Thanks so much for this video. I had a sticky neutral and it was due to lever height not being correct. Saved me $300 by not having to take it into the shop. Super helpful. Thanks
That's awesome glad the video helped you save some money! Now you can spend that money on mods for the bike if you want. Good luck and ride safe my friend!!
Thanks for the vids. My bike came with mid reach shift rod from the dealer. I swap it out for extended reach rod to accommodate my work boots. I’m 5’6” works good for me. Informative videos! Thanks!
That's great I am about 5'5" I think I will try the extended reach rod at some point, great to have options. This bike is very fun and easy to mod! Ride safe bud!
Is it possible to adjust the brake pedal? I love the bike but the rear brake pedal position makes for foot pains on longer rides. Its not in the manual and google isnt being helpful, either.
Sorry I am not sure about the rear brake pedal. Most likely you can't adjust it. Maybe there is a mod you can attach to allow for the pedal to be extended forward and would allow you to keep you legs more forward to press it. Good luck and ride safe!
I am looking to buy this bike soon. I saw that these levers are in a very steep angle and I doubt that my feet would bend that way. It is great to see that it is possible to adjust the height of the gear shift lever. Would you know if it is possible to do the same thing with the rear break lever?
I am not 100% sure if you can adjust the break lever height but i think it should be possible. Otherwise you can adjust the angle and height of the foot pegs or boards until it fits for your. Also you should go sit on this bike and try to test ride it before buying so you can make sure everything is comfortable. This bike also comes with ergo-fit system so when you buy from dealership they give you option of 3 different seats, different handle bar reach, and also foot controls location so it fits riders of all sizes. Good luck!
Check this video out on installing aftermarket levers czcams.com/video/FtHsPcFWPJ4/video.html these make the clutch and brake pull much easier and you can even adjust the distance from the bars so it's very close and easier to pull for smaller hands.
I bought the bike used and the previous owner had installed the extended reach rod then switched to reduced reach and gave me both rods! You can find the rods on Amazon or directly bought from kawasaki website.
That rod is the most flimsy part off the whole bike. Check the lever on the right. It was pointing backwards already, and even more now. You better adjust that one tooth clockwise, so you keep enough thread at the shiftrod. This adjustment is far from perfect.

Awesome glad it helped! Ride safe bud!!
I rode my 2021 Vulcan S home this past weekend. I need to adjust both the shift and brake levers. This really helps. Thank you!

Hi do you know how to adjust the rear brake pedal
I think there might be a way to adjust it. Have you checked the bike manual or searched on Google?
Do you have advice on adjusting the clutch lever on my Vulcan? My hand is too small to reach it properly, it's very uncomfortable...

@@Kamdorian That's so helpful, thank you! I'll be sure to check out more of your videos.
@@FrowningKimmy you are very welcome! The video has a link to buy the levers from Amazon too. Thanks for watching and ride safe!
Where did you get the alternate optional shift rods?
I bought the bike used and the previous owner had installed the extended reach rod then switched to reduced reach and gave me both rods! You can find the rods on Amazon or directly bought from kawasaki website.
Where did you get those floor boards?
From Amazon, check the video description I have links to the boards and the adapters you will need. Very easy to install!
Love these floor boards, I highly recommend! On top of being much more comfortable, I can now lean my bike further without the pegs scraping.

Thanks for the tips, will check it out!
