Thank you Doctor for answering that question; I think everyone who is interested in TTs and BBLs always want to know if they have to choose one or the other; and both surgeries give very different results. It’s great to know that “yes” you can do both over time in a systematic way!👍👍👍

See, i’m not sure this would work.... well for me anyways.... I’ve had a tummy tuck and i’m pretty small with not much fat at all on my sides, back, upper stomach under my chest, or anything like that. I’m suppose to be going to a consult to get a BBL hopefully bc my butt has dropped and i hate it. it needs to be pulled back up and fluffed up lol

So i’m just not sure where they’d get the fat. maybe my thighs?? Even then i don’t have a whole lot. i’m 5’9 and 125 lbs if that tells you anything. I didn’t even have that much fat when i got my TT. Idk, I unfortunately can’t see how it would be done for people like me... hopefully i am wrong. A butt lift would prob be better for me but i also want some junk in my trunk lol.

I had a TT/BBL with Dr. Williams and I see a few comments about getting it done in one round. I recommend don’t do this. Listen to Williams and do one at a time. For one the recovery is majorly uncomfortable and for two I believe you get better results doing them separately because I think he’s able to get more fat removed that way. I’m only 3 weeks PO so I can’t tell how I feel about my results yet.

Great content and informative. Doing both a TT and BBL together should only be done if you have a good foundation and just a stomach. If you have lil to no behind, this is the best way because he can fill you out with more fat in your butt, hips and legs if need be. I think people try to rush the process and wonder why it's nothing there or "waste of money". He can only take out so much fat and do so much in one round then he have to trust that the fat is surviving before he give you a BBL.

    - 2015 had a tummy tuck

I have right now so much skin loose in my stomach and need also muscle repair. But my concern is: after all the above history , will it be safe to get the second/final tummy tuck?

Most times you can combine a TT and a BBL together in the same surgery. You are correct in that I recommend separating them into two different surgeries with the TT first and the BBL 6 months later but I certainly do perform them together if that is what you prefer.

It is--but not always. Sometimes there is so much scar tissue that forms after the liposuction, especially with laser Lipo or J-plasma, that the skin won't move, and a tummy tuck is not possible, but it is individual and varies from patient to patient so I would need to see you to say for sure.

Ohhhhh that's such a great question! So I never Lipo the mons at the same time as a tummy tuck. Why? @DrWilliamMiami  Před 2 lety +1

That is such a good question and something not discussed but I have had many patients tell me the same thing that they are fine and then out of the blue they experience temperature changes to their butt or sharp pains etc and I think it is normal and all related to nerve regeneration. Nerves take a VERY LONG time to heal and as they do they can send out sharp pains as they are figuring out how to reconnect. In my experience it does go away but it can take a couple of years certainly. Not just with a BBL but with all types of surgeries.
