    Good on ya mate. Love the commitment and love for the Australian built cars. Sadly there are less and less Holden's in existence every day. That's why my vs clubsport is my baby. Soon to be stroked 355. Keep it up man.👍🇭🇲

    Tuff car bro I’m looking at getting a VZ sv6 myself but not too sure yet. Love the way you’ve set it up it’s not your typical LS or Alloytec which is great to see

    own a ve an rebuilt the 195kw alloytech several times after listening to your story an knowing 6k plus engineering is alot to stump.. Your best to clear defects, remove the charger setup (for now). I have a built motor with underdrive an catch with 2200 stall which does not work the 5speed, these cars need to be worked an driven as a catch can will throw all the bad oil from the rockers

    • @brendosgarage1494
      @brendosgarage1494  Před 2 lety

      The car attracts a lot of attention as is and with my driving record as soon as the police run my plates they will pull me over the town I live in isn’t a big city and all of the highway patrol know my cars I want everything engineered so I can just hop in a drive with out to many hassles and the amount of effect to pull the charger off pay $1100 for it to be tuned back to how it was get everything cleared then get it all tuned again plus I can’t put metal back where I have cut it to fit the intercooler so that will still be a defect. I have thought about it man trust me but the risk of driving it and getting defected again is high and it’s not worth it. Thanks tho man love seeing the comments and exploring new ideas appreciate it 🤙🏼🤙🏼

    Dude, please put down the water bottle, it was so annoying with all the clicking, hard to concentrate on what you were saying. Apart from that great video. I supercharged my VY, brought the entire assembly second hand from a bloke who had an L67 sitting in his shed. All up it ended up costing a little over $4,700. It went from 152hp to 217hp, took a lot of mucking around on the dyno, same as yours it didn't want to play nice. Great video, keep em coming..

    Hey mate, was the difficulty with tuning due to a factory ecu?

    • @brendosgarage1494
      @brendosgarage1494  Před 2 lety

      Mainly yeah was due to the stock ecu just had dramas with the 02 sensors playing up and then not idling but he re mapped the whole fuel trims do it must of still be still accessible enough to change that much just took its time. I did look into a aftermarket ecu and I seen that “wolf” we’re looking to make one but wasn’t on the market

    Hey bro got a turismo blue vz I wanna ls everyone says just buy one but got it cheap and would rather build one everyone says vz are cunts to ls due to the fly by wire situation just wondering is it really that hard to do

    • @brendosgarage1494
      @brendosgarage1494  Před 2 lety +1

      Tbh nan I’m not exactly sure what’s deeply involved in LS swaping a vz I know you could get a stand alone loom and computer and do with out all the standard wiring conversions but don’t know a real lot about them sorry man🤙🏼

      Cadillac catera . I’m looking to l67 swap it but I need an oil pan and gasket vt engine harness and ecm . And I can Handel the trans and stuff but the front sump pan is hard to find here and also I think that I might need a vt supercharger to make the application work but I’m not to sure because I have seen different things on it

      Well actually no it’s not “pro charger” is actually a brand the actual name is centrifugal supercharger. Pro charger is a brand that sell centrifugal superchargers
