Deep down, part of me knew that Roshan was going to be the final boss.
Just like the og game where Altair had to fight his master
I'm confused, where was the boss fight?
10:40-12:25
I knew ,they would fight at some point ,because She was in Valhalla dlc. But never thought She was going to be the final boss to beat. What more surprises me is that Nehal isn't real ,but an imaginative friend to Basim. So is this mean All that time they were talling with each other ,was actually HE was talking to HIMSELF .Thought it 's good to have a friend got you back at hardest moments imaginative or not.
Luckily not as a villain but as a mother figure who don't want to see Basim corrupted by his past.
This and valhalla has some of the coolest isu lore in a while. And basim is in the centre of both, such an interesting character and I'm glad he is one of the main characters of the modern day moving forward
26:13 that quick smirk. It's obvious Loki has fully manifested in him.
Yeah. It is the same smirk Loki has in AC Valhalla throughout the Asgard arc
Basim smiles even when he's actually sad. We saw that in Valhalla when he told Eivor about his son.
Just finished this for the first time and I’m just in sheer awe of what an awesome and shocking twist ending this was; it perfectly puts all the big narrative puzzle pieces from this game and Valhalla together in a way I never saw coming. Was even more mind-blowing when I realized that the “Nehal” personality is the reason the game’s called ‘Mirage’ 🤯🤯I love that they literally hid the twist in the title
So Alamut was Loki's prison.
The Djinn was probably odin torturing loki.
And Nehal is Loki who tried to manipulate basim.
Also, Roshan knew basim was an Isu reborn, so she tried to protect him so that he doesn't lose himself and when basim disobeyed her, she blamed herself for that and leaves the brotherhood.
Also, basim loses enkidu because in the end basim merged with loki and enkidu sensed that this person is not basim anymore.
"Also, basim loses enkidu because in the end basim merged with loki and enkidu sensed that this person is not basim anymore."
since i only watched the ending (kinda do not care about pre-Loki Basim´s story i only wanted to see how the merging will go and maybe to see if/how he loses Enkidu),so yeah once Basim basically became Loki i can see why Enkidu attacked him
@@r3l1csvk It’s also how he gets the scar on his face that we see in Valhalla it’s from his bird
The Djinn was probably Odin and Nehal was Loki’s consciousness or memories and that’s how Basim saw them
@@Ghost_-nz5dy nah, both, djinn and Nehal were Loki, djinn designed to make Basim scared and kinda mind screwed and then there came the savior,Nehal, remember in their last conversation...Basim:"You,the part i was rejecting for all this time." Nehal "A part with you shall be one whole once more." then you can see they dusted the same time..and at the end Enkidu attacked Basim ,because that time he was Loki...and as Loki that why´s he said He is going to enjoy the reunion with anybody who wronged him,IF any of those still live.
My biggest question is why did it seem like Basim let Loki take over??? You would think he would fight back or resist like Evior did with Odin but it seems like Basim accepted this and let Loki take full control. And is Basim gone forever or is he in there somewhere still.
That was faster than my Mcdonald order food.
Facts
Love the lack of emotion in their faces ❤
Ikr, it's just sad. Odyssey ruined the franchise. I used to love watching the cutscenes cus it feels like a movie.
In some parts, yes... But it's impossible not see that Mirage cutscenes are really better than Odyssey and Valhalla ones... They made a lot of new animations too to make less robotic cutscenes, with better facial expressions. I think if the game still looks like the rpgs it's the fault of the engine
Dawg what
@@reezwave how is Odyssey responsible for the lack of emotion ? there's countless funny moments or you're used to write mindless comments ?
If mirage can make this ending more longer i think its gonna be interesting..add loki and sigurd also.. it would be awesome
Cheers for this, the game didn't show the final cutscenes, all I could hear was the voices and subtitles. Anyway, it's in my bottom 3 AC games, but all of them 8/10 or more and is my favourite game franchise. Can't wait for AC Hexe and Red, hopefully another 10/10 from one of those.
How does this dude gets to the end of every game so fast??
This kinda channels receive the games early from the release date, so they play before the game hits the market but upload the videos on the release date of the game!
cause he has no life but play video games.
@@connorbolton1463and you watch him all day😂 you’re more the loser than he is

First, Basim's sword looks awesome. And so this game is a journey of self-discovery for Basim. Not quite what AC fans wanted but still bearable compared to Valhalla.
I'd rather play Valhalla... I was really hoping to see how they would connect the events of Norse Paganism with the events in Akkadian paganism...
