Though this still isn't "the one for everybody" I think the Cherokee division of Forest River RV made some smart calls after some of the feedback they received when then model first released last year. The update to the kitchen setup is something I think this RV needed badly.
Many shoppers may also find encouragement in the swap from a Schwintek slide system to Xact slide by Norco! The updated, lighter color scheme is also something many will see as a relief compared to previous seasons!

I like the interior colors, the super large dinette window, convection oven, the larger air fan and the longer seating in the slideout.
Thanks for sharing!
No pass thru is odd. I'm surprised there's no outdoor storage in the slide with that shelving space behind the couch.
Actual if it's like the 26lk you can put blankets behind the couch it's like hollowed out . I was surprised myself thinking there wasn't space but there is .
Great layout! Wish my ranger could tow it
Thank you for the slide out type information.
you bet!
With a swing arm, I actually like that tv location. You could see it from the bed, couch, and the bed!
If you camp with a ferret or chickens, the kitchen cabinets are perfect!!!
The window coverage is fantastic in this little rig.
the cabinet comment got me LOL'ing
Ha! Me too! 😅
@JoshtheRVNerd Hey, I don't know how other people camp either! I'm just glad their needs are getting met 😃
Grates on cabinet doors? I'm OK with it. If you don't like it, construction paper backings are cheap. Or kid art.
Very nice cargo. Looks fun.
Hey Uncle Josh, I hope you're having a great day! I love this Grey Wolf, an what they have done to it. How long is the jack-knife sofa? I do like the wire mesh that they are using in the cabinets. I do wish there was a little more counter top space but I get that if they gave you more counter top space they would have to take away from something else in the Grey Wolf travel trailer. Thank you Uncle Josh for showing us this Grey Wolf and giving us all the information good and bad. Your number one fan and friend Leonard from North Carolina! #NERDHERD preferred!!!!!😎😀💪🤘🐒🐶🐕🐺🐱🐈🐯🦁🐻🐨🐼🐲🐉🐊🐢⚾🏀🏈🎾🎳⛳🚣🕹🎮🔭😎😀😄
I really like it. This would be perfect for my husband and I with an occasional stay by the grandson.
Love the Mario jump sound for the cabinets 🤓
:)
Love the video lots of information
Nice rig! I like the interior colors, too.
Like this one! I would get this in the brack label edition. Love the look of the frameless windows. The color are ok. Wish they had an optional white color. Like all of the storage in in this rv. Love the XL vent fan. The bathroom is ok. I like this layout but like the cougar better. Thank you!
good video josh
Good cargo capacity. I am good with the wire on the cabinet doors . Good length.

Looks nice and the price is good
Very nice and popular layout, but I thought Grey Woof 🐶 made 4 season RV’s? And that TV location isn’t bad, but yes, needs a different mount. I’m wondering if there’s an aftermarket system that would ally a larger TV, but with a manual or strap down mount that would allow that TV to be moved or repositioned as needed?
Nothing in the "wolf" family is "Four seasons"
Extended at best
Not a fan of the small counter in the kitchen. I also have to have a theater seat for my bad low back. Those 2 things limited our choices so went with the Jayco 263 RBS, nice kitchen, and theater seats.
Solid choice!
Why is the stove right where the door opens? Lose the pantry, shorten the slide, move the stove where pantry was. Could even put pantry where stove is.🤔🤔🤔
Love the microwave/air-fryer + stovetop combo. Now personally, if I can just find an electric induction stovetop... that's my unicorn LOL
#RVNerdHerd 🎉 😊 🎉
Hope you're surviving the storm today!
I'm actually in Idaho but my family were all fine thankfully
Josh, so many campers have a cramped toilet, which I can’t understand. Can’t the engineers lay out a bathroom that doesn’t cramp you when you’re doing your business? Thanks as usual Josh.
I know. That's why I do my toilet selfie champion routine - so you can see how it really works out
The grey wolf 26lk in my opinion did it right in the bathroom plenty of space on both sides of toliet
DEAD SHOWER FLIES! You aren't REALLY camping until you have them! Honestly. I watched almost in tandem this video against last year's model. Yes to some of the new tweaks...but honestly...I like the new low position of the microwave/convection, but I would have been perfectly okay with continued use of a 2 burner stovetop, just to free up some counter space. I like the addition of the tilt garbage, even though that under sink area is plenty big to place one, too. I was looking closely at the changes to the front, over bed cabinets. It's a nice eye appealing improvement. The bathroom? Yeeaahhhhhh. DEALBREAKER. Honestly, in this size camper I'd consider a bathroom without a sink, or use a flip up version, sink. Give the toilet user some space, pleaaaase OR do something about eliminating that cabinetry at the back of the dinette booth and contribute that floor space to the bathroom. The pantry next to the fridge is plenty big and (like I mentioned) there's plenty of space under the kitchen sink for a garbage can.
TY for taking the time to compare the two!

