Noel Deyzel has been blowing up in every corner of the web lately... but is his actual workout and nutrition advice legit? Several CZcamsrs have been making videos about him as of late - search "Philion Noel Deyzel" or "Noel Deyzel Philion" for one of the most viewed ones (Noel Deyzel is the NOT NATTY "Daddy"). "Greg Doucette Noel Deyzel" would be another (Noel Deyzel || MY THOUGHTS - Did Philion Get it Right?). Geoffrey Verity Scofield also did a great breakdown with his thoughts on the subject (NO Philion, Noel Deyzel Is EXACTLY What the Fitness Industry Needs). Noel is currently raking in over 15,000 subscribers a day so it's no surprise that he's been receiving a lot of attention. Today I'll be playing some clips of his content and giving my reaction to the information. I think some of Noel Deyzel's youtube content is very good while some of it is not quite as accurate in terms of the actual advice being given. Let me know what you think in the comments. Related tags for the algo include noel deyzel steroids, noel deyzel creatine, noel deyzel chicken and noel deyzel body shaming. - Jak na to + styl

He doesn't waste people's time with 20 min videos on 30 second topics. I think that's the main attraction.
@Lionpro it has nothing to do with attention span, just he is not pading for time and getting straight to the point.
@Lionpro while that is true, my statement still stands. Why would you watch someone who is just padding for time vs someone who puts the most amount of information and condenses it in a short and accessible manner.
@Lionpro people don't know everything.
@Francis Russell Nipit like this useless 15 min vid, from a guy that obviously has nothing else to say and has a meh physique, yeah
@Francis Russell Nipit not you silly, you go for it, but a couple things I learned early on when watching CZcams to learn how to properly workout, 1, don't listen to the people who makes videos of other people, like this guy. 2 don't listen to anyone who doesn't have the body you want, 3, find a routine and stick with it for 3 months
Noel Deyzel just seems like a genuinely nice guy, maybe he isnât as scientifically accurate all the time in terms of precision than a scientist - but heâs never really been wrong, and speaks from experience. The guy just seems really cool
And he never seems to make mistakes on the common tripping points. He knows his shit and definitely researches stuff he may know less about. Heâs a bodybuilder so his perspective will be different to your average guys like me and you, but he puts the work in for sure
Even when he sometimes gives misinformation, it's not harmful misinformation, it's just something that you could do that doesn't help but doesn't hurt to do either.
But he gives citations which is truly crucial as it gives substance to his claims

