This will be the comment I update with any corrections. There are some other infinitely farmable mounts such as rivendare's deathcharger and the stonecore drake, but I'll be saving those for part 2 since they're farmable multiple times a day. For this one I just wanted to go over daily/weekly mounts.
I also added timestamps for each mount in the description in case you have some already and would like to skip through it. Also, something I forgot to mention is to pickup some Bear Tartar: www.wowhead.com/item=133576/bear-tartare
This really speeds up some of these dungeons/raids. Also, if you have a demon hunter alt I believe they're the fastest out of any class still.
Corrections:
The pureblood fire hawk/flametalon of alysrazor drop from the firelands(I said this vocally, but the text incorrectly said dragon soul)
The blazing drake can also drop from Heroic mode(not just normal)
The Sha of Anger now has a fixed spawn point at 54, 65
I missed some Argus mounts that you can get from rare spawns once a day: ptr.wowhead.com/list=54807075/argus-mounts#0-items

Hi @MadSeasonShow - one thing to fix. Sha of Anger was changed to spawn only on 1 point. One of those 2 Top-Left ones.. not really sure which one

If you alts are all in the same guild, then you can select private group, so only your toons can join the LFG
For HFC: The quest you showed is actually just the port for the upper part, to get the port to mannoroth you need to do the following quest, which requires you to kill mannoroth 4 times. Also the port only brings you up to mannoroth, so you need to kill him each time.

Have over 325 kills on the dragon in the Stonecore...one time I forgot to loot and reset it. I swear it dropped that run
I feel your pain. I extreme soloed the ZG tiger boss before they changed it. I dc'd just after the boss died. He was gone before I got back in, so I couldn't loot. I opened a ticket and the game master told me there was nothing they could do, and for me to just try again in 3 days. I bet you anything that the mount dropped that time. Ugh!
got him after about 400. never used him after that.
thats nothing bro, leveled 3 alts with my friends. Dropped 3 times always lost the roll to a friend. I level alone since that day.
Talacocheta i got it on my first run back in cata before i even knew the mount existed
4th try for me it dropped but my gf cannot drop that thing either, I'd rather had been lucky on Invincible tho, 250+ kills and still counting... (stonecore takes 40 seconds to do the run and reset, ICC.. 19 minutes and must wait a week :/)

A side note: the shortcut quest in the Hellfire Citadel raid leads you to the last TWO bosses, Mannaroth and Archimode, not straight to Archimonde.

Going by the in-game Adventure Guide, the Antoran Charhound can indeed drop from *any* difficulty.

A quik tip if you're going to run old raids/dungeons: use Bear Tartare, makes it a hell of a lot faster.

Bear Tartare is a food you can eat that gives you a temporary movement speed boost after killing an enemy, it doesn't have to be an enemy that rewards XP, so when farming old raids you can clear to bosses much quicker, saving a lot of time between runs
its nerfed sadly :(
Blizzard changed spawn points of Sha of Anger and now this world boss spawns only near One Keg.
Sometimes I think I just watch your videos for the relaxing theme music at the start and relaxing delivery of the information through out. :D

Couple corrections first the battle bear is NOT 100 percent it is about 98 I missed it once got it second time, after doing everything correctly second if you are a tank in legion YOU CAN solo mythic Kara I do it weekly with 936 IL demon hunter in vengeance. Good luck

