Hargreaves is spot on. This season was Milan's first experience of champions league football for 6 plus years. Yet home and away, the gap between Milan and Atleti in the group stage was massive. The first 30 minutes in san siro, Atleti couldn't even barely touch the ball. the ref then sent off kessie and despite playing the rest of the game with 10 men, it took another horific penalty decision to allow atleti to win. In the away game, Milan completely dominated again vs a defensive and almost scared Atleti. Milan won the game late on fair and square. Tonight, man utd made them look impenetrable. Atleti almost had nothing in the final third, but man utd's slow and cumbersome movement helped them to be setup vs any attack. I was amazed by how woeful man utd were.

Too many old and luxury players. Against Spurs what won them the match wasn't just Ronaldo, it was the fact that Fred was the only player who was consistently moving in the midfield whether it was in defensive or offensive phase of play. It’s unfair to keep comparing United to the current top teams. We never compared Liverpool to the team they were in the 80’s. No one talked about Liverpool having a fail season because they didn’t win the league. During my childhood Liverpool had succeeded as long as they secured top 4 and that’s all the fans really hoped for. I think even the most optimistic fans never expected us to trump Manchester United and Arsenal and Chelsea who were financially and tactically ahead of us. Even when Klopp came into Liverpool I don’t think we were thinking ‘okay now we are going to dominate English football’
This criticism of United should stop. They’re not a top team, the players of the class of 92 are history. Alex Ferguson isn’t the manager anymore, it’s a different Manchester United now. Times move on.

Can’t believe scholes said the manager was the problem 😂

Man, scholes has some thick skin on his face, how is it not peeling off from the hypocricy. 3 years of never saying a bad word on ole, only pointing at players. now, he cant stop bashing the coach. unbelievable.

Um.. did scholes just call our vastly experienced manager inexperienced when he didn't say a word about the PE teacher for 3 years?

At the end looked like Scholes was fully contemplating whether he should work for utd or not 🤔

Style of play and 11 players working hard to pull it off.
