I think its part of the jeep since it UK has stricter car requirements than US. Maybe for added safety or aero

you're right it was. also amber rear turn signals were a requirement over there too, which is why these wranglers have them equipped.

I just bought a 2001 wrangler 4 Cylinder, sounds like a little tank only paid $4700 153k miles. I have a 06 4runner 4wd and the jeep is funner to drive

20 cm more width? That’s like... 5 inches right?!

So That's what they look like without the lift and big tires.

Without the unnecessary lift and bigger tires, great to see! So many are tricked by the aftermarket into thinking they "need" a 3" lift and 33" tires or worse. That just starts a snowball effect that never stops! A TJ can fit 31" AT's w/out lifting it. And you have an amazing 4x4 for 20 - 40 years if you take care of it.

those turn signals on the front fenders made it look goofy looking. i know they returned to that in the 2018 wrangler but they made them look a lot better this time around.

SteelCity1981 still looks better than that abomination of the JK was. But I agree the JL did it better though I personally don’t have a problem with the TJ

Yea first time ive ever this design critic point for the tj..........i really dont see how it looks goofy but forsure the tj as a whole looks better than any modern POS FCA wrangler now. One if many pionts that makes it Considered the last real jeep.

2018 has turn signal in fenders and hood has the lifted scoop like TJ .. I really like this newer design.
