Hello everyone, itâs Lauren đŹđ§(U.K. rep) I hope you enjoy this video! These types of videos are always a pleasure to filmđ€© thank you so much for your continued support! P.S please forgive my awful Scouse accent đâ€ïž
Love you haha
You did really well to imitate the American accent! Some of the pronunciations in a few words are very similar between the accents as well.
Love you Lauren..,
ynwa lauren đ
You know what I loved? That absence of the ego that our english is the original and there is no more to explore. Keep up the good work. U r gonna go miles ahead.đ
The british girl has such a great character!
Way better than the other chick, she was atrocious.
â@@Midnightblew23 Its because of her strong character. The style they sit on the chair is affects your perception. I really like the how British girl sits on the chair with good posture(Especially shoulders)
@@furkantekinay1814 No the other British girl was so pretentious and condescending, it was more than her body language or positioning.
@@furkantekinay1814 she always sits with her legs crossed, BRITS generally have great manners.., donât they..,
If you are talking about British Lady EMILY, I thought she was just being SARCASTIC, no pun intended, she definitely didnât want to hurt anybody!!!
So funny hearing the two girls trying to imitate each other's accents! I'm an American and would love to be able to do a good British accent as well. It sounds so pretty! :)
Iâm British and I love the accent, itâs a pretty accent! You should try and do it, itâs a great accent x
I love British accents, I can do one but it annoys my family đ
@@miraculouslover2154 why does it annoy your family? đ
Allyâs voice is really cute and i love the valley accent
*valley
Nah that's an almost autistic/speech impediment and I'm not being mean. Somethings off with the girl on the left
@@DeadlyVax What.... clearly youve never come in contact with an autistic person.. shes just shy...
@@charles7003 I guess it takes one to know one
@@charles7003 nah man it's probably just a speech impediment I wouldn't be surprised if she went through speech therapy.
The voice of the American girl is so cute
TOTALLY
Ya, they sound dumb.
AYO
I just absolutely love this channel!đ
lauren is so cute every time....i love her accent and smile :)
Ally is a actual angel
I really liked Lauren already, but national treasure now I've seen she's a Smiths fan.
Ally's voice reminds me of Luna Lovegood
This is the shape of two individuals, respecting each other, not trying to be mean just because they are from a different country, the true representation of US and UK citizens, LOVE IT.
It's really good lesson for me to learn how to pronounce the words or phrases. Thanks for sharing.
Ally's voice đđđ
I'd love to have people with Alabama, Cajun, Boston, New York, and Pittsburgh accents here. Make sure they're authentic too.
Would the English version include British, Irish, Scottish, Australian, and Welsh? Also, the US has the western accent, the Minnesota accent, and the "mountain" accent from states like Kentucky and Arkansas. The US has many different accents within itself.
@@garyfontenot2786 Scottish, Welsh, and Northern Irish are British, while Republic of Ireland isn't. Australia is a different country in a different continent, they're not even in Europe. But they all speak English. So I don't know what you're talking about by saying "English version".
@@oo3819 And also there's India which have a ton of accents toođ
@@oo3819 They meant the language itself for English, not England the country. For British I'd guess they meant RP
@@neilkamalseal3413 true, but the English accent for India is kind of similar lol. Maybe for the different languages of India
This is the best CZcams channel everđ„șâ€ïž, Ilove it from kurdistanđ
Lauren we want more Liverpool accent mate !!
I absolutely love you girls Lauren and Christina or literally my two favorite
The cutness of this is off the charts.
i like these types of videos
âPoshâ âcockneyâ lmao bless
This is the first time I've been this early lol
You know what I love about this comment section of this channel...No fights, no bullying and no downgrading each other.
Only welcoming vibes, comparisons and cultural exchange. Good job everyone. These things show hope of the new peaceful world amidst all chaos.đ
I disagree, there's a ton of nastiness from Brits towards the American girl in these comments.
