Basim is trying to find his children in the Modern Day.
But his children consists of a wolf, a large snake, and someone who oversees Hell.
He’s got his work cut out for him.
Sounds easy enough- 🥲
Tbf, from what I can recall, his children were also other Isu. What eivor saw in the “Asgard” sequence was a memory that was shifted to look like what he perceived to be Asgard, when in reality, it didn’t look anything like that.
A Womanizer , A Politician and someone who heads the DMV.
Uhh... we got a wolf of the wall street, a reptilian zucc, and my headmaster

Ezio's family theme
Isnt it AC Odyssey's main theme?
@@EternalDavesDream
Ezio’s Family was composed for ACII and almost every AC game since has a remake or themed version of the original song
@PixelsNBeatsYT not really noo. They only started reusing this them with AC origins going forward.
I havnt even played this one yet the nostalgia hits when he mentions the solar flare
so basim gave william his dna so william could experience the events of mirage
I decided to play mirage before Valhalla because i found out basim was in this and mirage was the start of his story. This is a complete mindf*ck and I'm glad i played mirage first
I played valhalla first because i didnt thought i could afford mirage hahaha now i played both and understand both games where they both linked with eachother
Thats what I'm trying to do. Just finished Mirage, plan to buy Valhalla tomorrow
Did Valhalla first but completed the Asgard storyline at first... Kinda gives it away so I wonder how the experience would be with mirage then Valhalla
Basim became Loki by merging with his memories
Odin tried to take over Eivor. But they eventually learned to co-exist with each other instead of fighting and became just like Yugi and Atem😮 😢 wow🎉 And even after learning that Odin was never truly a god, She still calls him "All Father"
Both are most powerful in ac
It's all paganism, whoever you want to worship you're allowed
compared to Eivor, Odin was a god
there's no fucking way you used Yu-Gi-Oh as a comparison
Touch grass
eivor was the only ac protagonist we were playing who was a sage
You can get secret cutscene, you just need to sit on the wooden bench and eivor will be sitting to the next bench and staring basim face to face
If only Basim had been munching on a screaming child, because I just can't quite tell if he is evil or not. The ridiculous moustache-twirling lines don't give it away.
He is kinda neutral, basim/Loki can do both good and evil act
By the end of the game I didn't like basim at all and don't trust him. Played mirage (after buying it on discount) which was decent, but I still don't like that he "killed" Layla.

Everyone pretty much hates this game publicly but this game is apparently Ubisofts most successful game monetarily. I wonder if the people who say they hate this game secretly love it but are afraid to admit it😂
I always wondered that. Lot of people say that they miss, or this game is going to sell well and yet...
Nah, it's just a bad game. Haven't you heard about Pokemon's games?
@@snowfreezee_4724 idk man, the Pokémon games just kinda pump out a bunch of different games at the same time, wasn’t the most recent like two games in the same week so that makes sense they can make up that money. But this one is just reaching new heights like every dlc and personally I think it’s a good game, just not the true essence of AC, but for just a Viking game this is it and I think that’s why people keep getting it cause they’re not looking at it as an assassins creed game but a fun Viking game.
They've been launching a lot of dlc's. The most of any Assassin's Creed game. Cramped more lore, easter eggs and pop culture on any game that I could imagine. It's not a good Assassin's Creed game, but it's fun. And for people that are obsessed with Norse mythology, it's a must. Personally, I loved AC Origins, for me it was perfect. This one, it's not my type

I've played through all the assassin creed games and all the dlc for each game. Fantastic game, there will be no more like it.! :((((((
There are a lot better games out there. Cool that you have massive love for them. I used to.
I don’t know if anyone else feels like basim gives off an evil Bond villain vibe? 😂
Basim is a natural badass.
The "You are in for quite a ride Mr. Miles." Is 100% something I'd expect a bond villain to say.
His actor played a bond like villian in a spy episode of the flash oddly enough.
5:36 this look like it is straight out of Far Cry 5, where is our Father, Joseph Seed
I loved this game. I put like 180 hours into it. The roleplay and kingmaking and breaking was awesome. I'm so excited for Mirage and to play as Basim to learn his past.
have ya finished, came to this after finishing, i got burnt out on valhalla on the last raven i needed to take, i enjoyed mirage a lot more
@@jackjoy9390how its ass
@@jackjoy9390p😊😊😅
@@jackjoy9390 i liked Valhalla more than mirage but im kind of biased to the Viking rpg that Valhalla was. Mirage felt repetitive with no extra features that ACV had like random boss fights on those beast animals, raids, building your settlement and longer fights at the end of story lines. I guess that's the feel ubisoft wanted with mirage though, all stealth hidden blade kills with not much focus on combat which Valhalla had.
I really enjoyed the game too put over 180hrs into but ultimately I'm disappointed I always felt like I was waiting for something happen like it was mostly a snooze fest story wise and same for the "battles" I wish we could've had big epic battles like in the trailers if this game just went a little harder it would be the best
I can not wait for the next assassin creed game
I loved the direction that they took for this game and i will be playing this game over and over agin its way better then call of duty these days
Bro watching mirage and now watching this hits different
16 years...16 years of cliff hangers when talking about the Isu. And 2 years waiting on this conclusion ....I'm losing faith in this franchise. And it hurts to say that, truly.
Dude, it's an ongoing franchise. The ending you want was when Desmond died everything else has been with different characters
We will play as William miles who well enter the animus and experience Basims life. That's the key to saving the world I guess.
Its a ongoing series with no end as its about conspiracy theorys etc.
That Was the cire of the series
Assassin's creed died a long time ago, origins and anything after were just trash rpg games using the assassins creed name
@@shaanysully9908exactly after origins its shit not ac game.
Basim really seen so much that a thousand year culture shock don't affect him?
Well to be fair he was trapped in that Yggdrasill machine for a very long time, and during that time he had access to the radio waves-like webs that surround the world, which theoretically gave him the ability to witness pretty much everything that has transpired from the moment he was connected to that machine, to the moment he got free
@@roogoculus2885 that and the fact that he might also had a glimpse in his previous life as Loki