@@muzankibutsuji7377 yeah a better choice of words would be fitness influencer. Hard for many to be a fitness influencer when the best information is the simplest making it hard to stand out. The best are the one's who don't give bs. Best are the one's who give the simple info and going in depth ain't bad also
My health progression started in August and heâs been a huge reason for starting and being motivated to continue. Heâs down to earth, very genuine, pretty funny, very informative and like you said, a very nice guy
Yeah, there are a lot of selfish/annoying bitches out there in the fitness industry. Only few are actually humble like him. đ€·đ»ââïž
I'm not even into fitness, but Noel just is so pleasant to watch. He just seems like a nice guy.
I think one of the reasons I like Noel so much is because he doesn't make you feel like crap for missing a day of working out or cheating on your diet. He's very realistic on a person's actual day-to-day schedule. I would love to work out for 2-3 hours in a day, but it's just not possible when you have a regular 8-5. Most fitness influencers make you feel awful for just being...human.
On point. Many fitness influencers just rave about, "Doing these simple tricks everyday" and it consists of doing 6 heavy abs days per week and you'll end up looking juiced out. When in reality, you'd end up feeling dead and looking miserable.
What workout program is taking 2-3 hours a day? It must have quite a bit of junk volume. Weight lifting isn't merely about volume, but is a mixture of intensity and volume. As a matter of fact, you eventually start to be building endurance more than muscle mass gain. Not to mention, depending on the split that you're using, the workouts aren't every single day because there are rest/recovery days.
@@codygrannemann9506 My workouts would get to 2-3 hours back in college. The reason is because I'd do 20-30 minutes of cardio before and after my work out.
On top of that, my weight training would take 40 minutes to an hour and a half depending on what I was hitting for the day. As you said, my endurance would increase, allowing for more time to be spent on certain isolations.
This would usually take at least 2 hours. That's not even including the eating, the showering, the changing of clothes, and whatever else. People don't take into account the other peripherals included in a work out.
Yeah plus itâs not ideal or necessary to spend more than around an hour in the gym unless youâre working out twice in a day or etc
@@n.pags.99personally, I find that I start running out of steam around the one and a half hour mark and any sets I do after that would be much lower quality compared to early in the workout.
Agree, I think heâs been a very positive force overall with helpful messaging that many of his followers need to hear, & I applaud his honesty about his obvious PED use. Glad to see his fast growth & success đ
Next Masterclass when?
Really? So it's ok to normalize body dysmorphia and unrealistic body image as long as you're 'honest' about it? If he didnt have the steroided body to go with it, he would be another jo schmo giving banal motivation and training advice.
@@zeus-ow8li how is anything he does âsupporting gains that are unrealistic and body dysmorphic?â He still has to work for everything he has and is true were he said he doesnât do it naturally when tons of people arenât natural but continue to say they are. @@zeus-ow8li He *is* honest about it. He's not running around saying that doing an hour of weights each morning and eating a diet of utter crap will give you a similar physique. He acknowledges the time, attention, and PEDs it takes to look like him. @@wurdnurd1 what he does is normalize body dysmorphia. He's saying that steroids are a perfectly acceptable way to overcome your confidence and body image issues. People need to wake up to the real impact these types of guys have. The irony is that Noel still suffers from the same body dysmorphia and insecurity he suffered from prior to getting on the sauce. He does use steroids, he does use supplements, but he is a really nice guy. He doesnât lie and tell you âdo this to get thisâ he is very down to earth. And he actually cares about people with fitness passions and wants to show us the way rather than show off

Hybrid WHO?
Noel has been posting consistently for ~4 months and almost has 1 million subscribers. Thatâs almost unheard of
Heâs one of these fake influencers i just saw his channel i call bs
It's because Noel is more muscular than Hybrid
Hybrid calisthenics is not as aesthetic as noel. Also Noel's personality probably more fitting with these fitness channels. Hybrid is more like a personal improvement type of guy.
I don't care if he's on roid. But the advices and words he give is positive.
I do care. I do care that he's open about it and exposing the fake bs. That's the most positive thing about him. Young lifters are chasing Chris Hemsworth bodies and wasting money on bs training plans and garbage high profit supplements and then they get discouraged when they don't see the same results. They need to know that all these guys are bs snake oil sales people and on some serious juice.
@@Shvabicu that's why I respect him.
@@Shvabicu A note about Chris Hemsworth: While attaining his physique naturally is impossible for most guys, it doesn't seem like he used PEDs. He's always been a pretty big dude, even before Thor. However, the fact that genetics play a major role in how big you can naturally get is another topic that doesn't receive enough awareness, which adds to the body dysmorphia problem. It took me years and a lot of research to be okay with the fact that my particular physique isn't meant to exceed 180lbs (at a healthy body fat %). It also helped seeing guys like UFpwerLifter to realize that you don't have to be huge to be strong and have a nice physique.

