- Dec. 19, a junk hauler lost a piece of furniture at the canopener. The guy came back and removed it. No biggie :) Enjoy the video ... we're counting this as "crash" 152.

What is missing is clarity that one of the vehicles stuck behind the red lights (or running a red light) IS actually overheight. Maybe add ("Overheight vehicle detected" with flashing amber lights)

With the amount of people that run that light instead of stopping, and hit the bridge. It should be changed to that. Because a good driver, is a patient driver, you don't speed up when a yellow light pops up, you slow down and prepare to stop.

To be fair, this is the first truck I've seen so far in the videos I've watched that was actually under the height limit. Worst that was done was damage to furniture and only one piece, so it's not terrible overall.

However, the piece of furniture that fell off could have easily injured or killed the driver behind him, so he’s very lucky they were able to stop in time.

On the university campus in my city is an 11'8 bridge. The train company (Norfolk Southern) refused to raise the bridge so the city lowered the road as low as possible leaving clearance for sewers and water that crossed nearby. Now the underpass floods when it rains due to poor drainage caused by the road being so low and not enough room to add a drain. We have enough signage that rarely if ever does someone plow into the bridge... Vehicles that tall have no reason to be down that way anyways, but it does happen from time to time.
At that moment when the guy moved the couch, I can just imagine Wadzee saying "Thank you this person, you're an absolute legend."
As he approached the bridge, he said: Well, sofa so good.

To be a truck driver, in the UK, not only do you have to do your HGV licence test, but you have to do a competency test as well, which goes into things a little more detail. I whole heartedly welcome it. The harder driving tests are the better for our kids' safety... right?
Well, this truck driver, not only disregards how tall his rig is, (which he should know off by heart), but even when the sign tells him he's over height, some next level of stupid kicks in and his brain seems to have packed up and jumped out of his ear moments before approaching the bridge. Amazing, simply amazing.