Just finished & i love it ! definitely super long but it was good either way.
Idc what people say, this one of my most favorite games of all time. It’s good.
It's really good...fans always say the new games sucks because it's not the same like the old ones...I played all of them and every game has it's own story and it is all connected still...there is so much story to tell throughout the history of the lore

would Eivor successfully break into Area 51 ?
I think Basim would.
I see people crying about the game but yet I respect it.
Valhalla became my favorite AC of all time, and I've been playing since the first game. Eivor is an excellent character. All the elements in the game are amazing, the mechanics as well.
The squirrel is a neat little easter egg ngl...
William miles is that desmond father

I like it for exploring, I've done the story twice.
Gives me goosebumps knowing that this game could be a work that has some truth to it through the ages......my fellow solar observers know what I'm saying
Would love to know the name of eivor's hairstyle. My character need a new hairstyle
I guess I never actually got to the end after 140 hrs of gameplay then. Didn’t know this scene existed
168 hours here and didn't get to that either, you need to finish all the main stories in England, Asgard and Jotunheim and get Ravensthorpe to level 6 to get to this memories as far as I know.
@@szczygiel17You also need to kill everyone in order of ancients, and you only need level 5 Ravensthorpe
@@szczygiel17I did all that and even I didn't see this scene.
Somebody make sense of this to me, is basim a good guy, bad guy or both because it isnt clear. He fought eivor and now is in modern day where he becomes an assassin under william miles i mean yes he always was assassin
This is what I’m trying to figure out as well, he’s the protagonist in the upcoming assassins creed mirage. He’s given eivor trouble yet calls him friend here, unless he was being sarcastic.
@@jetzx100 He couldn't have twirled his mustache any more than he did - clearly a villain, and you see Basim/Loki sneaking into the Isu world-tree area and killing people to do so, after Odin ordered him kept out.
As far as I can say, Basim wants to meet the Mentor. He believes that the mentor helps him find his children back unlike Havi, Eivor etc... But he also wants to kill William Miles
Basim/Loki is neither Good or Evil,he can do evil act but can also do Good that how they are, in Norse mythology Loki isn't truly portrayed as an evil God, he just like what his "God title" mean he Is a mischievous being not evil
They need to work to make those hugs more realistic like we would do in real life.
Can someone please tell me what Basim ist going to do next?? Is this the end of his story in the modern day??
Well we don't know yet 🤷
Eivor could have died due to a wolf because he or she is a clone of’ve Odin and we know how Odin died by fernir or eivor died from natural causes, eivor must have had a family either with (if eivor is a he) native Vinland woman, a Nordic woman or radvi but if eivor is a woman then it would be a native Vinland man, or a Nordic man
See I don’t think fenrir was actually a wolf (in the ac universe that is)
I very much enjoyed Valhalla.
Always have a secret
to see this edning, do i have to buy the season pass? finish also dawn of ragnarok?
Not really, ragnarok just let's you play more in depth as Odin post-Ragnarok.
You think than William will Come with us as an ancestor of him in Mirage?
So your forgetting that William Is Desmond father? Because we already played and seen all of them: Altair,Darim (not playable),Giovanni (not playable),Ezio,Edward,Haytham and Connor.
The only possibility Is Darim because of the legendary assassin Who killed Genghis Khan
@@JinKolmak_TaKo too bad this isnt historicaly accurate and is it really canon, they never feature Genghis in AC
Maybe a rift will happen in Mirage...Maybe a secret Ezio memory in Rome. You know...Like Altair in AC2...That would be cool if we play as Williams

