🇬🇧that ride from Redlodge is simply AWESOME down to Cookecity thru Yellowstone head for Jackson then you will come to a scene you will never forget The Grand Teton Mountains I’ll be back
"My contact with people has been very minimal..." How much healthier as individuals and society we would be if we could all have a big, regular dose of that!!
So true!
And so powerful to get in contact with yourself in the process. The beauty of solo travel which Sterling captures so well here.
Try living in NYC and the party in power is obsessed with a "densify" mantra as they're overdeveloping everywhere. We used to get a break from all that with various areas having different population densities but oh well now.
I've been on Beartooth pass numerous times, but the drone footage you did is just beautiful!!!. What a great journey you're on...Enjoy!!
Love the music choice, it captures the mood I would associate with a ride like this.
When it comes to motorcycle travel vids. Youre the Boss. Thanks I enjoy your videos. South Africa
I've always wanted to go traveling alone by myself I find it very relaxing ang you're away from hectic environment that sometimes keeps you irritated
Agree this is great viewing from here in U.K. love to do this tour. Opportunity to set up guided tours I think.
Sweet DT-250, and hell yeah - good coffee out in nature, anytime of day = 🤗🤗🤗, imo. I'm really enjoying this trip - thanks for taking the time to get the great footage. Very inspiring 🤙🇺🇸🦅🍕🍻
Amazing!, the way you speak and explaining the situation in front of camera, and how you take a cinematic footage alone.
you should get more subscriber sir! and to be honest, you just inspired me to do a trip with my small bike
It has been one of the best episodes love it awesone life im jealous
Oh my goodness! So great! Some of the best footage yet!!! The drone shots on Beartooth are perfect. The soundtrack is fitting & very cinematic. Excellent work sir. Then finish with some whiskey, love it(-: Peace
Great video shot parking next to the vintage 1971 Yamaha 250cc DT1 Enduro, I was surprised to see one of those still on the road.
Red Lodge!! OMG. What a beautiful city. Use ski race at Red Lodge back in the 70's.
One of the best roadtrip series on the YT🏍💨💨👏🏼
Officer Rob sent me ! Your a good film maker !
This has been a very good series, really enjoyed it, can’t wait to get on the bike and start exploring again 👍
Inspirational!
I love traveling solo, make's me want to go traveling again!!!
I just did Beartooth Pass in September and it was definitely the highlight of my trip. It’s just stunning and it evoked deep emotions that moved through me as I traversed this beautiful pass.
Awesome ride and drone capturing.
I loved backroad with Charles Kuralt , he interacted with the locals in remote towns and got to know the area and its stories
Indeed, I recall his series very fondly it was always very inspired by his simple storytelling
5:00 min into vid, "all in a days work" Few know the amount of work involved in editing, downloading and the less than glamorous part of what you do. I hope people share this and get your subscriber count where it deserve to be. Motorcyclist or not, the scenery is worth watching.
Fantastic, brilliant videography from episode 1 forward. Well done.
Makes me happy every time I get to stop what I'm doing and watch another episode of this series. I so love your style of travel, Sterling, and your aesthetic rendering of the Beartooth Pass is the best I've seen. The sequence of drone footage on the hairpins is a visual work of art that feels something like abstract impressionism. Awesome work!
I was inspired by the beauty of the Beartooth!
Wife and I + kids stayed in Red Lodge back in 2004. Rode our bike and kids drove the car so we could all have one experience. Being from N. Calif it was a fantastic route and great place
to stay. Especially enjoyed the fact that Red Lodge does not allow fast food like McD or Taco smell. Road Beartooth Pass and enjoyed one of the best rides in my 60 years!
Awesome! It's a really magnificent ride!
My best friend moved from Florida to Wyoming a few years back. He asked me several times when I was coming out to visit. Last year he said "I've got both bikes running" and I was on a plane two weeks later. We rode his 96' road king and 98' springer from his place in Sheridan over the Big Horns, across the desert and over Bear Tooth.
I've ridden everywhere in the East US, parts of Europe, Colorado and Arizona. Wyoming/Montana was possibly the best ride of my life. Didn't think I'd like the Springer but found it to be a good ride that performed admirably. No matter what you ride just get out and ride.
Thanks for sharing this excellent video.
