Some of the above are affiliate links, meaning Amazon will kick a small percentage back to me if you purchase something through the link, you don’t even have to buy any of the listen products just through the link is enough. It doesn't cost you anything but helps me in a small way to keep making videos.

So much respect Dan, I really appreciate that you actively push as much knowledge as you can into the spearo community. Good on ya!
Yep, another awesome video. Thanks to this channel (and a few others) the learning curve for my spearfishing addiction has flattened considerably. Cheers mate!

Brilliant Daniel, I wish I had this in my day, your postings continue to serve this great activity.
Think I've binged all of your videos past few days in preparation for my first go at spearfishing this weekend! Awesome videos, got me pumped to go!
I've already learned a lot from your DIY videos! Thanks for that - and gladly more of it!
This is excellent, thanks. My first rubber is starting to look like it's approaching EOL, so I'll be following your videos to create some new ones before I head out again.
Thats a great idea... Thank you Daniel I look forward to more great DIY from you.
Love these DIY vids and the camera work for detail. Thx.
I've got to give this a go, thanks for the video 👍
Should be simple after making your own gun 👌
Just finished rigging my new small 75cm Apache with 16mm rubber. Close ups on the knots are a huge help! Big Mahalos Mate!

For an AUSSIE, you are a cool dude. Education in diving is learned, but WISDOM is EARNED.
So little time and so much still to learn. My daily request is ***GOOD LORD: GIVE me patience ~ but HURRY ***!
You are a KING of the DEEP. Be safe and blessed.

Awesome vid - I refer people to your other video about how to put together a speargun rubber all the time. Awesome to have another point of reference.
Thanks Sam!
Nice work! Heading to hardware now!
Love your work 👌
Found your DIY stuff great. Took your advice and got a decent warm wetsuit for my son and I, we’re gonna give it a go this Sunday. It would be good to see a video on reading the weather. Here where we are it could be pretty disastrous if you get it wrong.
Another good one Daniel. More diving and tech stuff vids please.
Nice tips ... i will try it on the next maintenance
Great video!. Keep the good work!
Always quality info. Make sure to patent that!
Do you want to become his manager? LOL!
Exelente heres un gran buso buena explicacion
Instead on using the pliers to seal the end of the melted bead. I use a old metal spoon to keep things rounded on the ends. It helps me to not have to file things down.
Great tip!

Was waiting for the link to your online store. Guess I’ll have to use the info. Such a banger trick.
Ha, I doubt I’d be selling many home made bridle inserts!
Thanks Mann
thank you idol for this DYI
Good job Dan forever the tinkerer mate!
Always something to tinker with in spearfishing.
more of this thanks!
well done congratulations
You've got to be a sparky with channelock long nose and marvel pliers. Love your work man, keep it up. Shouts from Sydney
Those long nose pliers are the only thing left from my original tool kit as a first year in 2006. I don't do much electrical work these days but the tools are handy none the less.
Top. Congratulations from brasil.
Very clean! This is much better than many of the commercially available ones I've seen out there. I personally don't like having anything hard inside my bands, especially in high stretch setups, but this is a great diy design!
Fair enough, I mostly use conventional style spearguns so it’s not a problem. I can see with a roller though you’d want to have the soft one inside.
@@DanielMann Yep, rollers are what I had in mind in particular. Best to keep everything soft. I may be using your inserts for conventional bands for some customers though 😏
Love the DIY. I know it's a tough ask currently, but I miss the competition day recap videos. You make it feel like we're there with you on your team, epic.
But I'll watch anything between my shoredive hunts. Keep it up brah.
I wish I could be diving competitions this summer. Missed world championships in Sardinia as well due to covid.
More bloopers please. Love the work brother.
There are more bloopers than actual good takes 🤣
