Maldini is a legend man, has looks that wouldn't look out of place had he been a movie star or a rock star. Class act aswell. Like alot of that Milan team tbf which given how amazing that team was says alot about them, very much created in the image of their manager, another legend Don Carlo.

This match was an absolute pleasure to watch. So glad LFC made it available for everyone. AC Milan and Liverpool will always be linked by their only 2 matches vs each other, played on the largest European stage. To be sure, Milan were the better team on both occasions. But the CL is not determined by a panel of judges. It's played out on the pitch. Sometimes the best teams dominate, as expected. And sometimes teams just pull it all together, players play the game of their life and maybe get a miracle along the way. Nothing but respect for AC Milan. So pleased to see the reception they received at Anfield. And so pleased to see so many of our players put that red shirt on again. Great to see the 8 from Istanbul. Hope the others (Finnan, Baros, Hamann, Kewell, Arne Riise, Alonso, as well as the unused subs, Nunez, Biscan, Josemi and Carson, and the others who helped get us there, Sinama-Pongol & Mellor) are all well. Great to see those who came before and after, especially my all-time favorite Red, Dirk Kuyt.
Was at this game, I got last minute tickets with my Dad... I was visiting my brother who is in university and saw this game was on!! First game at Anfield aswell, Ive been a fan all my life so it was brilliant. Thanks for the memories!
i love how for the first four goals everyone was casually enjoying the game but when it got to the last minutes everyone was on the edge of their seat waiting for a decider, the stevie puts it in bottom corner and the crowd is celebrating like it was a decider to get us through the next stages of a cup :3
I'm so glad Cisse and Fowler scored and it couldn't have been any more fitting that Gerrard scored the last minute goal (40 min a half in this game). I really enjoyed seeing the atmosphere and tone of this match. Friendly, sportsmanship, crowd are there to have a good time. I feel like some of this is lost in a competitive match. I can barely stomach the tension of this season but seeing these legends helps!
Same, you can't enjoy the games so much as these charity matches, there's so much more pressure and sometimes it takes the fun and the spirit out of the sport.
It was so nice to see them all.. Look at them they all know each other and respect everyone. We could say they are all football friends there. I highly doubt the new generation will ever be the same.