Love Pendleton Whiskey…..great mosquito repellent 😎
Sterling, your videos are epic. Thank you for sharing.
You are keeping me sane and inspired! I have been riding since 1962 when I was 18. I have been recovering from two major back surgeries and havent ridden for two months and its killing me. I can so relate to you and I prefer the solo journeys like your the most.
Thank you Sir!!!!!!!!!
Outstanding video footage especially the drone. Well done.👍
2:36 That's an interesting (and I'm still racking my brain about the) edit of the sky. :)
9:10 Oh my gosh. All those mosquitos! I would hate that so much. I guess I'm going to have to take a Bic lighter and some Aquanet hairspray; flamethrower time! xD
As far as pavement goes.. Chief Joseph Highway is a must do also.. Near Red Lodge.
I can't say it any better than some of the comments already. Your series motivates me continuously. My wife finally sat down and watched this video now she gets to see what I see in a much more beautiful way from your lens.
Officer Rob from CZcams talked about your channel! I don't have a motorcycle but he said your channel is well worth it! I just subscribed to you!
Your are living my dream brother , really appreciate the footage , it's amazing , God bless and stay safe
Beautiful roads to the pass :)
Wonderful series and another wonderful segment! I could watch these all day.
This gives me chills!! Love the content man. Makes me reminisce my trip to Yellowstone
Saludos desde Colombia 🇨🇴✌️
great chapter. the drone shots - fabulous. stay safe. ~. JDS/CT
As usual Sterling, a very well made video. I’m looking forward to retracing this path and visit in Bisbee. My path will start in Alberta Canada so it’ll be a little longer but still an epic trip I’m suspecting.
I have ridden Beartooth Pass 4 times over the past 10 years. The 3rd time I rode it they were still doing snow removal. Since it was Sunday the snow crew had a day off. The gate was closed the first week of June. But since my friend had came from Texas to ride the pass we decided to go around the gate. We were not the only ones to do this. Coming from the west headed east we made it past the lake. We wore able to take photos with our adventure bikes with the snow banks about 10 -15 feet tall. My friend has never got to come down the east side due to the snow. A great reason for me to plan Trip 5.
When do you suggest going so its not as cold? Or what weather did you get in June?
Been to Montana a couple of times, but missed this jewel. Great, now I've got a good excuse to go back.
Can’t say enough about the incredible videography being presented throughout this series. The scenics from this episode are nothing short of breathtaking!
I find myself watching 2 or three episodes at a time and make myself stop because I don’t want it to be over too soon! (Even though CZcams sent me the last three in the series before I sought out the whole kaboodle…I will be rewatching those…😎)
Thanks, that's great to hear! Enjoy the series.
I use a InReach mini. Works great! No worries about calling for help.
Amazing scenery!
Been to some of the spots,,thanks for the memories!
Quality , Quality , Quality , content
Really appreciate you sharing your experiences Sterling.
Simply amazing. Thank you for charing. Great work
Curious the majestic, sweeping scenery coincided with majestic, sweeping music! Nice!

Congratulations on your trip series. Very realistic and sincere, plus great images !
Yet another great video! Amazing view from the top of the mountain.
Amazing place. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
What a wonderful ride sir...woo👌
As a Montanan living in Bozeman, I just loved seeing your filming of some of my beloved local places and so happy that you got to experience them as part of your journey!
Right on Jimmy! You live in a beautiful place and I can’t wait to get back up there again
Wow! Nice episode! Gorgeous scenery, nice storytelling. Thank you so much.
Hey, Sterling...
My brother in law is an avid dual sport rider, and he shared one of your videos from this epic trip! It’s very enjoyable watching your excellent videography, story telling and overview of the places you’re visiting. I was so stoked to see your footage of the Beartooth Hiway, as it’s something that’s been in mind to do for a LONG time. This seals the deal. As soon as I can get it all together, I’ll make this trip.
Good luck! You will enjoy that one for sure!
I'd just go with instant coffee ☕
Wow! I just found your channel. You make great quality and entertaining videos - a beautiful talent. I’m really enjoying them. As a new subscriber, I will be going back to watch all your videos that I missed. I started looking at motorcycle camping and adventure videos because I just bought a Ural and plan to look for remote property in northern Montana or Idaho. I will also look in Canada (dual citizenship) if necessary. I’m so glad I found you and thanks - from Hells Canyon.