@@webbess1I actually havenât seen a single hate thing directed to the American, only to Lauren :(
i love the american,s girl voice
I have been watching and Lauren is very beautiful
they booth dont have the bond yet, but thats what makes it kinda looks fun on this videos
This American girl's accent is so cute
That's "young person from California" accent... I don't know how much it applies to the rest of California or other generations, but based one a few encounters I've had with similarly young people from south California, it seems very similar. Not really a good representation of the rest of the US but still cute and fun to watch!
LOVE YOU LAUREN â€ïž đŹđ§
AYO what
A lot of these examples were pretty close. But of course the exercise had a lot of cross-pollination, and it shows how we quickly adapt to other accents in company. As a Californian visiting Britain I could easily spot other Americans in a UK crowd by their conversation. Mostly the hard Rs and flat As quickly give us away.
When a Brit visits the USA like I have done we stand out a lot.
Both are super cute đ
Ally's voice is so cute
Ally super cuteâ€ïžâ€ïž
Really for the American accent you need to at least have west coast and east coast and then southern to compare accents the uk probably have a similar need to truly compare accents but this is awesome either way
I love accent of California. So cute đ„°
Please make some videos with French accents from Canada, Belgium, Switzerland and more French speaking African countries
Two most beautiful girls. Lovely channel...keep it up â€ïž
Please , I really want you make Brazil vs Portugal!!
Lauren let's go...
I loved American voice!!! Cute
Is crazy because the British girl laughs at how we pronounce every letter in a word, but then when we finally drop one (the h in herb) she thinks itâs incredibly silly!
But the funny thing is, the h in herb is like the only h that the British actually pronounce! Lol
Sorry guy, but that's totally wrong. The h is not pronounced only in 4 words: hour, honour, heir, and another one I forgot. And this also stands for British English.
yeah british people say H a lot?
Lauren wears The Smiths T-Shirts !
The devil is in the details. :D Nice video, do another part! However, I worked in Cali, and I'd never guess that girl is from there based just on her accent (she has a better one, I'd say ;) ). Try to do one with "incompatible" words or some idioms. Or Cockney rhyming slang! You'll enjoy it (the US side in particular). My aunt lives in the US, and sometimes we have funny and awkward moments.
I'm so early â€ïž
We want liverpool accent. Pls.
Ally voice sounds do cute
I love these videos! You should have someone from the Deep South to come and compareâŠlike me! We sound nothing like the CA accents typically.
both are fun :)
So impressed by the Scouse accent đ€Łđ
Ally is literally a real life Maxine Caulfield from Life is Strange.
I was thinking of someone when hearing Ally's voice. Now you reminded me!
yes! someone said it
Great video đđ
So the British "new" sounds like a cat's comment with an "n" which is kind of cute!
Loved both the accents
Ally (the American girl) sounds kinda like Luna Lovegood and Shubble mixed together.
Both have nice accentsI It was enjoyable hearing the differences. I don't know why we lost the "h" in herb but maybe to differentiate from Herb (man's name)? Who knows?
Would love to see an authentic American Southerner do an episode with Lauren. Christina's Bostonian accent and Ally's Cali sound quite different than the mid-west and deep south.
conversation like a Jungle Cruise movie
The British girl is sooo pretty.
when someone from brittain, attempts to sound like an american , it sounds like sooo sarcastic lol
I don't know if it's just me but the US representative doesn't sound like a native American English speaker. I am from California and she doesn't have a California accent (not even talking about Valley Speak). She pronounces words slightly differently than a native speaker and her word stress is different especially for a person claiming to be from the valley (SoCal).
I just think her voice is a higher register, making her sound a little younger.
@@user-tq9vs6fc9u It's not her high pitched voiced but rather more her word stress-I am from the same part of California she is from. For example at 1:06 "Very cool accent, I wish I could talk like that too". Also everytime she says "In America".
I'm from California and a first generation american who grew up bilingual (parents immigrants) and likewise, she doesn't sound like a Californian nor native English speaker. She seems to stress some syllables then abruptly cut them up which to me best guesses are French, Dutch, Portuguese? Just know it errors on the side of Europe (or Brazil or canadian french) tbh. And it isn't cause of the light voice that's for sure. (BUT to be fair, we're a boiling pot of nationalities. - im just referring to the stereotypical accents of west coast, northern, midwestern, southern, hawaiian, alaskan etc)
I'm from the uk and even I can hear the slight European(?) accent of the US representative
Keep in mind that language (and accents) are in continuous change, guys. And differences in pronunciation also happen all the time, because accents are not only bound to where you live, but also depend on for example the people you meet throughout your life. As a result of talking a lot with different people you might subconsciously pick up some quirks of their accents that get mixed into your own.