My main attraction to Noelâs channel is that he doesnât lie about his steroid use and he genuinely just creates short very informative videos without taking up a lot of time which is very important cause when one is willing to make it so short it shows his dedication to being informative and not trying drain 20 to 10 minutes of your life out of you. Another key ingredient to my love for his channel is certainly him putting EMPHASIS to all new bodybuilders on the importance of break time, protein intake, and having patience with how much time it will take to see results. Life isnât a anime and rest time is pivotal.
"When one is willing to make it short" Like it doesn't obviously take much more than a cadedication time and effort editing included To make long videos. You're on his meat. You're a meat rider.
â@@dreytonstrickland6302most of his videos are in short format, AKA it doesn't have any ads, and if i want to learn something, i absolutely abhore having some guy drag out the video with useless filler to explain something i can learn in way less time.
For me Noel's videos did something no other fitness influencers' videos did, which was honestly talk about how he achieved his body, and how I shouldn't expect the same, and that it's okay to not be on grind mode all the time. Everyone else that I've seen in passing trying to get into fitness for myself felt like they were pushing this "Get shredded, grind all day, anyone can get any body type easily just do what I say!" Narrative in my face. It's just not realistic, and when you realize half of them either lie about gear usage and the other half have a program to sell you and that's where they're pushing you, not caring about setting healthy goals and mindsets for you and the other viewers, fitness just felt slimy and uninviting.
Tldr, Noel is a big mother f****r who's honest and morally sound, with realistic viewpoints on body types and fitness as a whole.

I subscribed just because he has blade runner music in the background of all of his short videos
Its not blade runner music lol
@@jasbdfx4866 đ€Ł
@@jasbdfx4866 similar style though
Aint it the dying light music?
in an alternate universe, Vshred and Mike Oâ Hearn switches role with Sean and Noel
Good information đ
Good Stuff Sean!!! TY
He gets his points across in such short videos. It's great
Maybe he is talking about stuff that people already talked about before but at least he is not sharing bullshit and scamming people.
Even if it's been said before, it's still good to share it because someone might not have heard it before.
As time has gone on iâve begun to love Noel more and more. Seems to truly love and interact w fans
he gives sincere, positive thoughts on everything. Noel's stuff is genuinely useful
Seriously one of the best fitness channels out there. I love how you explain things totally honestly, and don't shy away from the science behind things!
Great video man! Love the content
From what I can tell Noel is an amazing guy who is upfront about everything in his career and advice, which is something I can greatly respect. He makes good content and has great advice.
Noel is cool to watch. There is something so serene about his posture, voice, text and music.
I love the cooking spray demonstration
Love Noel he seems like such a great dude who genuinely wants people to become better versions of themselves, whether itâs physically or otherwise
Content cop , great analysis ! Thank you for the video !
Great content. Got your program, your warm-up is very good as well! I was confused as to what warm-up to do, you clarified that
Donât forget noel is like 37 years old so some of the advice he gives like protein synthesis that is outdated he probably learned when he was a beginner lifter so itâs instilled in him
Iâm not against Noel, but if this is his job, the onus is on him to stay up to date. For instance a 70yr old doctor would be expected to use current treatment in order to practise.
I like Noel, but staying up to date is extremely important.
@@gracecar5820 you would be surprised by how many old doctors don't use updated treatments
Or even new doctors trained by older doctors...
But you are right, the right expectations is what you said
Cool video Sean!
I love Noelâs energy, heâs wholesome, funny and educational with his videos. Love the guy! I wish I had a best friend like him đ
remember when mike chang was the biggest fitness personality online?
those were the days.
Yeah but he was just a big scamer
Have you check him out recently?? He actually gives great advice nowadays.
Oh yeah. The Afterburn guy
@@jessyavila5317 I got far better advice from him than most of nowadays youtubers though.
I do not regret having followed him, but I do regret having followed people like Cavaliere, DrBerg and company
The biggest fitness personality disorder, yeah
âNow, you could argue that thatâs just natural selection at playâ đ€Ł. I remember seeing Noelâs short on the problem with being a fake natty a while back. I had no idea he was on his way towards becoming this popular, but I totally get it! Great video, Sean đȘđ€
Two of my favorite CZcamsrs right here.
His positivity is his selling point
Noel's content is awesome. Short and sweet. Your "shorts" is following the same direction and will garner similar success. Well done and thanks!
I like Noel because he sends this self-love message without the fluff and bullshit.
Good to see Shawn and Noel stay on there grind
Noel has helped inspire me to start going to the gym.
I love it now and I owe some of my devotion to gym to him.
