YO! Lots of comments on my meet up video were about that Superman card trick. So I thought I'd share that with you today. This is a full card magic routine that does not require much sleight of hand and can be performed with a borrowed deck!

I would make this trick personal to a couple. Ask one to pick red or black and the other to name a card, find it, put his/her name on the front and the other halfs on the back and do the trick. They found each other in real life and also in the cards! Sure to get a few tears! Thanks Chris you're amazing :D

Part of what makes these tutorials so good is the types of things you learn. I have 1 double-lift that I'm proficient enough at to actually do, and this one looks simple...gonna try it out and see if I can't pick it up because having 2 would definitely be better. Thanks for this whole card trick!

I have to say, that performance really shows the difference between a great magician and an amazing one. The way you adapted your patter for the kid was brilliant, using the color change to "grab" Superman off of the card was also brilliant. This is an amazing example of how magic is much more than just techniques, it's at least 80% presentation. Keep up the great work, Chris!

I am so glad that you said to leave this comment because I have been wanting to message you about my variation and what I had figured out with it so I say THANK YOU!!!! Also, for my variation with this trick I draw a honey bird who's name is honey dove. Looks quite like a humming bird but now I draw him with a magician hat! Today though! I had discovered that I can use a double sided card on top of my deck to use as a card to put in the deck as their card. It's really simple. Just select a card, have them sign it. Place it face up on top of the deck and do a double lift. Then I place the card in the middle of the deck and do another double lift. Turn that back over and draw honey dove. However after I do a color change that I may have came up with that let's me change it without sliding it all the way into the deck. I want to teach you this color change but I don't know how other than posting on here for you. So I will do that.

I really like the idea of finger palming something that you would draw on the back of the card and at some point during the routine flicking it off the card and into their hands

Your pass is really good man... I could see when you pulled it but I really couldn't see it happening it was sleighted so well an covered so well that even when I watched it over and over I couldn't see the pass happening (I knew when it happened though but damn it was hidden well)
I've always loved magic as a kid, especially card tricks. But because I kinda have small hands I've never tried in fear that I couldn't do the slights. But THIS video has inspired me to give card magic a serious try at age 32. Also, subscribing to the channel of course. Keep up the great work! About to binge your stuff now.

Nice double lift technique ! I prefer the "David Blaine technique" for the difficulty, but I have to say that your's is more natural.