Long story short: accents are partly individual as well, that's why it's so hard to say "this person is definitely from xyz".
i kinda use all of them! :)
A lot of Brits in the old days were fully rhotic with their R's like Americans, even in the south of England. There's still rhotic people in England but they seem to be a lot more rare now than 100 years ago.
I have a posh English accent but I moved to Scotland and when we do Scottish at school Iâm always the one who canât pronounce the words
Are those special CZcams trousers/jeans, Lauren?
0:52 LMAO THE NORWEGIAN MUSIC BYE
Nice Shirt o Lauren'
Ally is so cute
1:26 so we say it in Germany (Wetter=weather)
8:13 Starting a conversation in 3021 be like:
me encanta la pequeña americana
Nice video
I love american girl accent. She is very cute.â€â€â€
Big up all 1 million UK dialects
read the title of this video but slowwwly
I think the back sounds little bit covered their voice
Ally is cute, like a little girl, I love her
bit weirdđ
I hear some British people add an r at the end of some words, one of them being idea and also saw and draw, is it some kind of regional accent or what
For kids in Canada/USA... Peppa Pig is the one that teaches them the British accent!
đ· đ· đ·
Ally from the valley
ëë€ ì»€ìŹì ă ă ă ă ă ă ă
Yes
3:02 Ally sounds like the instruction for those games that kids play
Authentic
Iâm over here thinking they need another Brit with a different accent because we sound different than both of them.
Lol me second đđđđ
Do you want medals? đđđ
I was in love once with a girl that surely has some distant relationship with Ally. Some of the facial features are incredibly similar. Funny thing her name was also Ally :'D
Oh im firstđ
Itâs usually the elderly British people pronounce Ither and younger people pronounce it like eether
Damn i like ally she so cute
I love you girlsđč
Anyone wanna learn some Spanish? (Thanks for letting me share this with your audience đ) Great video! đđđ
For Americans, herb is like honor (honour) and hour.
Didn't know so far that Cockney accent is posh. :-D
Same
I think she maybe meant RP accent (Recieved Pronunciation).
@Blue Moan she from northeast London ain't no way she got some Cockney in her speakin least didn't know notice but she sounded or spoke with a received pronunciation quite obvious
In America it's very common to pronounce a "T" like a "D".
who wants tea gentlemen?
I gentleman with 2 sugar
no sugar please
May I please
Shall I be mother?
What are tea gentlemen? Are they men who serve tea? Or are they men who like tea?
If i was one of the people in this video I would say IÂŽm an Alien instead of IÂŽm a human just to be funny :D
In America, Ts are like Ds: Gonnedigod....
...only the Ts that are preceded and followed by a vowel sound.
In addition to T, the R & A sounds are the other huge differentiators. The roundness of the spoken O is another differentiator, as is D in words like during. The differences are fascinating to research and (try to) understand.
More a tongue tap than a D
The subtitle is smaller
This is so weird because I officially learned British English, but I picked up an American sounding accent, and there is exactly zero consistency in the way I pronounce words. I found myself sounding like either of them interchangeably.
Same here, and this is probably the case for most non native english speakers.

Lol try comparing with Indian accent. It has got a mix of British, French, Italian, German, Chinese, Korean topped with Russian with a slight hint of Spanish.
It is the funniest of all English accents.
Yeahh Absolutely đ
Indian accent đ đ đ
I find that it sounds strangely similar to the Welsh accent
Did that Ally really ask where Liverpool is and what accent is like-I mean The Beatles where huge in Americanand all age groups know of them and about Liverpool. lol
Having travelled I can say Liverpool is far more famous for football than anything else so the fact an American with their rugby for maggots doesn't know where Liverpool is really doesn't surprise me
I knew a man named 'Erb
