Playing off scope snagging like its a normal part of actual fishing.. The only reason he cast over there was that he saw a fish suspending on livescope and he cast on the fish snagging it in the process. Fish how you want but let's not pretend like there was any intuition or fishing theory that placed that cast there and then expect everyone to applaud when you land a fish.

Schenectady born I've been fishing the lake since the 80s first from the shore and in the 90s in tournaments but y'all fish from Ticonderoga and north try launching out of South Bay and fishing that stretch

You cant leave your boat to pull your plug to sink the boat to get into another body of water “traditional bass fishing techniques” but can use technology that shows where the fish is. Thats ridiculous

I think they should ban all the forward faces sonar or 360. The tournament should be based off traditional bass techniques. I get it if its a tool unfortunately it has become a lifeline for the new generation of bass anglers. They video game fish with their umpteen sonars. Its ridiculous

Man this video should have many more likes! Very good, straightforward info here! I caught my PB 2 days ago on a Trap (1/2oz, hooked a 26" 9lb LMB!!!) on a steady quick retrieve in 100 degree temp. BUT, like you said, I caught ONE. Never varied my retrieve. But everything that was said makes perfect sense. So I'm off to the pond to try it out! Thanks!

OK, maybe this guy is an "expert" in shallows, but most bank pounders would be clueless when the fish migrate back to sanctuary depth. Sure, sometimes you'll find some fish shallow but the home of the fish is deep water.

Instead of paying more marshalls, they could get technology to help them. My primary concern with getting more marshalls is that it will be difficult to find enough marshalls for EVERY event. To take the other side, every sport has more officials than BASS and BPT.

Lets get the spotlighting banned. Theres a lot of skills and knowledge you have to develop over the years in order to come in and win tournaments. Its all out the door. They are bombing through the lake with umpteen sonars for days than spotlighting fish and winning tournaments. Our sport is going up in flames.

The rules meeting is a great idea because as of now who's to say the intent of the "violated". A good meeting with cut and dry interpretations would show the intent of the violator.
