    Installed Tusk Terrabites on my 2016 Honda Pioneer 1000-5. I used 27x9x12 on front and 27x11x12 on rear. I ride mostly on hunting trails and roads in neighborhood. Terrabites are quiet and smooth on hard tops and work very well on everything except deep mud. Had Maxxis Bighorn tires but front tires wore out quickly driving on roads.

    I have a 900 EPS Trail with Terrabites 27x9x12 front and 27x11x12 rears. Installed and had them balanced. Runs straight and smooth at 60+mph. Top gps speed 67.1mph. Great on rocks; gravel; sand and asphalt. Run them at 18psi. During the winter I slap snowchains all round. Snow is they're failure.

    MY FOUR YEAR REVIEW - I bought a set of terrabites 30x10x14 in 2016 for my my 2014 RZR 1000 when they first came out and just replaced them. I had over 4500 miles on them with bout 80 % off road and 20 % on-road i live in a great state that you can licence you ATV's and Side by Sides !
    I was really happy with the wear and to be honest they still had about 30% of the tread left and could have run another season although the grip in the rocks and loose stuff was suffering. The only soft spot in my experience was mud at least up on the mountains with the slimy early season riding. They turned into slicks and would not clean very well. To the point that i often thought about getting early season mud tires then switching back to the more all terrain style of the terrabite.
    This season i punched a hole in the sidewall of the left front in the rocks and had to stuff a couple of plugs in it . It was a chronic leaker after that and with some rock rides coming up i didnt what to take a chance on having a problem since i dont run with a spare tire so i just put on a set of Maxxis Carnivores 32x10x14 (also in RM ATV review) and im looking forward to getting these in the mud and rocks.

    I like that RMATV has tire and wheel packages....but, you don't offer them in all sizes. For example, I wanted 32" Tusk Terrabites on Tusk 15" wheels for my Honda Talon 1000R but your website will only allow that combination in a 30" tire. I talked to RMATV and they said the combination was a valid one and that lots of folks run them that way. Just wish I could have experienced the simplicity of purchasing the tire/wheel combo I wanted without having to go through all the legwork (so to speak). Just a suggestion to possibly offer more combinations. All that being said, thanks for the great video and I definitely appreciate RMATV!

    I can’t decide between the terrabites and the megabites. I ride half Moab type stuff and half mountain trails. The mountain trails may get snow and mud.

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  Před 10 měsíci

      They are both great tires for both those types of terrains, however, the Magabite does have a more spread out tread pattern and will clear mud better than the Terrabite.

    • @guy-zw3sz

      Big difference a larger wheel will have a rougher ride because of short sidewall on the tire but will Corner way better than a small wheel because you will have less sidewall to flex , if you have small wheels big tires it will ride smoother but Corner worse if you are going to do a lot of bumpy off-road I would recommend smaller wheel you can also air them down to climb over stuff.

      This video was filmed well over a month ago and we have almost completely shut down our video filming over the last few weeks to help get orders to customers. Myself, the entire video team, our entire marketing team, and pretty much every employee we can spare, is working long days in the warehouse, packaging orders, and taking phone calls to help get customer orders out. During this COVID-19, we've had to adhere to local and state mandates, maintain social distancing, things that have made it difficult to keep up. Our freight companies won't allow expedited shipping because they're also trying to play catch up. Contrary to what many might think, we've been the busiest we've ever been over the last few months and have even gone to 24 hour operation to help our customers out. So yes, orders are taking longer to get to customers and we apologize for that. But no, it's not because we're filming videos. Have a nice day. - Chase

    Tusk tires all the way terrabites go real good on the dirt and pavement with dot rating. And they will last a long time.
    All maxxis tires are junk way to soft. Soft tire should have soft price 80 dollar tire they charging 180 for thats as much as a 40k tire crazy people actually throw there money away on them. Pretty bad when you buy a utv and first thing you have to do is get rid of the poo poo horns bighorns just spin on dirt no traction soft crap that wont last go over 50 on pavement and they feel like there going to explode. Guaranteed to go flat when you need them most. Maxxis tried to make a dot tire with the libertys but failed miserably to soft to pass a dot test and wont last long at all. Dont waste your money on maxxis tires go tusk all the way.
    Holeshots proved bighorns sucked in the 90s and they still put them on all stock utvs. Tusk needs to sign with can am so we can get a good tire right off the get go.
