I just bought that "Blue" Stanley cup for my wife at Ace about a week ago. The lady behind the counter started an argument with me, literally, that it was purple. I thought I was going color blind. The actual color is "Iris". I am so HAPPY you agree that it is blue too! You made my day! Haha! (My wife thought it was blue when got home with it too. :o)

ps… the outdoor rugs are just too big, so we cut our’s in 1/2, took the firestarter to seal/melt the edges!
We have one when we want one… and if having a group over to our camper we will pull out the other half!
So much easier to put away 1/2 the sized rug❤️👍

Those small stackable connectable parts containers are awesome, I have one for electrical connections, 1 for water accessories, one for hardware and an extra for misc items. They have a small footprint and have dividers in them so you can configure for different size parts. I purchased mine from harbor freight along with some other parts containers for screws and brackets.

Plus One on the recommendation of Unique Camping and Marine products, especially RV-DIGEST-IT.
We have been using it since shortly after we bought our first bumper pull a few years ago.
It is so nice to enter the camper, especially when it has been stored a while, and not smell the black tank.
On our prior two campers, RV-DIGEST-IT cleared tank sensor issues, and I am sure it will do the same on our recently acquired fifth wheel.

Our local ace has the basics but over the past few years it’s turned into more of a bougie market. They have less of what you need and more of high dollar items like yeti coolers, blackstones, green eggs,Weber grills,Nomadix overpriced towels etc. Now as a result they reduced stock of useful items for projects to make room for those items and I find myself walking out empty handed way more unlike in the past where they usually had what I needed.

  • @mountainskyaerialphotograp3921

Glad you have your RV black tank chemical, but I have found mixing my own works very well. Remember, the black tank is not a "Septic Tank" but rather a "Holding tank" and we use normal (SOFT) Bath Tissue with ZERO issues.

Ace Hardware is a great store. It does carry all kinds of great gear. Don’t expect discount or Walmart prices but the prices are fair. And they carry pretty good items.
At HF, a good buy is their 10 ga heavy extension cord, great for connecting a 30a rig to a 20a outlet.
The Camco filter is a joke. Get a Beech Lane dual full cartridge setup for $70.

FYI: I have two of the suction cup grab handles in my shower (in my house, no RV yet). They work great. You need to get the suction cups wet and reposition them about every 3 to 4 weeks, but it is better than drilling holes into my shower walls. When we get our RV, I will be buying them again.

They are all independently owned. Some chains will accept returns if they stock the item but because they are independent local business owners they can choose what to stock at their own stores. Which is great because they can adapt to what their area needs. And if they don’t stock some ting, most can order things pretty quickly from the warehouse :) (ex: if a store doesn’t stock a lot of RV Camco items)

We've found that those water splitters reduce the water pressure but I'm sure it's a good idea to have a clean water hose and a "dirty use" water hose. You've mentioned several times about having a regulator, but what do you do if you need MORE pressure and can't seem to get it? I get water directly from a hose attached to a splitter and it does not provide pressure enough to power the shower so I can only use the handheld. And as of now, I don't use the water tank. Should I?
