That's a great idea! In the meantime, I'll give you my favorite (Seth from the videos). Hands down, my go-to pump is the OneUp Components EDC Pump. Not the lightest, but not heavy, carries tools and other gear that I need on the trail/road, air flow is awesome, and has reduced my need to carry other stuff in pockets or bags. I use it on all my bikes. Bigger size for MTB, smaller for road/gravel.

Does dropper post act as an elastomer or just do up and down in the seat tube to change its height from the rider to the saddle height ?
It just goes up and down to change height, there are no bending traits as an extra feature. It's use is to get the seat out of the way on downhills then you pop it back up when you're getting ready to climb/pedal again.
Anyone have a suggestion on hydraulic vs. cabled actuation? Which is better for a dropper post?
The general leaning of most riders is towards cable actuated posts. This is primarily due to the simplicity of the system . A cable actuated setup uses a standard shift cable/housing and can allow you to choose your favorite remote to pair with your dropper. They are also super easy to setup or maintain. Hope that helps! Watched the video which was very informative then tried on three different occasions in 2 days to place an order on your website. Everything was fine until I typed in my address and then hit the save and continue button. Kept getting error messages so i submitted a online chat request no one responded. I even tried calling to place an order but wait times where ridiculously long so I placed my order with another vendor. Never received any feed back at all which made the whole experience a complete disappointment. In the future I will just place orders elsewhere.

He forgot to add that the dropper post comes on new bikes yes but only bikes that are thousands of dollars

Jose Muniz it just doesn’t go well, my bike came with one, after one summer, it had to go through warranty, and even after that, it s not working well. The lever sucks as well. I would buy a cable activated instead.
