  • This is an older dyno video from 2019, a day after I was officially a year older.
We rented out KO Racing's dyno for tuning, and the session overall went well.
However, we did had a wastegate line popped off in a very difficult location between the engine shock tower, and underneath the turbine housing.
Fortunately, Kris of KO Racing had the tools for us to get that back on within minutes, which would've normally took the removal of the whole turbo kit to reach to. The RPS header was modified by English Racing for twin wastegates, and both was recirculated to manage boost control, which it manages very well.
These headers were notoriously known for boost creep, for those who are unaware. They were popular in the Supra community for their unequal length, high pitched tone, that varied depending on the rest of the engine setup, such as cams, headwork, intake manifolds, exhausts, ect. They were also one of the first single turbo manifolds ever built for the 2jz IIRC, and it was also used on the original Fast & The Furious Supra.
Towards the end of our final runs, we had some minor top end spark break ups from the spark plug gaps being too wide. I had them at 0.30 gaps in an attempt to better the idle and efficiency since I have brand new OEM coilpacks. However, we still had to regap them down to 0.24 to be safe.
Other than these 2 coincidence, the rest of the car held up wonderfully. The engine reaches 500 ft/lbs of TQ about 300 rpms later than before due to the larger turbine housing, but the top end pretty much holds flat.
The Turbo is a Forced Performance HTA3582.
    Previously the turbine housing was a T4 0.82 vs T4 1.06 now.
The additional lag was mitigated due to the fact we degree'd the camshafts per Tomei's cam card, and we went from 8:5:1 compression ratio, to now 10:0:1.

Sounds like fast and furious 1 supra

That's because the F&F Supra also used RPS manifold.

@@electrikoptikI already knew, but it's incredible how there are very few with rps manifold and they don't achieve 100% sound.

F&F Supra used a Greddy PE cat back if memory serves.

      @@BoostWang Yes that’s correct

@@ezequielgonzalez9522 They can all sound different depending on exhaust piping diameter, head work, cams, ect.
