- Hey ya'll! Today, I'm taking you to our backyard oasis during a snowstorm to slow cook in our vintage 1966 Frolic Camper! I'm making homemade pasta from scratch, and delicious cheese sauce all made with recipes from a 1992 Gourmet Magazine Cookbook. Enjoy this relaxing, slow-living video!

Yum! I haven’t made homemade pasta since I was a kid with my grandma. Do you have any exhaust system for your kitchen area? I use the one in my camper almost any time I cook.I have an ‘88 terry resort 24ft, so I am spoiled with an exhaust fan, 4 burner stove and oven, big freezer and fridge that is a newer model that the first owner upgraded to. An oven or toaster oven is great to have. I use mine often, especially for reheating since I don’t use a microwave. I’ve been living in my camper for over a 1.5 years on family land to save up money while I am working and getting an education.
Hey Zane! We just have a little crank vent on the top of the camper, no exhaust fan though. So far it hasn't been an issue, but with the warmer weather, we'll probably cook outside as much as we can. Just looked up your camper type and it looks amazing! Must be great to have all that space. We also don't have a microwave, so that toaster oven is a must for us. Our original oven was removed before we bought it, and it would have been amazing to have. You're lucky! So great you get to live in yours full time, that's the dream right?!
Is this the jamper?
