Mono R players have shifted away from relic and are using stone of erech: does the early work vs scam and still does what you need vs murktide.
Spellbomb doesn't really do anything unless you're playing the saga version - sure it's fine against sanctifier but since you're running the blast zone version then you're fine. Personally would move towards artifact hate since I see more hardened scales/food/amulet/etc. than I do MUs where spellbomb is useful.
Those are honestly the only things I noticed that were "out of date" but otherwise mono R midrange still does its thing.
a friend of mine is playing 4 Urza Saga in SB as a surprise tech in game 2 against decks where he SB out Blood Moon.