Hey Uncle Josh,
So that backup camera will just play on your cell phone? What brand is that?
I just bought the Furrion back up camera and the side cameras and installed them on my new RV. I have never used the side mount cameras before. Boy, let me tell you it sure helps when backing on a curve or changing lanes. I think those are great. I do wish that I could get them to record video in case that I was ever in an accident. I would imagine that the blue tooth one that hooks to the phone is useless in the case that you are using GPS on your phone. I also wonder if it would connect to your car's apple play or whatever the screen thing is? Boy, I just took you off task for the rest of your day, didn't I?
Thanks,
Pat
Lippert
Love the sofa and large bathroom vent fan👍but no ladder, no TV, the tiny camp queen bed, the decades old uncomfortable “Denny’s” diner booth dinette, the cheap plastic toilet and shower curtain that will drip water all over the floor was pretty disappointing☹️
Kitchen with no prep space is a definite NO! I need prep space to cook. No theatre seating is another no.
Fair enough!
Josh, at the 1:33 mark you show the jack system. I was shocked to see that it is attached to the frame by self tapping screws!! In my opinion that is absolutely unacceptable. Not to use a bolt system there just shows the manufacturer is cheap. If that’s in the open to see what is hidden? Wow
Bathroom door opens wrong way. Need to push that sofa back. Want front window and in the slideout
Forget that little solar panel you might as well have a couple double d batteries really😂
yeah it's a reliable battery tender for storage but not intended for much more. They do have the wiring and charge controller to scale up to 500w now
I'm lefthanded. Having a wall that close to the side of the stove is not functional for lefties.
Fair enough!
This is probably my overall favorite floorplan though with a 22MLE I might not be an unbiased commenter.
I don't like the TV location. I'd give up the oversize window to have the TV over the dinette.
The water heater location away from all of the hot water outlets doesn't make sense to me. They should have put it under the sink so people wouldn't have to waste water waiting for it to get from the front of the trailer to the back. For this model in particular there is no need for an additional trashcan space with the one located in the cabinet under the TV.
lol I feel ya. I really like the layout style. Imagine's is a good one. I do lean to the Cougar version a bit but.. it's close
Bathroom door hung backwards
That kitchen is a no go for me. No prep space. I prefer theater seating and no place for Raff’s cage.
Stick and Tin ? 🤔
yep
Well you always make much to do about a trash can but when I look at your murch dept you didn't sell the Nurd approved trash can just underwear and socks just a suggestion
lol
How about, “…tell you what’s awesome, and tell you what’s ‘naw , son’.”
lol
1) I don’t know why, but it seems sorta 70’ish to me.
2) Definitely falls into someone’s first camper purchase but not the second camper purchased the first time around. Although it would probably make for a good weekend fishing camper by the lake.
3) Thanks for the weights and measures for the rear rack. A second spare tire would be overloading it. But that’s what the pickup bed is for I reckon.
4) I wish the industry would overhaul the look of their stick and tin siding. This look just seems too drab.
5) Professor Josh, I think I’ve watched you too much, because I’ve become a nerdy student and too damn picky in my research as one of your students for my first purchase. 😂
Curtain closure for a bedroom, not enough privacy.
About the worst kitchen I've ever seen... If you cook outside or stick to basic meals I'm sure it's fine, but if you enjoy cooking a nice meal with more than two ingredients then this would be a challenge with no prep space. Really don't like that you'll get bowled over by someone running to the bathroom if you're at the stove too. Everything else is pretty much the same as everyone else as far as the floorplan, so I can see this working as long as you keep meals simple or on the camp fire.