Wow... That tip about being able to skip right to last boss on all alts after doing it on your main is amazing! This will save me so much time! :D
Solid video but I have a few comments:
1. For the Amani Battle Bear as long as you get to the boss holding Kasha by killing the other animal bosses,, kill him, and then free her before the timer you will still get it. You don't need to free any other npcs..
2. You forgot to include the Deathcharger's Reins from Rivendare in Stratholme. (EDIT: Included in your pinned comment)
3. You forgot to include the stonecore drake. (EDIT: Included in your pinned comment)
3. You forgot to include the mount (Drake of the North Winds) that drops off of the second boss (Altairus) in Vortex Pinnacle.
4. In draenor you forgot to include the mounts that drop off the main 4 rare elites on Tanaan. Their respawn timer isn't terrible unlike the other draenor rares that drop the mounts like Poundfist etc. You are eligible for the cages once per day per boss I believe.
5. You didn't include the mounts from the rares in Argus. Probably worth including.
6. Both drakes from Deathwing drop on H mode. (EDIT: Included in your pinned comment)
7. Sha has a static spawn now. (EDIT: Included in your pinned comment)
There are others you missed too but I assume you left out most of the rare hunts like timelost or the purple Alysrazor mount recolor because they are more luck and camping than farming. Also assume you left most rep grinds out as well because those aren't really daily/weekly farms.
Thanks for the info, Cub! I'll be including a lot of these in part 2 since I wanted to keep the daily/weekly farms separate from the "infinite" farms. On second thought, it might have been a better call to include the dungeon ones(strath, stonecore, pinnacle) anyways, but ah well. I'll be sure to get them in part 2. I also didn't know about the daily lockout on the tanaan jungle ones...worth noting. Thanks for the informative comment.
My pleasure. You might want to mention the site simplearmory.com/#/ for people too. In the collectable tab there is a mount section. It will list all the mounts your missing. You can also check the planner and it will list a fairly efficient farm route. I have nothing to do with the site, but I've been using it for a year (maybe longer) and it's helped me stay on track.
For those who are doing the Dragon Soul mounts, there is also a achievment mount that you can solo if you are interested, i forgot its name but it's preety much twilight Life Binders maiden.

This is a great video. I bypassed the group alt switch-aroo thing by multi boxing. That's actually working much better for me; as 4 toons with the same chance to get the mount is giving me a better drop %. Keep these lists coming! I need more mounts!!!

Wow. It's so strange to see someone made a video over 2 years ago based on a guide I wrote a few expansions back (I'm the author of the Wowhead guide mentioned in the description). I guess the CZcams algoritme sometimes does work?

superclaw900 ive been farming that since 2015. and im at i think at least 30 runs. the Ashes of Autism have yet to drop
EDIT: According to the addon Rarity, i actually now have 76 runs so far.
Matsen115 That's not too much. I've done 80 in the last 4 months to try and get Invincible running 5 chars.
It took me 200 or so tries to get Ashes, and between 200-300 for Invincible if memory serves me. Only got the latter recently during Legion. The one thing about mounts in WoW is that unless they take it out, it will eventually fall for you if you keep trying. It's the reason that I solo things - so that I won't have to ninja it from someone. Just make sure that you're master looter and everyone understands that it's yours if you go with other people and care about getting it. (Like I was soloing Attumen for the Fiery Warhorse back in the day, and a friend wanted to come because she needed to do something in Kara past him. I made it very clear that the mount was mine if it dropped because I had been trying for so long. It dropped and she was happy to pass on it. She was my good luck charm. lol)
Edited to add: It does bug me sometimes when I see people get mounts easily that I've been farming for a while: a guildy did Mythic SoO and got the mount the first time he was ever in there. Lost Ashes back in the day to a roll when someone came with us in a group run that we did weekly. And in my last guild, a guildy took both Mim's Head and Elegon's mount in the same night when my boyfriend at the time and another friend and I were doing our usual old raid runs and we let him tag along. I was really salty about that one for a while because he didn't even know that Mim's Head or Elegon's mount existed! (And the friend and my ex had been farming for Mim's Head longer than I had been, so they should've been the ones to get it. The other guy was a loot ninja, too, and not a team player but I was trying to be nice so let him come.)

Wise Burger, you know you can have like 50+ characters per account that can all kill him every week right? Even a full realm of 12 characters could achieve 2.1k kills in a little over 3 years, which is entirely possible.

I'm sorry my friend but Midnight in Mythic+ (Legion) can be soloed. If you have a tank with decent ilvl ,920, you can clear the first boss and go directly to Midnight. Have been doing it for two weeks now, still no mount :(

mythic Siege is piss easy to solo now that pretty much everyone has 910+ gear
you can also solo mythic Blackhand, but its much harder. make sure in the 2nd phase to get him by the wall with your back facing it by the times he casts Shattering Smash. if he does and you go on the balcony, the fight will reset. and in the 3rd phase, stay as far away from the edge as possible.
8:44 this one is disgusting to farm, i could have gotten it so much sooner than i did if i didnt have to wait for my faction to take control of that place all the time, im glad they havent done anything like that again

Not everyone levels through dungeons! If you level via questing or other methods, you won't get the rep while leveling.

