I thought i heard the "俺" but since I am still learning Japanese i wasn't sure, so this is really interesting!

"Se régaler" also refers to food, who can means "enjoy a meal" too. When you know that Alastor eats wild meat and perhaps ate humans when he was alive, it fits even better.

In Italian at 7:13 Vox says "io ti radio". This is a play on "radio" (that means radio ofc) and "odio" (that means hate) and they sound very similar. "Radio" is even the verb "radiare" that means "to be cancelled by a list or a role". Basically Vox says that he wants to cancel Alastor while due to the distorsion of the voice he says that he hates him too and he references the fact that he is the radio demon all in one sentence. The adaptation is insanely clever

Fun fact in the Hindi when Vox screams fuck in English they had him say “lag gay” in Hindi which basically is an exclamation of defeat. The closest English comparison is if he just said “he kicked my ass” or “I’m finished”

It's funny because Japanese loves using intonation and context to imply menacing intentions instead of using abusive language outright.
I think Alastor's voice both works and doesn't at the same time, just because it seems to pull inspirations from news anchors and game show hosts, particularly that "ZANNEN" when the lights all go out.

Pretty much. We don’t have different pronouns for first person. It’s only ever 「I」 or 「we」 depending on if it’s singular or plural. Because of that, we aren’t able to make as many plays on words as Japanese can with those. Of course, we still have ways we can make a play on words, just usually not with pronouns.
No matter how many times I listen to it, the Japanese voice actors are absolutely perfect... Especially I love Alastor's Japanese voice actor

Nanni Baldini is such a talented VA, he's no doubt one of the biggest names in italian voice acting, and has been for a while
Among other roles, he's also Donkey from Shrek, Stewie Griffin from Family Guy and Chris Turk from Scrubs. You hear him everywhere in italian television and I love him, he's so talented

1) France French, I loved how aggressive and angry Vox sounded! It was filled with emotion and was so lively, I love it!! The voices fit so well! The French put so much effort into their dubs, and I love that!! Another reason to continue learning French 🇫🇷❤️
2) Turkish, they did SUCH a good job with the pacing!! And the voices, in my opinion, fit them AMAZINGLY! They put SO much emotion and the lyrics rhyme so well and are very catchy!! Their accents are so beautiful! 🇹🇷❤️
3) English, as it's the original! But I still preferred the ones above even more! 🇺🇸❤️
4) Canadian French, I loved their voices so much!!! It was extremely catchy and I loved that so much! Their voices fit pretty well, especially Alastors. I LOVED the and so much!!! 🇨🇦❤️
5) Latin Spanish, Vox's voice doesn't really fit but it's extremely catchy! I love how much emotion they put in it, Alastor sounds like he's mocking Vox xD The ending is amazing!! 🇨🇱❤
6) Portuguese, their voices fit alright, their singing is extremely catchy! However, Alastors voice could have been more clear! 🇧🇷🇵🇹❤️
7) German, the pacing is a bit bad on some parts, but Vox's is amazing! He put so much emotion into his voice and I love his voice and accent! He did a great job!! Some parts are pretty good, some could have been better! 🇩🇪❤️
8) Italian, I like their voices, especially Alastors! There's a few hints of autotune on Vox. but overall it's pretty alright! 🇮🇹❤
9) Hindi, while in some parts Vox sounds pretty monotone, I really liked how much the lyrics rhyme some times. It was overall pretty alright! The voices fit well in my opinion!! 🇮🇳❤️
10) I like the emotions a lot, but I'm not that much of a fan of Vox's singing. However, Alastor's VA ROCKED this!!! Especially the last part!! 🇯🇵❤️

When I see Turkish VA's its always making me proud, proud of some people are really working hard and not just some cheap/lame acting since its not very common in my country ❤❤ I waited almost 4 years for Hazbin Hotels new episodes and it come out with VA's is more amazing! As an Italian, i'm proud of how we handled this, but nothing beats the English OG to me, the voices just feel better. Also props to the French for their song, they put so many emotions in it and in the end Alastor's verse was great
As a turkish person I didn’t have high hopes for the song translations on the show but this BLEW my mind! It’s really well done and thought through! Although I don’t think Alastor is as scary as he needs to be in the Turkish dub :,) Aside from that this is an amazing cover and I will be listening to it religiously

Cool, I just discovered that there's many other language dubs of the show thanks to this video. Time to rewatch all the episodes in my mother's tongue to spot all the differences. (Lucky me, there's two different French Dub. I could even compare the two, haha. People knowing more than 2 languages are lucky too.)
I'm alright in english so I never bothered to go into the settings and see how many different dubs there are. My bad.
English, Italian, and Turkish are the 3 best in my opinion. For me, it all comes down to Vox’s first part of the song.
in the hindi dub at 15:15 vox calls alastor "stale biriyani" which is kinda like calling him "stale jambalaya" lmao

I loved the Thai one! The actors follow the melody perfectly and its easy on the ears. As for the actual translation i dont know, but i enjoy it.
The latinoamerican one I wish had more rhymes in it. The whole Vox rap doesnt rhyme and almost loses the melody at times. But overall, good.
I think the Italian one is my favorite though. Vox's voice actor doesnt break a tune, mostly it rhymes and they have so much personality!
As thai the translation is way off, but I guess that is to keep the rhyme?
@@sosleepyzzzz4319i'd argue it's quite accurate! though, some words that alastor uses are quite informal which takes away from his persona. thats the only complaint i have with the translation.
@@PerishersChamber Nah With the opening and ending it feels like they just used google translate for the song. And the part about "Stayed gone" in opening and ending is almost lost in translation too
@@sosleepyzzzz4319i see what you mean, thai translations tend to sound dodgy to keep with the rhyme and rhythm. but i'm talking about the message from those lyrics. the essence and meaning are still there and i wanted to give them credit for that.
