    Can you install the front bumper peice without the rubber piece?

      Which rubber piece? The pieces around the headlights are part of that whole assembly, if you’re talking about what people call the “bat wing” or “eyebrows” then that piece can be left out. But not the piece around the headlights.

      I think it goes on the drivers side on a Firebird. I put mine in the trunk. And I don’t recall if I even had a battery tray when I got the car originally
