That was some really good information bro! I felt like I just watched a quick seminar on fishing Clearwater!!I really struggle fishing deep clear water reservoirs.What bait do you recommend that has caught you the most spotted bass?
Rob's tools for clear water spots are the Fishhead spin, small swimbait, jerkbait, crankbait, drop shot and jigging spoon. When we filmed this it was snowing and the wind was blowing hard and Rob caught some giant spots. bassu.tv.
Shakey Head or drop shot in water melon seed or pumpkin. Ned and smaller jigs. Finesse style worms. Chrome rattle traps in smaller size. All baits at time more natural their site feeders. Use fluorocarbon and lighten line up and use a spinning rod. Most people when the water gets warm fail to work the bait fast enough on power baits in clear water. Fish more lose around cover and take advantage of low light periods. Many of these clear water lakes the night bite is amazing in the summer time and early fall.

Dt 6 is nothing new or a secret
The secret is Rob's modification. He heats the bill and changes the angle dramatically. Causes a tighter wobble and deeper diving DT6. Really sneaky.
