I didn’t know I was waiting my entire life for this, but I was.
Hey thanks --your comment is greatly appreciated!
i envy any grandchildren you have, because your music brought me immense comfort.
thanks!
This is so great to listen to. I imagine some comedy skit on SNL or a sitcom or movie that takes place in medieval times, with these lute songs playing, and seeing if the audience figures it out. Great work, Dan!
Thanks Mitch!
I'm still listening, HA ha and still smiling. 😁😁😁🍀🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💥
Thanks Sean! glad you like
You've managed to weld two of my favorite genres, Doo-Wop and Baroque lute into one single performance. Bravo. Well done!
Thanks! it's a fun tune / daniel
I relate to this comment haha!
For anyone who loves music, your channel is a must! So many memories are wrapped up in many of the songs you perform. You do so much to bring harmony into the our lives. Daniel, thank you for all the time you put into these amazing performances. I was wondering, just how many instruments you play.
Mike -Thanks for listening and I appreciate the comment --I haven't done an instrument count lately. Maybe you could go through the videos and let me know what you find? :)
I still have the original 45 RPM I bought in 7th grade. We all knew it was going to be a hit when it was first played on the radio.
Thanks for a great job. Flawless. Takes many of us back I'm sure.

Thou art soulful.
Thanks!
I saw the title and thought, "Del Shannon's Runaway on lute? Are you mad?" But what a revelation! It sounded wonderful; straight onto my "Bliss" playlist. Bravo! More please.
Thanks for listening, Graham!
Just awesome! I remember listening to this on AM radio when I was a kid.
Downloaded for posterity. Thanks, Daniel!
Glad you like it!
That slight smile whilst playing really made my day. The joy of music incarnate :)
Thanks Jono!
The lute usually has a contemplative sound to me, but this one sounds so happy!
Thanks for listening!

Amazing, again!
Thanks again!
I hope that you had as much fun making this as I did watching it.
Hi Chris....er, actually the fun part is viewing it when it's done. Sometimes you just don't know how things are going to work.
👍🍀👋🎶 Thank You!!!!
Thanks for listening
Maravilloso instrumento
thanks Jorge!
Amazing sound of the instrument and your performance is wonderful. 👍👍👍 People usually adapt old music into modern but you did the opposite. You made a modern tune sound in a baroque style. I love this idea.
Thanks Bogumit! You leave some interesting comments.
The CZcams algorithm is working, for a change. First song put the hook in me....subbed in about 5 seconds. Can't get enough!
Thanks for the sub James! / daniel

Awesome version! Great job!
Thanks for listening!
I got so excited when you started playing the solo. Beau travail!
Mateo - thanks for listening!
Nice rendition, Daniel. Thank you. I never understood the Farfisa organ solo instead of using a guitar in the original recording.
Aldo -Thanks for listening! well, the Farfisa was a pretty novel sound at the time (there was one in my rock band in high school) it sounds pretty dated now
Actually, I believe it was a Mellotron.
Wonderful instrument that you master so well
Thanks Pierre!
