Javed Akthar was so close minded. Sadguru was not saying don't use your senses, he was saying that we must transcend the senses. Maybe this a bad example, but it's like saying use the ground of the runway to make your aircraft airborne. You can lift yourselves above the ground. He was not using there is no ground, or don't station your aircraft on the ground. He's just saying that you're an aircraft, don't limit yourself to the ground, you can lift off from the ground and reach higher altitudes, something like that maybe.

So, Javed saab also came to know about the glimpses of the I AM in the midst of all the silence - when thoughts siezed.. Now when Sadhguru says to have experienced the same thing and says the nitty gritties of how one can deliberately reach & sustain such states of bliss Javed saab seems to have problems.. I dont understand why... many other poets, like Kahlil Gibran, Rabindranath Tagore have poetically expressed their own experiences of that "something" beyond.. Those experiences made them what they are.. not the words which in themselves have no life of their own..

Javed saab, Indians know that earth is round long long back and that why its call BhooGOL (Gol = Sphere) also the universe is spherical and thats why we called it Khagol. How do you think Indian astrologers have been calculating the movements of the planets along with Sun and moon with such a precision without knowing that earth is spherical and its moving around Sun. How do you think they have been calculating the timings of solar and lunar eclipses with such a precision with out this simple knowledge?

Hindu calendar (Pānchānga) is created from that calculation. 'Siddhāntā Sirómāni' and 'Sūryā Śiddhāntā' are two main books on Hindu astronomy. According to this theory, the earth is motionless and it is not considered as a planet. Seven planets (Moon, Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn) revolve around the earth. There is clear mention of astrologers in ancient China who got beheaded when their prediction for solar eclipse went wrong. Also predicting eclipses does not really require earth to be spherical

Pythagoras and his ilk promulgated this in 5th century BC. then by Plato Plato (427-347 BC) and Aristotle (384-322 BC) . So with the coming of Alexander these knowledge made way into Indian astronomy. Where Aryabhatta (476-550 AD), rightly, used his own methods to publicize the round earth theory, coining the term "Bhoo-Gol",but after, almost, 800 years after Plato. So, it is not good to lie in a world where religions are nothing more than idiots legacy for ignorance and stupidity.

It was one of his videos about Enlightenment where he said, being apart of our mind and body is a way to fully grasp the whole existence of the universe. But, it doesn't mean we'll ungrasp the kite from flying in the sky otherwise it will be lost forever. It is a matter of going back because our body and mind are attached to everything that is physical and cognitive, in order for us to survive. Pulling the kite's string will remain us existing - that's when we should use again our body and mind.

I clearly understood what Sadhguru is saying. believe me or no thats what I have realised with my limited analysis and experience of things. which is that We are very much used to in using our senses (which are way more than 5 in reality) outward. We haven't spend anytime trying to understand how our body works. whatever is happening in our body is clearly not done by us, it is just happening by itself ? No not really, it is the second level consciousness (I call it) with which we are not connected, when we connect our outer consciousness to our inner consciousness, we can experience how our body is working, we can access that inner consciousness or that software or whatever you want to call it. that is only possible through meditation.

Javed sahab is a lyricist,writer.These skills gives him very positive experience of life..His points of 'common sense' (modernity) are practiced by many today..But Sadguru's thoughts are perfect blend of modernity and spirituality.They have power to heal the minds of millions..Javed Sahab's words don't comfort my mind but I feel the peace when I listen to Sadguru..Just like Gulzar Sahab's poems!!
Javed when you pondering from where you got this new word etc, you felt inspired, you felt something supplied the word when you needed it. It was supplied by your subconscious. Your subconscious is a warehouse of all your memories, thoughts and stories, but it's not just that. It's what your spirit is made of , your subtle body is made of..and your spirit moved and pick the word for you from the storehouse and supplied it to you. You see, it has a function. That function is to make you who you truly are by making attributes available to you at the right time and place. Your mind cannot do that. Infact your mind's capability is so limited that it'll easily forget what you ate yesterday. Your spirit or subconscious remembers stuff for eons on end.

i can say that maximum no. of people over there had a wrong definition about spirituality or to be spiritual. The way Sadhguru defines to be spiritual is wonderful and extraordinary.spirituality doesn't mean seeking god.every body should know that.