@@Ozzie_MandiasI was really hoping we’d make some progress in the AC storyline, but nope we got a basim origin story 😐
Valhalla is heaven compared to this barely credible Origins mock-up 🤡
@@Ozzie_Mandias that wasnt what they going for .
Basim is the Face of AC.
He is in the modern day and this game serves to flesh his character out
@@overland1178 Well he is the focus of the modern day plot. Valhalla served as a modern day conclusion of everythibg up until that point.
Basims story cobtinues in the modern day. This game is more a apatizer for AC infinitys launch wher the modern day is gone be at now
hey cool vid but i wanna know what is the name of the outfit you wear in the beginning and how to get it pleasee
So roshan is altair ibn la ahad ancestors what an easter egg
And by extension Desmond's ancestor
I miss Desmond
Someone didn’t pay attention to the game
No. La'Ahad is her father. It's most likely a nod to Altair rather than them being related
What makes it even more ironic is william miles is also an ancestor or Altair and Roshan, thus Basim is working with a great descendant of his former mentor lol
y'all La'Ahad means son/daughter of no one, it doesn't mean they're related
I just realized that Rosha ‘s last name is La’Ahad, Altiar’s ancestor?
Hi love your content to
Did you all notice what roshan's last name is? ITS LA'AHAD!
As in, Altair Ibn La'Ahad!
La'Ahad is the name of her father, she may be related to Altair but it's highly unlikely
She’s not related to Altair, Ibn or Bint La’Ahad means son or daughter of no one. It’s a name that they both gave themselves, Altair’s would be Ibn Umar since his father was Umar. Roshan’s is unknown since we never learn who her father is but it’s possible she wanted to forget which is why she took the name daughter of no one.
@@haydenwoodyard3624 You are wrong my dear ibn alhad or bin alhad are surnames and umar is the name of Altaïr's father.
@@Arthur_Pendragon237 No, surnames didn’t exist yet so they would call someone the son or daughter of someone to identify them as that person. Basim is the son of Is’haq so he is called Ibn Is’haq. Since Roshan doesn’t want to be associated with her past she calls her self the daughter of no one which in Arabic is translated to aibnat la’ahad.
@@haydenwoodyard3624How do I explain it to you so as not to sound rude, I am Arab and British and I have documents from medieval Islamic times and yes they had surnames and in the game you can see that and it is good
So is it like the ending to botw where once you finish it, it returns to Hyrule (or Baghdad in this case) and you can just free roam around and beat the final mission again?
My biggest question is why did it seem like Basim let Loki take over??? You would think he would fight back or resist like Evior did with Odin but it seems like Basim accepted this and let Loki take full control. And is Basim gone forever or is he in there somewhere still.
I could be wrong, but it seems less like Loki taking over and more like Basim and Loki becoming one, hence that shot of Basim and Nehal joining their black sand dust together.
After all, Basim and Loki are the same person just with 2 different lives/memories/experiences, right? Isn't that how being a sage work in this game universe?
Oversimplified as per my understanding
Djin scary. Nehal caring. Both are Loki's creation. Classic good cop bad cop.
*Djin haunts Basim*
Basim : I am so sick and tired of this Djin.
Nehal : I can get rid of that.
Basim: How?
Nehal : Let's merge to get rid of it
Basim: Okay!
Nehal : Aren't you gonna fight it?
Basim : Nope let's get rid of him
Nehal : Okay!
Thus Basim not fighting it like Eivor. Basim wants to get rid of this nightmare. So now he is merged with Loki's memories and Basim's memories. Ekindu senses this is not 100% Basim and then claws him.
Basim is still Basim but with additional memories of Loki. That's why he is still able to play off as a Hidden one and with all the skills.
@@alexanderthered5603 thats execly what happend. In valhalla he mentioned how His fight with Loki was short but intense and they got a mutual understanding.
Nial saying she can respect the brotherhood Shows Loki does side with them but only secondary to himself. Basim and Loki ar one. Loki is dead. Basim lives.
@@ameemrashaad2038 that and He does belive in the brotherhood.
The book taking place after this story even Shows why he does folow his own Plans he makes Sure to Not break the creed.
In a way he stays with them so that noone has to face what he faced
Shit ending
Surely the writers DO understand and ARE aware that "bin' la ahad" meant son of no one and hence was bestowed upon altair not because it was a surname but because he had no parents to take after, right? Or... was it just a little bit of the ol' key jiggling?