Stunning!
This has been a joy to watch looking forward to more vids.
Very beautiful and interesting footage, You show that it’s possible to make a first class trip on a budget!. Your drone shots was awesome
and your video was very interesting. I didn’t know that you got so high mountain passes in your country.👍❤️🇩🇰
I probably averaged about US$50 per day for food gas and lodging. About $1500 total for the whole month.
@@SterlingNoren I am sure it was worth the money, we only lives one.👍❤️🇩🇰
Brilliant video keep em coming
Wonderful video. Will be riding this summer 2021 on my new Goldwing on my way to the Black Hills.
Awesome. This is my backyard. Living in billings, MT. This is almost an every weekend journey to the top. Thanks for posting.
Great job on all your video's. The footage is fantastic.
I missed the twig stove! Lol.
Another great video.
Thanks!!
Simple living, love it 🙏🏻
You the man!! Another great video!!
Rode Beartooth pass twice, first time 2 years ago and just this past June. It’s so amazing so far my favorite scenic ride. Only been riding two years and learning as I go, I’ve gone on three long distance trips with friends but my favorite riding is solo this past June from Texas to Montana and back with stops thru New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming.
Your drone footage is simply beautiful what a perspective! I don’t know how that thing goes up and gets back to you from so far away very cool!
Hi Joaquin, can you share your knowledge about the weather in Beartooth pass, I am planning on passing through it first weeks of June. When were you there?
@@DanielTroconisC I was there June 2020 the weather was warm most of the way there but got pretty cold and windy the closer you got to summit of the pass. Definitely not shorts and T-Shirt weather. There was still snow on the ground. But it’s a fantastic ride don’t miss it.
Amazing footage in the Beartooth Pass area!! Glad you're not in a rush and able to get such great drone footage. That final clip with the mosquitoes is pretty darn amazing as well.....LOL
Awesome footage 👍💯
Amazing choice of music
The one thing that keeps me from "camping" in MT or WY is the fact that it's Grizzly Country. I've been through there twice and each time stayed in Cooke City, then road Bear Tooth and into Red Lodge. Locals in Cooke City warned me about the bears and referenced a mauling, 3-4 years ago now, where a woman was mauled, in her tent, in a well known camp ground. No Thank you. Not without an appropriate firearm and light sleeping dog. I stayed at the Motel 8. Nice place and safe. But I envy you guys that can do this with no concern.
Man, do I absolutely LOVE your videos and your channel! Keep up the great work! You have inspired me to plan a trip.
This went from a motorcycle trip to a cooking show lol.
Excellent video.
Great vid dude , thanx.
I haven't done Beartooth on my dual sport yet, but at some point, I'll definitely make my way out there on the bike. It is my favorite drive in all of America, so it most definitely needs to be done on the motorcycle! Great content, Sterling! I'm very much enjoying this series and it's neat to live vicariously though you since I only just started riding dual sport this August. Thankfully, I live in an amazing place (Southern Utah), but the I'll have to scratch the itch of venturing out much further at some point in the near future. Looking forward to some more of your adventures, dude.. Cheers!
You live in one of the best parts of the country for adventure riding. Good luck on your travels!
Great videos….this is better than any Netflix series!
production and post very well done!
Man this is good, like movie
Great content, officer Rob sent me here.
Sweet video.
I take a nap first to rest my eyes, then brew the coffee before heading back out.
You did some excellent editing in this vedio. 👌
I used to ride up to this area as often as possible from my home in Kansas. I love Red Lodge and always tried to stay there and then go up over Beartooth Pass and stop at that restaurant In West Yellowstone, where they used to have the most wonderful pies. I think the first time of riding there was 1982, and some of my best riding memories are right where you are standing. I`m envious!
coffee is good anytime!!!!!
A lifelong motorcyclist, I'm really enjoying this channel. One thousand plus 'likes' and three 'thumbs down.' Clearly, that trio of viewers zigged when they meant to zag? and it's always a good cup of coffee time. Lovely presentation, Sterling.
Best nice road view
Try out the 'inverted' aeropress brew style next time... even better cuppa coffee ! 👌
Whiskey is easier to pack than beer. ;-)
Have to echo the other comments - fantastic camera work, interesting content. Nice work!
This video is stupendous! Subscribed!
Welcome!
