Surprisingly, more people drown in deserts than die from dehydration/thirst. This is due to flash floods catching people unawares. Conversely, most folks take sufficient fresh water with them when travelling in a desert.

I love this episode, one of my favourites. A fire? At a Sea Parks? Also, pretty sure a lot of people have died of dehydration while stranded at sea
well, since drinking sea water will make you throw up, or if you somehow resist you end up with too much salt in the system, so the body will basically loose more own water from reserves to balance this out (or have a stroke) - drinking it will dehydrate you quicker than don't drink at all. That's why there are normal drinkable water in the emergency rations. You can desalinate using evaporation.. but that's quite hard when stranded. So yeas, dehydrate at sea is quite easy. People stranded for long time were able to grab moisture from any living thing they would catch or occasional rain.

Drowning in a desert is very common. Deserts have flashfloods and people drown in them each year. They come out of nowhere and don't even make a lot of noise, until it is on top of you.
Drowning IS the biggest killer in the dessert, flash floods that people aren't prepared for! Mental, i know 🤯
Did you know if you put an egg on top of an I-Phone, two hours later the egg wil explode. Ok! I just made that up.
The bloopers for all these series are fantastic by the way 😂
Next series you guys should look into is 'Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps'. Another good option is 'Spaced' which stars Simon Pegg.

A few years ago, I can remember walking past Sea Life in Hunstanton and there was a sign up saying that they were closed because of floods. One of the few places you would think would not be adversely affected by too much water.
Also had a big pier fire... a structure that is literally surrounded by water.. at least it somewhat makes sense as it is made of wood

The budget for this show was tiny but it is a shame they couldn't have at least attempted to use real Italian, surely even someone's mate down the pub knows more Italian than they used in this episode.

iphones were so overrated , they wernt even smartphones on release , they couldnt even record video, do video calling or have 3g nor could even copy/paste ! damn, i had a phone in 2003 that could video call over 3g FFS
Apple have to bee forced to use usb-c due to new European Union legislation saying all charging points have to the same. They arent catching up as lightning is superior.

@@rehqehthey could of made lightning 2.0 and also the connection it makes is better, lightning lasts, USB C I struggle to make connection so device charges and it is only a year old