Definitely not alone. Valhalla was a mindnumblingly boring grind. I barely made it through the base game, and I figured out before leaving Norway that all the side content and activities were to be avoided and skipped. I made it maybe an hour or 2 into the Druid DLC before remembering when I loathed the game. Never touched the Siege of Paris or Ragnarok DLCs. Kinda want to watch the CZcams movie version of Siege of Paris for the story, but I can't summon the willpower to suffer through any more of Valhalla's gameplay.
@@Bateluer Fr tryna get power in this game through any sort of quests is the most irritating nonsense I’ve ever experienced in an Ubisoft game, Almost had the same issue with odyssey, they really need to kill the whole RPG thing, unless they overhaul origins style of gameplay.
@@JH-is1zo I actually liked Odyssey and its RPG approach to quest design. There was till room for improvement, but Odyssey's quests were far better than Valhalla's 'world events' or Mirage's Contracts. Either double down and commit to the RPG formula, investing in quality writers, or focus on the linear, action/stealth focused design. Pick one. Trying to do both makes the product mediocre and unappealing to both aspects of the customer base.
@@Bateluer I think they should do both, but start hiring better quality writers and spend more on animation
@@BateluerI think they should focus more on the second one, Assassin's Creed is about playing a part in history, a one-way street, it didn't need alternative story dialogue choices and consequences with branching paths, just a stable sequence of events with a lot of freedom in level design as the end result never changes, it all gets done to reach the ending

How tf is evoir switching from male to female bruh. In the beginning it’s a dude and towards the end Odin is explaining to a female Evoir. Where tf is the consistency?
Because Evior is canonically female, Ubisoft’s book but I don’t care because Eivor could easily be unisex name , so my first play through, I chose male Eivor so they are Canonically Male Eivor to me. To be honest, it was crappy Move, by Ubisoft not to have both Odin and Male Eivor standing beside each other for the immersion’s sake for people who chose Mayo, Eivor
Im going to miss this game
Wish it wasnt over yet
100 hours is not enough?

Eivor is the only assassin that is buff
How can Basim operate a computer after hibernating for several hundred years?
Loki Is an isu who have very advanced knowledge in technology than humans does,Basim and Loki are one they share same memories so using a computer is a piece of cake
I love this game as a vikings tale. Hate it to the core as an assassins creed title.
Eivor looks like Elton John
This game is decent. Sadly not many "fans" understand that Assassin's Creed is about present day assassins learning thru old assassins, not the other way around.
Also Ubisoft shouldve just publish this under different name but sharing the same universe if they want to implement RPG.
This is a unique case of both the company and the fans being dumb as brick.
Yeah this shouldnt have taken the mantle of AC its like a spin-off but im not insulting it, just Vikings and the Isu stuff

Fans understand that and that's exactly why we hate this 🤔
How is Basim alive in modern times tf??? Played Valhalla a little but not enough to know this
He got a staff of Hermes from layla.
So basim turned out to be the reincarnation of Loki, at the end of the game, Basim attacks eivor in Ygdrassil, and ultimately traps basim in an ISU simulation device. In the present, Layla discovers the Ygdrassil device out of control, Hella radiation, staff is keeping her safe, she eventually gets attached to the Ygdrassil device which causes her to drop the staff, which lands and touches basims skin, isu artifact on Isu flesh = reincarnation. And it turned out it was his plan all along.
U have to play AC Odyssey to understand how he returned
So now I finally can see the true main character is female Eivor not the male. Because at the last scene, we can see Odin as male Eivor and Eivor is female.

Bruh 💀 basin is the only good thing about this game
Love the gameplay but the ending is horrible, the bad ending feels more natural and realistic compared to the good ending. Basim living and talking shit to Eivor skeleton followed by using him to go back into the animus feels horrendous to many people me included. This game doesn’t know what it wants. At first I love the flexibility and the store option to forget its historical accuracy because if u wanted to play assassin just go stealth archer etc but if u want to go brute viking u can also! If u want to go iron man, horizon zero dawn the choice is yours! But the ending barely makes a difference, most choices in the game also makes no difference, sometimes its magic other times is mushrooms? Typical loyal to clan leader MC and Basim is so wrong, I have to avoid doing that quest if I wish to explore/come back to play ACV once in a while without Basim.
This game is frightening with its enormity 😂 if you work it could make you company for 10 years 🤣... and then I have AC 2
Haven't been following this series for a few games already, so is Basim a cunning asshole disguising his intents and manipulating the modern day Assassins into accomplishing his own agenda (from his past life) or what? Also, why would he not resurrect with his finger restored?
He’s not resurrected. He was placed in a Isu machine that kept him alive for thousands of years.
@@zack_0psgaming150 But I thought Layla and Desmond (the Reader) discussed about Layla's body would die while her consciousness is in the machine? Sounds similar to Subject 16 except 16 lost his body. So Wouldn't Basim and Layla be on the same boat......?
@@stormmeansnowork The staff works like a life support. It connects with you and uses recording of your DNA to basically refresh your body to the point in time when it recorded your DNA, but it can only sustain one person. When Basim's body was placed on top of it, its programing (probably Loki's doing) bonded the staff with him and restored his body, but that broke its bond with Layla and exposed her to a lethal dose of radiation.
@@RaRmAn Yes but shouldn't the radiation killed Basim many centuries ago leaving behind nothing, if Layla was killed almost instantly? Also should the restoration function restore the missing finger? This is what I feel unclear ever since I watched the scene
@@stormmeansnowork There was no radiation until Desmond activated that device in AC3. Basim's body was dead it was decomposing when the staff repaired it. The catch is that they can only repair the body, in Brutus' case his body was alive but it was empty, because it can't bring back the consciousness.
