Finally got the Fairmont back from turvi!! 👍🏻👍🏻
I'm still looking for a race whenever I get my twin turbo kit installed Alex, you did me dirty on the street one day with that car. I hope you remember, because I never forgot that day
Lol I remember... I had to give you some of the sauce LOL
Yes Sir, today is my 50th glad I had something to watch... thanks.
Happy half century
Looking good! Doing a full project is no joke. I always tell people to make a list of what they think they’ll spend and then double or triple the price for actual cost to complete it. Stuff always comes up that you weren’t expecting. Never fails.
That 2-3 shift in the intro is ❤️🔥❤️🔥
Just closed my shop. Listening to this while driving home. No 40 hr a week here
Them calves putting in work moving the Fairmont
Looks good the roll cage probably goes through the floor to the sub frame connectors the tack welded plates are probably just to cover the holes
Holy crap. 28k! So glad I do all my own fab. When I had my fox I did all the mods including torque boxes, shock relocation, anti roll bar mounting and all custom LS mounting in the engine bay plus all custome intercooler and hot side piping. So right about buying someone else’s project. You save a shit ton.
I zoomed in on those CALVES 🤗 😂😂😂
Fat Boi was breathing hard trying to “ Shove it all in there”! Hey ohh 😂
The onlycalves content was strong in this video 😂
So good to see the fairmont back and all that’s planned for it!
Very informative video. KEEP ON ROCKING! Can't wait until it's all done!
Awesome! Great Sunday morning video!
Awesome Alex! Can’t wait to see the coyote carb set up.
Interested to see the fuel cell set up. Man this is a total new ride!
Car looks great! Jason and the guys always do top notch work
Beautiful, congratulations
Awesome content Alex 👍
Intro still delivers the dopamine. Thanks Tio.
Smile at the end was so genuine, enjoy it!!
Awesome content, gonna get started on my notchback as soon as I get a few customers squared away. My roller is very rough, going with similar setup
Definitely nice work. The Fairmont is alot safer now!
Car is looking bad ass Brother. Those Jacks are Sweet!!!!
Badass work man🔥🔥🔥
Sleeper n a half right here doggy. That beige paint color on the bottom of the fairmont would look cool on the roll cage too. 🤌🏻🤌🏻
Yes this is what you want brotha when you tube a front end plus roll cage the inside. It looks great/legit! Remember bro #RaceCar!
Lookin' good! I honestly can't believe how solid Hush money is underneath...
That car is gonna be killer. Looks great!
I love it bro you have a RACECAR! It takes a set of nuts bro! Great work!
One step at a time, but how cool would it be to see that car in the 6's within 3-5 years!
Nice work on what is done , little older style cage and anti roll , but will definitely get you where you want to go .. a rear mount radiator may be a good idea for with the way that car is laid out ..i look forward to the rest of the build
Alex, there is no price for fun!
Have to drop a like! Love this car!!! Cage looks solid. Cant wait to see more updates for the car.
Great video!! Love that car!
That roll cage bar you asked about, goes thru the floor, down to the subframe connectors and thats a patch to civer the hole the drilled for the tube. Got the same thing, on my mustang.
The front end work is great. They did a good job mounting the headlights and radiator
Great way to start my Sunday
Perfect way to start the day
You get shit done. Congrats on your channels success.
Definitely gonna be a sick build when its all done!
Honestly this car excites me to see progress on more than the others.
Nice stuff!
Alex, great stuff.
Turvi is punching the air right now 😂 nice video Alex 👌🏽
Auto like for the intro alone!
Beautiful!!
Congratulations ! Yes, that’s Gratification ! “Keep teaching these kids” I bet you can’t wait for that 1st 1/4 mile hit.
Best of luck 👍
Lookin more and more like a racecar every update. Cant wait to see it back pushing shit in.
Alex may find it’s already perfect. Hope the Coyote. Goes In smoothly and relatively easy. Never easy but if it runs it might be sweet
“Working on the weekends like usual.. “ 💥💥💥💥💥
Keep doing it Alex hush money is coming along
Love that jack.
I need to get one.
How do you like it so far alex.
Use Steele it for spraying the trunk etc.Way more durable than paint
At the beginning I thought you secretly bought a DonK By the underneath shot😎
I'm definitely not a chassis guy but I thought it had to had a dash bar.
The plate that's tacked in is just to fill the hole they put in the floor to connect the cage to the subframe connectors. Normally they get tacked in place and then seam sealed like they did with the tubs. You can weld them in fully but with it all being super thin they normally look bad unless you use silicone bronze tig rod and get the floors super clean. The rear area you can do the same run a bead of seam sealer around and put the plate back in and rivet it down. Assuming they didn't fully attach it because they assumed you where going to paint it. Good easy paint to use is either por15 or rustolem hammered. Make sure you give everything a good wipe down with a scotch Brite pad and then acetone on a rag after.
Brush or spray?
@@YDBT4LIFE normally I brush and use the foam brushes less masking stuff off that way. When you're painting you're going to miss spots. I always walk away for a little then come back and check everything over with a flashlight and do touch up. Cool trick with the seam sealer also is you can put a little acetone on a cheap brush and smooth it nicer than you can with your fingers after you apply it.
She's looking good 🤙🇺🇸
They weren’t going to take liberty’s painting it for you or glueing that panel into place so that’s why they left it with 2 rivets
Tin soldiers does some bad ass shit! Are you doing a single turbo or twin? Should be a bad little ride
👌👌project 7’s on its way.. 🫡
Man, I want to get some bogarts like that for my fox
Would it be better (cheaper) to paint it now while it’s all torn down instead of after it’s all built?
Fairmont is looking good alex. Peasant chat tonight I'm sending you some money towards a creeper. 😂
QuickJacks FTW!!
That is awesome Alex!!!! will this be street driven at all or strictly a race car?
Ice cream short drives but mainly race crap
28k!!!! ....damn did they lube it up at least 😂😂
You've never built a car before I see
Spray some etch primer on all the bare metal for mean time
Those look like all tack welds
Tio Alex. Im sure you get the question enough, but I’ve always been curious about how she got the name hush money
I just noticed that's a fox gt lower on the front 😂
1 thing is for sure, you're never getting rid of that car now lol
everything is expendable.
Where the rear frame rails are notched at the mini tub, is that a concern? Looks like it necks down to just material thickness. Sincerely asking, not nit picking.
I am not sure but I guess I trust what they are doing. As they do this all of the time.
Makes me want a fairlane……..😂😂😂
W
Hushmoney about to be one NASTY mf can’t wait to see the future of this car!
Alex whose carb are you using?
Ird more than likely
Why isn’t that cage 100% welded out?
It is. Lol it's a cover plate. It's welded to the subframe connectors
You’re always bragging on your calves. Put them to work!😂😂
2800.00 not 28,000???
What?
you spent 2800. 00
28,000
