He was the complete midfielder, he could do everything; attack, defend, tackle, hit long range of passes,,, he could do the lot, I think if he came out of retirement and play for Rangers as player manager, I reckon Rangers would win the SPL because Gerrard would add that extra quality to their team, easily.

Gerrard is still obviously fit and can play at a top level on any given day. But he simply can’t deal with the demands of a full season anymore. His time with LA Galaxy showed that I think. Miles above just about every player in the league but he couldn’t do it day in and day out anymore.
