I am looking to really build out the GoKaioken community. I do video game live streams, videos with RC cars, Vlogs, and all sorts of other stuff. Willing to make it a full time gig and quit my job (who wouldn’t!) if the growth is there. Feel free to check out the rest of my channel. I try to organize most of my videos into Playlists so you can check out what you are most interested in. :) - Zábava
And this is why I love this hobby
My suggestion would be to not immediately think your diffs are stripped. Definitely check out the plastic on the bulkhead or surrounding the bulkhead before spending money on differentials. Hope this helps! Expect to see a rebuild video soon! :)
I've been getting a click from mine too. Thanks for the video.
Absolutely. I hope it helps. Let me know if you need anything or have questions.
Nice video my friend some good jumps there 2 bro. Thanks for share the video I sub now.😎
I appreciate that bro! Thanks for the sub 👍🏻
Truly awesome video,, this is the stuff that really helps other hobbyist out,, real life shit,, simple but very very helpful!! I to suffered weeks pulling out all 3 diffs,, inspecting what could be causing this horrible clicking or rubbing sound,, only when hitting my throttle hard,, under normal conditions at first, not so bad, then I performed small jump,, landed on the throttle,, and then instantly it got loud,, almost aggressive sounding or as if it’s transmission was about to fall it,,, After watching many many videos,, I found yours,, the one true tutorial that ended my nightmare of the running/clicking sound,, it was my rear bullhead,, same one I though I examined,, but only after removing rear shock tower,, there it was,, hidden but there,, small crack in the bulkhead,,, Wow,,, thank you good Sir,,, excellent video,.💪💪💯✌️
I’m so glad to hear my video helped you identify the issue in yours!
Do you have a video on how you got the back end broken down like that?
Hey Aaron. Check out part 2/2 where I put everything back together, I skip through putting the front on but I show how to put the rear back on. If you do the reverse of what is in that video you should be ok.
Let me know if not though, I’d be happy to shoot a quick video for you showing how.
Mine makes a terrible sound only under hard acceleration similarish click can't work it out keeps getting worse over time now on 6th run only ever lightly done 5 foot jumps bmx park and grass feild runs aswell any ideas it's disappointing for the price paid for it and it also squeaks. through corners.
Definitely sounds like a crack somewhere in the plastic. Check the bulkhead and the differential housing.
I’m getting a clicking but it also sounds like it’s stripping. I changed the rear bulkhead and rear diff . Still having the same problem. I ordered the front, rear , and center diffs . I also got both bulkheads
It may be the bulkhead being cracked, that’s what mine was
WoooooW very nice amigo
Thanks!
nice subscribed
Thanks for the sub!
I know late. But any one else that sees it, if at anytime you shred the spur or pinion, even though the teeth were cleaned out, if any of them worked back into the bulkhead they could cause the peice to hide itself in the grease and not notice it. Best thing to do is remove rear diff, make sure enough fluid, make sure tight, clean off old grease to make sure no teeth remain from broken gears and line with white lithium grease or (I prefer High Temp Disc Brake and Bearing grease and always been great). Sometimes it's the smallest thing. But be nice to have gears rated for 8s.
Did you make that stand for the xnaxx
Yes
Go to check the screws. Normal
Yup same thing happened to me except I broke both ends. A double whammy,,,,sheesh! Maybe I should stop jumping from the top of Mount Everest down to the base camp.... just sayin.....lol
Lol oh but then what fun is it!
You look like the dude from fast and furious Tokyo drift
Haha I’ve heard that a couple times
i have no idea what the issue was because too much unrelated footage and movement. what was the cause and eventual fix? mine has been doing this and i can't narrow it down.
Mine ended up being a cracked bulkhead near where the arms connected, replacing that fixed the issue.
@@RCRecon intersting. mine was same thing. Front bulkhead was cracked up. now i have this wierd issue where after i tighten down the front diff cover, the center drive shaft slips and will not turn the ring gear in the front. i have new drive shaft and pinions coming. im so frustrated.