Also ancient Indians did not know of any planets beyond Saturn(shani) , this info was with ancient Egyptians and othre cultures too. Also there is no mention of any prediction of any eclipse coming true ..in any of the Indian manuscripts, be it vedas or upanishads . Also Indian astronomy never predicted eclipses before Greeks came to India. In fact vedang jyotish has totally incorrect science Siddhānta: Indian astronomy, is calculating the position of the planets and other heavenly bodies. Hindu calendar (Pānchānga) is created from that calculation. 'Siddhāntā Sirómāni' and 'Sūryā Śiddhāntā' are two main books on Hindu astronomy. According to this theory, the earth is motionless and it is not considered as a planet. Seven planets (Moon, Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn) revolve around the earth.
There is clear mention of astrologers in ancient China who got beheaded when their prediction for solar eclipse went wrong. Also predicting eclipses does not really require earth to be spherical

Pythagoras and his ilk promulgated this in 5th century BC. then by Plato Plato (427-347 BC) and Aristotle (384-322 BC) . So with the coming of Alexander these knowledge made way into Indian astronomy. Where Aryabhatta (476-550 AD), rightly, used his own methods to publicize the round earth theory, coining the term "Bhoo-Gol",but after, almost, 800 years after Plato.

It was one of his videos about Enlightenment where he said, being apart of our mind and body is a way to fully grasp the whole existence of the universe. But, it doesn't mean we'll ungrasp the kite from flying in the sky otherwise it will be lost forever. It is a matter of going back because our body and mind are attached to everything that is physical and cognitive, in order for us to survive. Pulling the kite's string will remain us existing - that's when we should use again our body and mind.

We are very much used to in using our senses (which are way more than 5 in reality) outward. We haven't spend anytime trying to understand how our body works. whatever is happening in our body is clearly not done by us, it is just happening by itself ? No not really, it is the second level consciousness (I call it) with which we are not connected, when we connect our outer consciousness to our inner consciousness, we can experience how our body is working, we can access that inner consciousness or that software or whatever you want to call it. that is only possible through meditation.

Javed when you pondering from where you got this new word etc, you felt inspired, you felt something supplied the word when you needed it. It was supplied by your subconscious. Your subconscious is a warehouse of all your memories, thoughts and stories, but it's not just that. It's what your spirit is made of , your subtle body is made of..and your spirit moved and pick the word for you from the storehouse and supplied it to you. You see, it has a function. That function is to make you who you truly are by making attributes available to you at the right time and place. Your mind cannot do that. Infact your mind's capability is so limited that it'll easily forget what you ate yesterday. Your spirit or subconscious remembers stuff for eons on end.

That arises a simple question, "Why?" If the entirety of human life is based on our senses and their perception, why should one transcend it ? If your senses are the only understanding to the world, one should embrace it, instead of trying to transcend it which could not even be possible. Jiddu Krishnamurti similarly says that anyone who attained enlightenment or allegedly "Moksha" cannot expect other people's belief. If one really believes in a concept like that, instead of listening to people, one should reach that phase and talk for themselves. Gautam Buddha came out of a palace and went into wilderness to find the truth. But nowadays morden age gurus come out of wilderness and wind up into the palaces. They are moving into the opposite directions. We cannot talk of them in the same breath. Very correct analysis by Javed Akhtar sahab.
At the time of Buddha, people spoke the same way about him like you are doing right now and even pelted stones. Buddha left the palace looks inspiration to you. What about KRISHNA, PASHURAM, MAA PARVATI, King JANAKA, Bhismpitahma (Mahabharat), Punjab Many enlightened were warriors and kings...there are millions others across the world.
