that so funny or even strange. In Germany its a kind of oppostive, especially in the higher education, like Gymnasium and University. Most guys look like Noel before he started training (even skinnier) and when a big guy joins the class its always "special"

When he said he didn't have the shirt anymore, I got kinda sad, but when he said "I outgrew it", I couldn't stop laughing. It suddenly made sense and I'm so glad to hear he passed it on to inspire someone else.
Most inspiring thing about this video is knowing that Noel didn’t start till he was 21, gives hope to all the people in their late teens and early 20s who think it’s too late or see others ahead of them at the same age because they started younger and get discouraged.

@@Estocolmo97 Noel is juiced, without a doubt. Anyone with eyes and any experience in lifting knows that. But you can absolutely make insane changes w/o the juice.
This also applies to weight loss. Targeting a specific shirt or outfit that used to fit or want to fit in is great motivation to keep going because you can see how it fits differently over time. It's a great progress marker!

To be fair, I’ve never met a gym head anywhere close to his size that has ever fit the stereotypes. The only ones I’ve ever met who fit the stereotype are typically the smaller guys who are just barely above the average build, if above at all. Even then, a lot of them are still really nice and want to help

Meanwhile here's me, the biggest I've been, weighing 164 kilos at the start of this year, morbidly obese, used to wear 8 XL, but now I'm already down to 6 XL. I want to go down to 115 at least, and I know I can do it through clean eating and daily exercise, no matter how much it hurts.

I was majorly bullied in school cause of my height. I was also the smallest. I started getting into the gym when I was 16. I wasn’t even 100lbs yet and I wore small. The gym started to become a therapy session to me the more I went. Helped my anger and helped me sleep at night. Also helps with my work cause I deliver furniture. I went from small to large. Im 5”2 and I now weigh 155 and I’m 26. My max is now 255 but when I started I could be barely do the bar. I do it for me.

Thanks for making the content you make, been skinny all my life (currently 21, 140lbs ) and I've started back into working out and going back to the gym due to watching a lot of the content you make. First time seeing this video and its wild to me that you started around the age I am starting at now, also a huge motivation! I assumed that Noel had been going hard since high school, but to hear that he really started at the age of 21, just a year younger than me, is encouraging. I was the skinny kid in high school, and when I saw my senior picture, looking like a skeleton wearing a human suit, I hit the gym. 140 to 230 and still pushing!

This is what i love in the gyms. Everyone can find their motivation. Even though i'm not a bodybuilder, i'd consider myself an amateur powerlifter, so i care less about my look, and more about my strenght, but the hunger is the same. And you really are a good motivator! Thanks for the things i've learnt from you so far💪

Really motivating to hear a guy your size say you only started at 21. I'm 21 and have just started lifting myself, I was really worried it was too late for me to get into body-building coz I couldn't start as a teenager but this has really refueled my motivation.

I used to be SUPER skinny. 6’3 and 170 pounds in a large and even some times a medium… BUT now I’m in Double X and weighing in at 245 - and a natty. I was also bullied throughout my childhood but I started at 24 on and off it has been six months I'm training everyday getting better mentally and physically
I take pictures every friday after a week of workout and I love being able to see my body change and evolve and it really keeps me going

Once one starts their fitness journey they don't have high expectations of what they will achieve, and when they achieve the physique they always dreamed of as a young child, they realize that they are not satisfied and strive for more. Thank you for your inspiration. Since I jumped into sport seriously, I found the right motivation to hit the gym and improve even more. Everytime I go to the gym now I think about the next competition and I feel the need to work my ass off and keep training, I don't want to go there and think "I should have trained more".

I have a XXL shirt of my own I want to one day fit into. I was recently diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in the last year and it has been tremendously hard to put on the weight as well as muscle. But I use the shirt as Noel did and I'm slowly but surely getting there!
Love your work Noel, truely an inspiration to keep going to not to stop! I was also regarded as the "small, weak" kid in HS so this just motivates me more to one day fit into that shirt. As nobody thought I would be able to.

@@sbarter this is just my personal experience and I know that the older you are the harder it is to actually build muscle and keep it on. Less is more isn't the most ideal life style/quote to live by imo, as you will miss out on so much in life living with that mentality !!

Your story sounds a lot like mine except when a guy started hitting on my girl at the bar she politely replied she was “taken” and gripped my forearm really tightly. That single act gave me the motivation to become bigger and 35kgs later I ended up marrying that fine young lady!

Honestly everyone is gonna say this and it sounds boring, but please focus on tried and tested compound movements as a beginner. Squat, Bench, Deadlift, Shoulder Press, Pull Up/ Lat Pull down, Rows. Nail the form on these lifts and gradually increase your weight.
Once your comfortable with this and can handle decent weight you can break your workout down into push, pull, legs or some other split. Don’t get lured into fancy isolation exercises or dumb supersets, just nail the basics and you’ll grow.
But if you wanna know a good split here is what I’ve done for the last couple years, some mix of this, usually i do chest & tris, back & bis, legs, shoulders & tris/bis & forearms:
chest:
flat press 4 sets
incline 15-30 degree press 4
cable cross and/or pec deck (last set dropset) 4
triceps:
skullcrusher behind the head 4 (superset into close bench 4)
vertical dip 4
tricep pulldown (rope and/or bar) 4
back:
lat pull down 4
conventional deadlift 4
chest supported row 4 (any row)
close neutral grip seated row 4
biceps:
standing barbell curls ez bar 4 (some cheating)
pronated to supinated db curl 4
any machine curls 4 (curl machine/cable curl)
leg 1 (bum):
sumo deadlift 4
squat 4
ham curls 4
bad girl / hip thrust 4
leg 2 (quad):
sumo deadlift 4
leg press quad focus 4
leg extension 4
calfs 4
shoulders:
machine overhead press 4
front raise 3
side laterals 3
reverse cable cross 3
face pulls 3s 12-15r

You know my dad was in a xl and more at a time and he has this grey Adidas tank top he gave me and so now hearing this inspires me to fit it, I'm in a men's medium, and I want to see if I can make it into that, I've been lifting for a couple of years now and have seen some progress so I'm gonna keep at it and reach my new goal, thanks Noel💯
