    I'm very interested in this tire but wanted to know how they compare to the original Big Horns? I love the all around performance of the Big Horn but hate how fast they wear. Can you give me some incite on what they do better and worse than the Big Horn and if they wear faster or not.

    What do you think about this tire in 30x10-14 for a yamaha wolverine x2 1000? I ride east coast trails in Kentucky, Tennessee, and West VIrginia.

    I am look at these to replace my stock big horns on my 16 wolverine. Do you think these will be better in some north central PA mud than the big horns or about the same. Im looking for a nice radial not an agressive mud tire cause I use this around the house and road travel

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  Před 2 lety

      These tires will do very well in that type of terrain! The more spread out lug pattern on the Megabite was designed for soft/loose soil and muddy conditions. It also is great at clearing the mud with the spread out pattern.

    Is this tire going to ride smooth on hard surfaces, slick rock and highway? How is the durability compared to the Terrabites?

    • @ericnelson1177
      @ericnelson1177 Před 2 lety

      The Megabite is definitely are more aggressive tire. They still offer a smooth ride but with a bit more noise feedback. Think of an all terrain tire (Terrabite) in your truck vs a mud terrain tire (Megabite). As far as durability goes, the Megabite has a little more sidewall armor but other than that, just as durable as the Terrabite.

    • @ericnelson1177
      @ericnelson1177 Před 2 lety +1

      30.4 lbs. We are loving this tire on a variety of surfaces. The rubber compound makes them work great on hardpack and the aggressive lugs grab edges for great forward traction.

    Are these any good in sand? I have a RR max and ride in soft dunes once per year and want something that’s not gonna hinder me too much in the sand

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  Před 2 lety

      With the more spread out lug design, these tires do great in softer/sandy conditions. The spread out design helps each lug really bite into the terrain.
