Between "Stuart Little" and "House", Hugh Laurie convinced me that he was an American for years, not a Brit. He's really gifted when it comes to accents.
Wait,he's not really American?!I am an amarican, and I thought his ascent was real!!!
It always fascinates me when ppl learn he’s a Brit.
indeed he is a talented man.
have you seen his work in Blackadder? ... you'll never think he's American again xD
I saw him in 101 Dalmatians when I was kid, the one with Glen Close. I remembered his accent when I saw him on House and thought wow, his American accent is really good lol.
yea you just have to stop doing the fake british one
I’ve seen all 177 episodes of House M.D. (more than once actually), and I can confidently say that a good 70% of the cases on this show are rare.
the house fandom wiki even concludes every episode summary with a "zebra factor," in a reverse of the adage "when you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras." only a few times have i seen the zebra factor register under a 5/10
There's that many eps oh meh gosh. I have like four seasons of the show
@@spicybeantofu There are 8 seasons of House M.D.
One of the best shows of all time, still holds up today
"... Until House has an epiphany." (1:18) This was the best part of this show. You're on the edge of your seat while House and his team go through differential diagnosis trying to find the root cause of the patient's symptoms, then, suddenly, a light bulb almost literally goes off over House's head and he suddenly has the answer. My wife and I used to watch this show religiously. We especially loved that they had real doctors on the staff to provide real world insight into the fictitious maladies.
i thought all of the illnesses on the show were actually real, just extremely rare?
@@dietotaku As far as I know (and I read through all the House fandom wiki and more), #1 on this list is pretty much fictional. All others are real although more or less rare. What *is* fictional is the time illnesses take to progress and the time the team takes to diagnose. But that was acknowledged by the cast and crew themselves - it's a tv show after all.
@@dietotaku You're right! I meant fictitious patients. The diseases and conditions are indeed, real. Good job catching my mistake!
one of my faves was the girl who had a 25-foot tapeworm in her intestines and had no idea because she also had CIPA - she couldn't feel pain.
I definitely thought the Black Plague episode would be on here
This series had the best Diagnoses and every episode had something interesting.
It's definitely "Gold poisoning" Happy saturday night, Sophia. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
The nun that got copper poisoning from her secret IUD or the woman suffering from sexsomnia stick out in my mind.
"20 Times the House Team Didn't Give a F*** About Ethics" needs to be a list. 😂
Oh boy we gonna just talk about the whole show then lol
Would prob need a top 50 hehe
Regardless of the number, the challenge would be picking only the top ones.
Great show. Hugh Laurie is a brilliant actor.
Another episode that stuck with me was the one where a father unknowingly poisoned his own kids with testosterone. The most shocking part of that was a 6 year old girl menstruating & having a stroke.
Woman- You're talking about brain surgery?
House- I'm talking about really cool brain surgery!
I always get a kick out of Chimerism storylines because I know someone who genuinely has it. He has a litany of strange lifelong symptoms, like all of his fingers being the same length.
I absolutely love this show! It is definitely one of my favorite shows of all time! I've seen every episode and it's one of those shows that I don't mind watching over and over, I never get sick of it!!
The girl that was allergic to the sun.
The boy who was autistic with worms is his brain.
The girl who was a little person but wasn't supposed to be.
Thought for sure #1 would have been "It's actually Lupus". There'd be a couple clips of them going "It's not Lupus" and then House going "It's Lupus".
I love this show
more House lists!
I miss house.
House season 1-3
Houses team: " It could be lupus"
House: "IT'S NEVER LUPUS!"
Season 4 episode 8
House: "I finally have a case of Lupus"
guy he made un-paralyzed was one of the wackiest for me
Where's the episode with the insomnia suffering patient, who was eventually diagnosed with the Plague?
Hope for another video like this one with maybe the black plague episode and a few others from maybe the final season please..?
The black plague episode was insane
God, I always really liked House 😄
The one with the wife slowly killing her husband was a really interesting and weird episode because the wife is the same woman who plays older Amy March 😂 And Amy is such a kind, gentle person so seeing that same actress be a woman who is literally trying to kill her husband was weird 😂
What ephiany
This list proves why we need a real-life Dr. Gregory House despite his misantrophy and totally unethical methods.
Lupis
What about the testicle cancer... In a young girl..
"We found a tumor."
"She has cancer?"
"Technically, no."
"So, it's not cancer?"
"No, it's cancer. But, *he* has cancer. On *his* left testicle."
You mean the teenage model who had CAIS? I was very shocked upon watching that episode, it was so much confusing for me. A couple of years later though I read some more info about that syndrome.
How where you confused? In a show where basically is mostly rare diseases?
@@gotica I couldn't imagine that such a syndrome exists. I thought the show made it up.
Surprise. Yet another House video. Wait Hugh Laurie isn't actually American? What is real?
Right when I heard him talking on an interview last year I thought I was tripping
Are you single Sofia
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@Uncle_Smidge it's sad that he does this in watch mojo and this channel as well. He will always be lonely.
She's definitely going to see this bro, I promise bro
A flash warning would have been nice…
