cool.

the Abarth 124 looks really good on the lift (with the colour scheme)
The Makita air tool that I have comes fitted with a lever lock for the tire valve....quick on and off instead of the screw on type.
Possibly a Euro version difference.
Other than that pretty much identical.
My guess there's a Lotus lerking under that car cover.(Mystery Mobile)

Nice vid as usual guys. I have always wondered why don't the cars like the Ford GT, Senna live on tyre cushions? I remember Tim always making sure they were on cushions prior to moving to the Shmuseum. Cheers!
Think its been mentioned, maybe when they were putting the xj220 on tyre cushions, with more of a team there now theres a bit more of a rota to where the cars are took out and not any one car gets left stood for too long

Doesn’t the lift need to be at setting 4 for the SLS doors to open fully when it is underneath?

Why don't you have any cable hooks for the charging cables instead of just dropping them on the floor, reducing the risk of someone stepping on them and causing a tripping fault??
You should have a special made key storage rack so you don't get confused by all the keys looking the same.

At this point, has that Lotus spent more time with Tim/in the Shmuseum than it has with it's owner? I'm sure Tim picked it up when it had just been painted or at least from a garage and took it to the shmuseum to do the run in miles, then it went away for, what felt like, a day for the owner to use and then it was back in the shmuseum again and appears to have been there ever since.
Owner might not have enough space in his own private collection or he's too busy to drive it
