Small Chinese City Lantern Festival | 福清元宵节

The celebrations for the lunar new year in China are still continuing, this time with Lantern Festival (元宵节 or 灯节), which occurs on the 15th day of lunar year. Fuqing city in Fujian province (福建省，福清市) has put on a huge event this year, attracting thousands of people. There are massive lantern displays dotted along the river as well as lights decorating the streets. There was also a traditional dragon dance during the evening, which is even more apt for the year of the dragon.
