    Oil level is another one I check before rolling out, too.

    Nice bike (had a late 90´s 600) and wonderful tires.
    Always good to remind of the essential things.
    Most of us know of these checks. We just don´t do it due to the lack of discipline. I just look for petrol in the tank, oil on the chain, and air in the tyres.

    I got a 2022 street triple r. I was wondering if it Normal I having add a little oil every thousand or so miles. It looks like the oil gets a little below the line every thousand miles or so . I got almost 3k miles on the bike , had to add a little oil twice (very little )

      Uhhm it might be burning oil, not sure it’s that’s typical for that bike or not. Glad you’re keeping a close eye on it tho! 👍🏻😁

    My bike has a h.i.d low beam that's doesn't want to come quite frequently but I'm not sure if it's in the switch or where the problem might be. Usually after several minutes of the bike idling and me switching back & forth from low beam to high beam it will come on.
    Problem is I can't trust it won't give me problems while riding, then only have high beams only. Which would get me pulled over and I don't need that.

    Is it true that you shouldn't' have warm tires before inflate them? Today mine were low, so I went to the gas station where there is the compressed air thing, and my bf told me I should not drive more thank 2 km before inflate them. Is it a good rule?

    • @surferdude642
      @surferdude642 Před rokem +1

      Correct tire pressure should be measured away from any heat or sunlight for at least 2 hours. In cold weather it could be less. Riding only 2 km to get to an air compressor should be fine.

      I believe the answer to your question is that tires read a higher pressure hot, then cold. The factory does not specify at which temperature to set the pressures. I believe you should inflate the tires to the correct tire pressure cold. Also, keep in mind the gas station tires pressure gauges are usually very inaccurate!
