    Smith’s century in first test in adelaide of 141 set the tone for Australia in the series. I think that was the top moment of the series which was his slowest century with utter patience

      BIGDAZR it was surreal yes and I love a Dave Warner hundred as much as the next person but Lyons runout was a momentum shifter. England looks very solid on day one and that half chance rattled them.

    Best moment for me in this Ashes series was Malan's wicket in the second test Day 4 last session. Root and Malan were playing so well looking so comfortable there was surely no way they lose another wicket. Surely they will go 3 down to end the day but Pat Cummins out of nowhere knocked Malan's off pole

      Yes after that wicket on the next day first hazelwood struck twice to get well settled root with under edge of the bat and other batsman and after that its all done by mitch starc’s five fer...pink ball and starc always suited each other...but against india it favoured hazelwood...

      @@getaflattyinya It was poor umpiring and clearly should have been given out, but I was referring to the failed lbw review off Cummins a few minutes earlier with the ball pitching outside leg. Easy with hindsight, but if the Aussies hadn't made that review, then they would have won..

    What about 2005 Edgbaston test... Aus lost by just 2 runs after a tough fight by the tail enders and Flintoff comiserating Lee after the match. I think that was one of the finest moments in ashes history.
