- This is a unique RETRO PINBALL FLIPPER GAME
This awesome console was made in 1980's in HONG KONG.
I bought it from Leboncoin, in France for 30 Euro
The game was broken yellowed and dirty.
Took me one week to restore it.
I utilized the Retrobright Technique to bring back the original color of the game.
This is an electronique Pinball Fliper and two players can play this cool game.
I hope you like my work!

Tysy: That's ok, I'll dip in MC-51

He makes a new one
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My heart was happiest when you said the sticker belonged to the console an put your sticker in there also. ❤️ Shows true love for the restoration and also who restored it with love. Another great winner tysy.
Latessa Nagy no 👎
This reminded me of these stuffed toys restoration where they make a little "heart" made out of the original stuffing
Except the replacement sticker had a spelling mistake in the first line 😞

Tsy: puts batteries on corroded contacts
Product: doesn't turn on
Tsy: :o
I think you meant "This is not a good sign..." 😏
"I found these broken wires, that totally broke by themselves inside of the game and not from me opening the case at all"
it's for dramatic effect.
c o r r e c t
I thought it was silly to place batteries into a device with corroded terminals, but this did give a baseline level of functionality before the restoration. I think he knew that there was very little chance that it would not work once the terminals were cleaned and the wires were soldered back on. He may have tested the device with a 6V power supply before making the video just to be sure.
Why in my 41 years of life have I never thought to use an ice cube tray as a parts separator?? Be right back... I'm off to the dollar store!
Don't forget the mask and hand sanitizer and money and keys
Also, dumb question: Are the UV LEDs actual UV, or just deep purple "black light"?
Sir i even didnt realize that is a ice cube tray , thank you so much
@@andie_pants They're most likely UVA or UVB lights, which is enough to generate the chemical reaction needed for retrobrighting. Stronger UVC LEDs are super expensive and super dangerous as they can quickly damage human tissues.
@@andie_pants They are probably more like black light LEDs. UVC LEDs look really ice blue and are prohibitively expensive. I don't think I've ever seen them come in strips. You wouldn't want to stare at them for too long either unless you had a desire not to see anymore.
If I were a classic video game collector I would absolutely appreciate the fact that he kept the original sticker.
Makes the whole more valuable.
Restoration itself is an art and Tysy, the artist.
In these restoration videos, everytime they show all the dismantled pieces perfectly organized and ready to be restored, I always hope to hear Steve say: "Alright, let's put this out onto a tray!"
Nice! Okay. Let's start with this B unit.
"this sticker belongs to the console " my heart is happy!❤️ major respect 👌
"The sticker belongs to the console" - true restorer. many other channels on youtube, does not get the difference between restoration and repare.
Just a little soldering tip: use a finer point soldering iron and before soldering remove any extra/old tin and ad new tin for a better result and stronger soldering and don’t put the tin on the iron itself just at a bit when you head up the cable but for the rest well done
Please link is to your awesome videos.
Two things. First, be careful putting elastomeric contacts in water. These are the black areas on the bottom of the rubber push button switches in this project. Sometimes they are a coating, sometimes a carbon puck, but either way some of the older ones used a water soluble adhesive and putting them in water will make them dissolve.
Secondly, using UV leds around a plastic container decreases their effectiveness by at least 50%. The plastic material diffuses the light and depending on the type of plastic, some of them have a UV inhibitor in them so that they don't break down as fast in sunlight. A large, clear glass container is a much better option for a retrobright tank.

maybe next time i will buy a fish tank 🤔, thank you 😊
"He's a Pinball Wizard"... ok obvious comment , but what a wonderful restoration job - bravo!
Thank you for saving this game. It is good to see a game get restored and working again instead of getting thrown away.
11:07 STOP! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO SPONGEBOB?! Bob l'éponge ! Noooooon !
*Squidward would like to know your location.*
lol
Xd Lol SPONGEBOB
Non pas bob l'éponge wsh
You putting the old sticker back in made me very happy 🥺❤️🥺
It's like that mix feeling of nostalgia and connection with the past, with the joy that comes with it, these objects have deeper meaning inside.
Just, amazing job!
The fact that you use every part you can in the restoring process instead of just buying new screws and parts makes your restorations really special and heartwarming💕
I just imagine this guy just typing broken on ebay
exactly 🤣💔
Always enjoy the great close-ups, editing, and humor! One of my favorite channels :)
The illusion of the "ball" movement is well done.
I just want to thank you for bringing history back to life. I am a vintage person and collect, use, watch and wear vintage stuff.
It's my modern 😁 .
Your videos are a joy to watch especially during these difficult times!
“30 years later” lmao

Tysytube: he spend more money in batterys than the game
Huge stretch on this meme format.
Now for nearly 40 years we saw, people spend their time with little devices and knobs. No big change. :-)
Good work!
everyone: rust is a chemical reaction and is irreversible
this man: hold my beer
7:45. Like the lightshow led strip makes. Also nickel plating is an interesting part. I'am happy the console works. Nice piece of 80s to have😊
YOU HAVE TEASED ME WITH THIS VIDEO FOR SO LONG!!! I’m happy you posted it’s been a while
I was mowing the lawn, got a notification that TysyTube uploaded, and stopped halfway to come watch!
You really are an inspiration when it comes to restoring things.
I love how you kept the original sticker. It belongs to the console 🥺❤
Tysy, as usual, another excellent restore vid! You never disappoint!
Very good restoration I can just imagine a young kid driving his mom and dad crazy with the sound effects 😂
He : "Cuts Foam "
Me : GoodBye Spongebob😑
That's such a retro pinball electronic portable game to take with you anywhere you go, I like to have it for my card games and board games collection. Thanks. 🤘
This is top notch 👌. Idk which is my favorite this or the space invaders 🤔
Thanks for the pin it's a honor :D

