@GBiggiel & ProjectorTurtle To upload your app, you need to create a developer account and pay the fee then publish your app. To prevent landscape, go to the beginning of your project(the page that you start on when you start the project), scroll down to where it says device orientation and uncheck landscape left and landscape right. There you go! It's that simple

I’m 15 and I was looking at apps to help with organization, studying, and overall productivity when it comes to schoolwork. I saw an app being mentioned that went in-depth about the anatomy and physiology of the human body, and since I want to be a vet I think it would be helpful to have an app like that for animals. I saw some that were about dogs, but I wanted some about a variety of animals and now I’m here lol. Why wait for someone else to do something when you can learn how and do it yourself. Thank you so much for these videos :)
You are so welcome, LaPrecious! You have a bright future ahead! :) -Arthur
Only 2 minutes of watching and I’m already captivated by how easy and straight to the point this guy explains. Incredible!

But don’t get too excited because to built a solution that solves real life problems, you’ve got to crack your brain.

App behavior
Automation

How's that going?
Thanks Chris! I have a rather complicated app idea, but zero experience with coding, and I'm pretty inept at a lot of computer programs. But this video was incredibly easy to follow! Hopefully I'll be able to make my app idea a reality thanks to you! :)
We believe in you, Mish! Just have fun along the way and you'll go very, very far. Update us on your progress! :) -Arthur

I have no programming knowledge besides HTML and in 16 minutes you've taught me all the basics. I downloaded the X Code today and the interface is slightly different. I was still able to pick up on most things that you talked about.
Cool! This tutorial uses Xcode 10 but it's not much different from Xcode 11. Just make sure to select Storyboard as the User Interface. :)

Happy to see your youtube channel! Hey, i just wanted to thank you again about CWC+, for making the wrap up project in module 2 (i did it over twice with module 1 just to be sure I didn't missed details, and I did), about inspirational quotes, it kind of fits the purpose, to research all the motivational quotes for my Json, the project goes well and the quotes make me feel good about myself. So, it was smart idea for us beginners. However your apps about pizza, not so much Chris, I was hungry all the time and ate lots of pizza, Thanks x

First I want to say, thank you very much for this video! Very informative. Also I apologize if these questions have been asked before but:
1) How would we know if we should build our app as a hybrid app (working on both web and mobile) or as a iOS specific app like your showing here?
2) Is there anything that you would say has changed in terms of technology as I’m a software engineer myself and I know things change fairly quickly x
Hello, kindly post these questions in our tech support forum so you can receive help from our tech support staff: codecrew.codewithchris.com. Thank you! -Arthur

A thought of building an app pop up on my head while I was working and searching for some tutorials and lessons online was the first thing I did when I got home. Lucky I found your channel, so helpful. Thank you so much! I hope I can manage to lunch my own app soon.
Follow your dream and just take it one step at the time! In no time your app will be on the App Store and will also be on hundreds of devices!

Me and my friend have a robotics team/innovation project team and we are creating a app called “where the sidewalk starts”. Where kids can learn sidewalk safety and other things so there won’t be as many accidents and kids can get more exercise! This helped a TON thank you!

Hey Chris, just wanted to say that I think I am really going to like your teaching style. I have tried before to use the Swift Playground or other "beginner" tutorials that basically give you the code and words to use, but don't actually explain what the practical use is. I like that you go into more detail to explain what it is to code and how to use what you are teaching down the road instead of just having the student memorize code.
As far as why I am here. As I said, I have tried to take on learning to code apps before. My wife has a few good ideas for apps related to her field, she's an artist, and there are a few things she has searched for that shes would like to see in an app and hasn't been able to find. In addition, I have been a gamer since the early '80's, and have found that I like mobile gaming. I can see the potential that building apps has to create passive income and turning it into a serious business with the right idea and marketing. I am a CAD designer by trade, and am tired of working for someone else's dreams, so I am here to learn to code, and work toward my own dreams and to be my own boss eventually.
Thanks for sharing! Glad that Chris's teaching style resonated with you. Hope you enjoy the entire Beginner series. :)

Wow, I am glad I found this channel!!! I am going to build an app to keep score/stats at my son's basketball games!

@AdrienVillez
I started writing Swift apps in December 2018 and I’ve accelerated pretty fast (I have a 30 year background in programming Assembly and C++). I can already code complex multi-game software and video slot machines, but what I REALLY NEED NOW IS AN ARTIST! I am ready to write a new open world game.
Congratulations on making it that far!!! We do not have any "artist", well, at least I'm not one! Maybe if you look at some freelancer website or job boards, you might be able to find one. I even think that Dribbble has a marketplace!
@AdrienVillez
Damnnnnnn
CodeWithChris, thanks for your kind words. I’m on my 3rd app now (the first app evolved into a multi-game with 2 video poker games and a video slot and room for 9 games total on the menu screen).
The second app was a bar code reading decryption utility to validate the printed tickets that print out of my real casino gaming machine (a 3 reel mechanical slot, written in Assembly) that was just approved for casino use. Casinos will use the bar code app to validate customer cashouts.
I “borrowed” the artwork I had done for the mechanical slot to create the iOS video slot version.
Now comes my 3rd app which, if left up to my art abilities, will be created in Windows Paint and will pretty much SUCK. I really want to do a 3D (simulated) 2D open world platform game (think Wii Super Mario Bros style). Within a few more months, I should be as good at iOS as any game programmer, but I will always have my artwork “Achilles Heal”
It is really a good tutorial for beginners i’d say !
I was having hard times trying to figure out code for it but no need thanks to this tutorial!!
Just keep it up @Chakibuuusuiii! :) Thank you for watching and learning with us! We wish you all the best and happy coding! :)