It also drops from normal mode, so you can do 10/hr before you get locked out
The Vortex Pinacle, the dungeon of Uldum also drops a mount in normal mode

The Amani Battle Bear isn't 100%, is around 95%. I needed 2 runs
wrong its 100 % drop if done correctly I have helped many members in my guild get it a lot
I dont know.. I needed 2 runs and Hirumared said in one of his mount videos that it's not 100%
you get the achievement for the dungeon before you get the mount that boss is killed last and the follow the npc when it breaks the 3 vases and the mount is in the 3rd vase (so kill "Halazzi" last ) works every time
chainexplorer nah its 92%, not 100, you've just gotten it for yourself and your guildies so much because 92% is still ridiculously high. I had to do it twice as well.

Are there really many other ways to do a boss with scripted mechanics though? How can there really be any originality in that field. The only mark of quality is the clarity of the guide, of which, Asmongold's were really good!
Awesome info video even in 2020 my Paladin got the Astral Cloud Serpent 1st try. Also I had no idea about the bronze drake drop every group I've ever been in skipped killing that side boss so I never got it or knew it was there.

I feel like the only mounts that matter are current content raid mounts, and a handful of old hard-to-obtain mounts (Fiery Warhorse, Mimiron, Invincible, Sandstone Drake).

I would like to see more druid travel form options. Letting druids select mounts to be travel forms would be neat, too.
ICC wasn't working for me, so looked on other forums and found a solve. Tested and updated it, here it is. Got invincible while testing the method! After 4 years of farming him, it was a relief to finally have him drop! Here is the updated lockout method
Steps 1-3 if you don’t have healing on your main spec or whomever you want to clear the raid on, otherwise just do all of raid but lich king (don’t have to healing dragon at all).
1. Clear all but the healing dragon and lich king on your main on NORMAL 25 difficulty, or all but Lich King.
2. Create a group in the group finder with your main, still with difficulty set to NORMAL 25, and set to auto invite, and private if all your alts are in the same guild.
3. Log onto a healer who can solo the healing dragon, or get some help if you need. Make sure this character has their raid difficulty set to NORMAL 25 to match your main, and join your own group in group finder with The character you complete the Valythria encounter. Your main will NOT be saved even though he is in the group because this is normal difficulty.
4. You now have an 11/12 lockout on normal difficulty that can be joined by any character. Hearth out, leave group, and create a group in group finder, still with difficulty set to NORMAL 25. Auto invite on will make it faster for you to join your group.
5. Log onto whichever character you want to kill lich king, set your difficulty to NORMAL 25, and join your own group.
6. Zone into ICC. Accept the 11/12 lockout message. Leave the group, then change the difficulty to Heroic after the message saying you are in an instance that you are not a part of. It will ask if you want to accept being locked to the 11/12 Heroic instance, or leave instance and re-enter 25 man normal and switch to Heroic upon entering. Leave instance and re-enter with the lockout saved. (does not matter if you have killed him on normal, it will still switch to heroic.) Do not try to get multiple characters lockouts saved, it will mess up. Kill Lich king immediately after accepting lockout and re-entering instance.
7. Kill H LK 25.
8. Repeat steps 4-7 as many times as you have characters who can kill H LK 25 for as many weeks as you want.
9. Log back into your main, switch the difficulty to Heroic, and kill the Lich King. Once done with your main, the instance will be locked, so do him/her last.
Important notes: BOTH the character saving the lockout AND the character joining the lockout need to be set to NORMAL 25 or it will cause problems.
The character joining the lockout may NOT set the difficulty to Heroic until after zoning in and accepting the 11/12 normal.
If you follow these instructions precisely, you will have no trouble killing just H LK every week on multiple characters while avoiding a full ICC clear, no matter what anyone on here will tell you. It's not a bug or an exploit, it is how the lockout works.
The number one cause of any trouble is typically disagreement between the 2 characters' raid difficulties. Always make sure everyone is set to NORMAL 25 before you create or join your groups and it should go very smoothly.

A big tip for Elegon. If you are running on Heroic25, make sure you can do high DPS and drop him before 50% or whatever before he spawns the guy that will 1-shot a geared 110. This can be difficult if on a undergeared tank/healer or lvl100 toon.
