- This was a 3,200 mile motorcycle tour from Missouri to northern Utah, twisting through Utah's mountains for several days and then back to Missouri from southern Utah in autumn 2021.

Be thankful you did not hit a big thunderstorm through Wyoming. It can flat stop you in your tracks.
No kidding--it can always get worse. On the way back from this trip in northern AZ and southern CO, I ran into a crazy thunderstorm that threw hail at me and there was nowhere to get out of it. Later that day (I rode through rain all day) I went up a mountain and got snowed on pretty significantly at the top--I wasn't a big fan!

Interesting video. I was impressed at how much control you appeared to have in the wind. Living in south-central Kansas, I have often complained that I have to ride for hours to find interesting and challenging riding. But I have grown more appreciative of my state's beauty, and more comfortable riding in wind. Maybe I'm ready for Wyoming.
Don't get me wrong, it was pretty scary at times. As you'll see when I get the return trip posted, the north winds I experienced in KS on the way back was almost enough to make me spend the night somewhere. I grew up on the prairie as well and I'm with you--there is a lot to appreciate. Others have told me they've never had problems with wind going across Wyoming so maybe I'm just not living right...😁
