Wow. I'm doing a build just like this. Got the same mx650 and doing the 72v 5000w kit from e&c. Got the same kit for the front end. Thanks for doing this before me. I'll be watching closely.
How long did delivery take?
@Jayden Vienola I took like 6 weeks but I got them right when they came out and the first batch had sold out. So I had to wait for a restock.
I just rewatched your first build video today lol
Nahh you dead got me with the baseball 😂😂😂
Electric GOAT!!!!😁
You're tearing it up bro good job you're real good with that bike shit l could not to that it's was cool as shit what did to that bike and you are a good rider in my opinion keep up bro l loved the video 💯⚡⚡⚡⚡🤣lmfao 🤣 👍👍💯
W Video
yes i do agree that kelly controllers are better than the standart chinese ones. with kelly you just have much better controll with the throttle and power
what king of spring is that
Doing the same thing but except for electric I’m swapping in a 212 🎉
Thx for the video. I'm thinking about doing the same, but i noticed that ebay link is dead, any chance you know a different one?
I installed this same kit last week and what I think you should have done was press fit that white spacer onto the spring before dropping it back in your fork. I doubt that when you just dropped the spacer in the tube it actually pressed on the spring and that's why one side is loose.
Thanks for the input! It's possible, but I actually did press fit the spacers onto the springs off camera. The guy who sent me the kit had the same problem, and it had to do with the very bottom, long white spacers that clip in (the ones I used two flatheads to take out)
@@AllThingsElectric_ oh ok, did yours crack at all when you removed them? There is a guy on CZcams who sells replacement ones that are 3d printed.
Mine came out alright. Tbh there is a file on thingiverse that you can print for free if you have a printer. Thats what I did, but I haven't installed them yet.
@@AllThingsElectric_ good to know . I need to get myself a printer.
@@AllThingsElectric_ Awesome video and project you have going on, I was thinking maybe you can saw off new springs the same length as old ones. The old stock ones bottom out because of the metal material used to build them that makes them more sucesible or prone to be softer or flexible making them bottom out (personal opinion), but by cutting the new springs the same length it'll hopefully eliminated the play the springs have in the fork. Hope this helps you and looking forward towards next video and future projects. btw how tall are you? I'm thinking of getting the same pit bike and dropping a bigger electric motor in it from a treadmill but don't know how comfortable the ride would be since I'm around 5'9"...
what back shock you got on that?
Hey I was wondering how long is the battery life on your bike on a full ride with those 3 batteries that you have in your bike I have an upgraded one I built too but I’m looking to upgrade the controller and batteries two the ones you have but I was curious on battery life.
I wouldn’t recommend these hobby batteries. Def better to build your own. I was getting about 25 miles though
do you have any idea about what range you would Gert with 42v 20ah 2000w motor, been looking for the answer and no one has talked about it, figured you know quite a bit mine as well ask.
It’s all gonna depend on how hard you ride. I’d say you could get up to at least 30 miles.
Would the suspension work on the razor sx350?
Howed u rise ur handle bars like that
Have an e bike mtb build and want to upgrade the controller to a 72v for a 3000W mid drive motor.
What will I need to get so it works great?
I suggest using the controller I have, Kelly 72v 120a controller (could be different amperage) and the motor I have. Very simple wiring and instillation for it. The rest will be up to you and fabrication.
How still are yours? Mine stiff to the point where I can’t compress it even a little bit by pushing down on the forks with my bare hands
This kit is perfect for me and any adult. Just stiff enough. It depends on rider weight too
Great work. Keep learning. By the time you are my age you will be able to do anything.
P.S. I disagree with one thing you said. You said you have to make do with what you have. Go buy a set of long extensions. Use the correct tools.
Yea I could definitely use a long extension
How those risers holding up? I was just looking at my sons bike. He is getting a lot taller faster then we thought. Just wondering if they hold up pretty well?
Have not had an issue so far! I def recommend making custom risers.
can u pls tell me the spring u use at 5:17
The link for those plastic things doesn't work pls put a new link of the one
Working on getting an updated link! Sorry!
Does ur fork wobble because after I finish installing my upgraded springs my fork started wobbling
Check out the newer video on this build! Fixed that with some 3D printed inserts!
What is the kit?? It won't let me click on the link
Did the upgrade kit get deleted or something? When I click on the click it says they can't find it
We're working on getting an updated link. Apologies!
Bro can u put the link for the shock under the seat that make the bike taller
I believe its an 8" pit bike shock. You can find on ebay.
Ohh yea surronster is kinda cool I watch him my self
We're did you get your battery and speed controller and motor from
batteries from hobbyking and controller form kellycontrols, link in original build video
What kind of rear shock did you put on your bike?
It’s a cheap pit bike shock. 8” I believe
How did you fix the break pull?
I’ll put it in an upcoming video, it’s a pretty interesting fix!
How much did this build cost? $1500-$2000?
Around that yea. Prob closer to 2.
The link in description didn't work for forks
Working on getting an updated link! I apologize for that!
I’m doing the same thing but with electric scooter any advice
I have info about a 40mph 6kW electric scooter I made on my Patreon, but its def dangerous. Not saying it wasn't fun, but the outcome was interesting to say the least.
In regards to these electronics, they would be perfect for a scooter.
thanks for the advice
And can you give me the link to where I can buy them
I got those springs but there to stiff for dirt
They're pretty stiff yea, if you want something super dirt capable I would swap in some pitbike forks.
@@AllThingsElectric_ I just use a less stiff spring. At fork swap is more complicated
Same kind of handlebars I am going to put on they are much thicker Motocross handlebars way better
yo link the beat my man
DM my boy @evanmoitoso !
Looks terrible with the rear wheel tucked in like that
🤣🤣🤣
Don't waste money on news prings. Just get hydraulic forks that are longer.
READY FOR HYDRAULIC FORKS? i gotem for sale !
Its not even 45phm
In conclusion they make the bike ride like crap and are not worth the money
Is there a way of instead of upgrading to a 72v brushless motor, doing dual brushless HUB? either 36v or 72v 16" wheel conversion with two ESC? would be sick in all honesty...Plus would love to build it on my MX650 project but just haven't found enough content online on said build. @allthingselectric_
