I think that tour pack matches the style of the bike pretty well. I'm sure it has a fairly low weight rating so the only way it will have a down side is if it creates some wired dra g or you just don't like how it looks

Looking great ! 👍The 4 point docking system is the best invention Harley ever had to quick convert a cruiser into a touring bike. Never owned a Harley without that docking system.

Excellent video. Glad that I could see that this mount does not work with the Sundowner seat. I like the advantages., but the disadvantages would outweigh the advantages for me. I would need the Sundowner seat over the stock solo seat for touring which is when I would want to run a tour pack.

I found a killer 22 low rider st with stage 2 setup done and the Rockford fosgate as well wife rides with me as well when we can. But we don’t take long trips. So I’m considering trading my Harley ultra 21 model for the low rider at for more performance

@@TyFromTennessee yes I think I’m going to trade my ultra in for the low rider at. I think with a 2 up seat and king tour pack wife should be ok on the back no issues as we don’t ride a crazy amount of miles at all. The bike I’m looking at only has 700 miles and makes 122hp 132trq!

How much weight does it add to the bike? Also, the backrest doesn't really do anything in this configuration, right?
Not sure about the weight. I bet AdvanBlack has all that information on their website. If I had to guess, maybe 25 to 30 lbs. You're right, the backrest doesn't do much, but you could stretch back on it at a stop or something like that. Thank you very much for watching!
My solo tour pak rack came with some spacers along with the docking hardware, did you install them with your docking hardware that you got with the Advan Black solo 1-up mount.
I installed the spacers and the docking hardware previously during another project that I was working on. The Advanblack kit comes with the docking hardware but I didn't need to use it. Thank you very much for watching!
@@TyFromTennessee Did you say that you did not use the docking hardware that came with the advan black solo tour pak rack. but you did use the little spacers that came with the advan black solo tour pak rack on the existing docking hardware you had for the sissy bar you pulled off in the video. If you did add the little spacers was the bolt that attaches the docking hardware long enough to give you enough thread to secure it on the bike and did the stock saddle bags still fit.
When you ride,can you actually lean back on it comfortably?
Not while you are riding, but when you're stopped at a light and such you can lean back and rest a bit. Thank you for watching!

It might. The Sundowner seat is just really tall on the passenger part. Take care and ride safe!!

I just installed the same on my FXLRST. Did you set it forward, middle, or to the back, when you tightened the four bolts holding it to the rails?
I am adding a Mustang seat with its own back rest so I may take the backrest off the tour pack and find some blanks to cover the screw holes. I have their heat shields on order and I wish they made painted side panels because my bike is White and the panels are black; Harley really just was cheap.
I plan to keep the pack on the bike nearly all the time. I look at it this way, just like mismatched by size side bags I cannot see them or the tour pack while riding!