I have question Next History We Play which loki
A NEW WORLD AWAITS
So she leaves the order? Or at least this faction of the brotherhood since we eventually see her in England with Eivor for that one mission
You were thinking of Kassandra that Eivor was with in England.
Yes Roshan quits and does a solo flight now
@@devantemungin7060you also meet Roshan lol
Imagine generating this little hype and still disapoint people in the end.
Truly an Ubisoft moment
So in other words you guys ar the reason they cant tell good storys becaus nothing they Do is good
@@indedgames4359 what?
Unfortunately I don't have that power.
Ubisoft can't tell good stories because they don't hire talented people
@@indedgames4359ignore this guy he’s just a clown
What hype? People were shitting on this before it even released
The story was good. I think if this story is approached as more of a spiritual successor to 1, then it’s a tad more enjoyable. At least to me it was
The part after the dove didn’t load for me it was just a black screen
Ima be honest I did feel the excitement playing this assassin’s creed not to mention the hole wanted system threw me off
What’s the name of the ost?
Something More Than a Man
I'm confused, where was the boss fight?
😂😂😂
Roshan
@@deimosok2003 😅😅😅
Ibn La 'ahad? It's a mentor last name in AC 3 right?. And also in particular side quests you teach a young boy to do a leap of faith, and he was Haytham, who gave hidden blade to Eivor with Basim
Only the gameplay is good in this game, the cinematics are really very low, too compared to ACOrigins, even ACUnity had good graphics. 6/10
Just remember this was originally going too be a dlc for Valhalla
The game is devolving when Odyssey started
No that game Was great
Game hasn’t even released!! This is ridiculous man
perks on being a reviewer and thus having a duty to bring a review like "asap"
There’s nothing ridiculous. CZcamsr game influencers get this perk and it’s been like this for years. You must be a very young Gen Z

I supposed after they changed the dlc to a AAA game, the level system will completely be delete;like original assassin's creed
That whole conversation between Nehal and Basim just straight up didn't play for me. All it showed me was a black screen and some of the subtitles showed up at the bottom.
the game hasnt even come out yet 😂
Great ending
In your case it is, but for others... ehhh... no so much, at best, they were a mixed of pissed off and confused.
@@devantemungin7060well too bad for them.
Bro the full gameplay vid is not loading 😢
Same
Well, it was basically what the majority of people had an aching feeling about Mirage: basically, to them, it's another Valhalla but in ancient middle east format, and they were so, amped to hope for a "back to the classic AC gaming" only to be disappointed by play through the "same AC Origin, Odessey and Valhalla gameplay" that they had to stomach through since mid 2010s.
For me, I don't give a flying crap if the game is good or so-so (gameplay wise or story wise), I play for the enjoyment of the game. I don't know if others feel the same way as me but each one is entitled to their opinions and beliefs.
one word can describe this ending: Lame
You mean the ending we knew we would get based on valhalla
How tf can you call this "lame"? This ending was fckin wild.
The end is shit
these lame greek and norse mythology "gods" gets to every freaking francaise and i'm tired of them
Then don’t play assassins creed cause they’ve been involved since the very beginning
Mirage barely had any mythology, the jinni was a fitting representation of Loki's jailer who was a metaphorical monster and the ending was pure Isu content with almost no mythology filter
Wow that was a pretty shitty ending it reminded me of the ending from ac1
Well the ending needs to lead into Valhalla
Atleast back in assassin's creed 1 I didn't feel as though my soul was scooped out, leaving me a hollowed shell of a man forever doomed to ponder upon the very needle which sowed the fabric of my existence thus rendering it the root of my eternal despair and indefinite damnation. Truly, is this a point in my life.
Waste of time and money!! 👎🏻
they were still doing decent on the story up until they did all this Norse god family drama bullshit between loki and odin and who ever the fuck else god they mentioned in Valhalla. This reincarnation stuff is not it. Its my fault for still buying these games smh. Disappointment after disappointment. Like what even is lokis story and plan for the future ?
dissapointing ass game. Can't believe I waited a year only for them to take the lore deeper down the drain
The lore and story is better than ever
Tbh mirage > origins and Valhalla and oddesy
This is why i stop buying AC games! Nothing but fillers, disappointing ending
Lol, all that hype and for what? Horrible fighting mechanics, horrible story, just a copy and paste game. Again
? No. Ther had to Do alot of Hard work to make it work.
How is the story horrible. Also the fight mechanics are more interactive than any ezio game just holding one button and countering every gaurd...which all attack one at a time lol