“The most desired handheld of the 80s”
Colecovision football game: “Am I a joke to you?”
My husband still has his!
Football is not played worldwide... Very rarely played outside the USA..How could it be the most desired handheld of the 80s ?
For my ( french) football is your soccer so yes he his a joke to me
I got Coleco Head to Head Ice Hockey. Meh.
The most desired handheld of the 80s isn't a handheld at all but a tabletop. Look up the Entex Adventurevision. This amazing tabletop used a spinning mirror and LED's to achieve graphics. Extremely expensive sadly. As for the restoration of the pinball machine, fantastic job!! I think the machine is a Castle Toy pinball.
I love when you do the specialized restoration processes like the UV light box and nickel plating the battery terminals! Also the sticker turned out great!
The SpongeBob part was very funny, love the amazing work you do and it makes staying at home worth it
I still own this pinball from the 80’s 🤩
odd tinkering would be proud
For real he would 💯
Odd Tinkering* know the name of our master....
Why do I have a feeling that this guy, Relaxing end, and Odd Tinkering are the same person?
SAME HAAHA
I remember playing this game when I was young. Very high tech at the time.
The H-P solution with UV light was really neat.
Great stuff.
I got shivers when you were cutting the foam, that sound was incredible
Wow, the techiniques are similiar to Odd Tinkering’s. Well, inspiration could come from anyone.
Honestly thought I was watching Odd Tinkering video for about 5 minutes. You both have such similar style.
I wonder if he is......naaah
He knows good ideas when he sees them.
I think they are inspired by each other. in a recent video of odd tinkering, he mentioned something about tysy tube
But, but, the rolling batteries and the little jokes make tsty superior
You must have inspired by Odd Tinkering. As you know console restoration is his specialty.
Wow. I used to play this as a kid. This was some state of the art stuff on the 80's
Nice to see this device getting restored and repaired instead of thrown out.

Fantastic work.
Beautifully restored. Great job!
And if I may add: watching your videos is so soothing and relaxing. I love it.
The sponge cutting sounds were SO GOOD
I thought I was on Odd Tinkering's channel until I saw the TysyTube sticker lol
Tu dois sûrement être fiché S depuis le temps vu les quantités astronomique de Peroxide que t'utilises x)
Remarkable work. I learned 20 different techniques from a single video. Congratulations!
I used to have this when I was a youngster! Thank you for the fab nostalgia trip.
Muito bom TySy, você é muito habilidoso! Ainda quero ter uma peça restaurada por você! Saudações Brasileiras!!

You are seriously do the best restoration. This game consol i had when i was a kid. U really got my memories back. It still looks so awesome. Thank you for taking me back in my happy past.
Wow! You turned 40 year old junk into something that looks like it just came out of the box! Impressive!
I love the toucan watering can!

Really impressive restore. Amazed what you did with that label.
It's shocking how well the anti-yellowing worked. Great job once again!

nice find 🤣
Did I just watch him decapitate SpongeBob?
Super diligent! Reviving our childhood memories! Thanks so much!
I really enjoyed this one - great trick with the laquer!
For the french text, there's some mistakes :
"le bouton" not " le boutons"
"fabriqué à" not " fabriqué a"
Otherwise the video is awesome, I liked it.
he redid the mistakes volunteerly, the whole translation is pidgin but the idea is to keep it like original
De plus, j’ajouterais « assurer » et non « asurrer », « fonctionne » et non « functionne » 😬
They probably used the 80's version of Google translate to translate it.
Is this spell right merde?
Pretty sure the French guy knows how to write French so can only assume it's been done on purpose. Mistakes in the English too but who's really checking for that?

Yep
Your videos are so awesome. I enjoy watching you restore things. Great job!
Perfect! I simply love your work. Thanks for sharing. You deserve a prize!
Melamine foam makes an excellent cleaner, slightly abrasive which s why it’s used for “magic sponges” Also good sound insulator.
To have your screwdriver shaft temporarily magnetized you might want to consider using a small magnet such as the ones found in mechanical hard drives. Those come in a flat, slightly curved shape and are quite powerful compared to their size. I often use one or two of those stuck to the screwdriver shaft (as near as possible to the tip) when I need to "fish" screws in deep recesses, just as you did, or just keep hold them when screwing/unscrewing.
As always, another fantastic project!
I am so proud of you for being able to restore such an item.
I love these throwback restores. Nice work!
I could not believe how clear the plastic turned out, amazing
You're the King of Restorations. They're relaxing to watch too.
I had this when I was a baby and kept using it for years!!! I completely forgot about it till this video. Wow. Thanks for reminding me of childhood! Fun times.
That de-yellowing methode is marvelous ! Great end result !
I really enjoy these old electronic game videos, keep up the good work
I didn't know I wasn't watching an Odd Tinkering video, but oh man I freaking love these types of videos, no music nor any interruptions, just straight to the point and a fun pleasure for both eyes and ears.
