I wonder if you could get away with sectioning off part of your shop with a tarp or something similar (think shower curtain and rod but on a bigger scale) then get a portable/window air conditioner and turn it on an hour or so before you plan to work. It might also help to keep the dust down. Thanks again for the great content.

There’s actually AC unit in the wall just behind where the Firebird is. I’ve thought about doing exactly what you’re suggesting for while but just trying to figure out the best way to go about it. Ironically, before we bought the house, that corner of the shop actually had a room build into it that was used for “growing”. That’s why the AC unit is there. The first thing that needs to happen is to insulate the building. I’ve been researching different products to do that first. That corner had spray foam in it but it’s was just a mess and covered a lot of the electrical. Some day, I hope to have a climate controlled shop that is comfortable to work in any time of the year.
