This is a good collection of Bisayan phrases, one of the best I've found. Maraming salamat. I wish the video did not have the background hiphop music. I realize hiphop is popular in the Philippines but it makes me feel uneasy -- it's like torture LOL -- and it's distracting from hearing you speak. But I'll suffer through it anyway so I can learn a few more phrases. Again thank you.

My dad is only 5 minutes from Moalboal which is Dumanjug.
But no I am not there. I am living in Arizona.
But yes if you want a one-one I can teach people for a start of $30 for 30 minutes...

I need to learn some Cebuano...I was just there for 3 weeks and felt like that is what was missing from me really enjoying my visit...
Trust me, within a year you will be as fluent as the native Cebuano Speaker. That is what I have noticed to some foreigners who stay 6 months a yr they learn so fast. Enjoy your stay!

Why does Bisayan sound easier then tagalog xD I kinda need* to learn tagalog first but I think Bisayan seems more natural for me, I speak spanish, english and all other kinds of european languages
that's because it is!.
My first native language is Bisayan/Cebuano.
I have learned Tagalog and English in School>. Both are my less favorite subject. In fact, when English class comes, I sneaked off and instead run to the skating rink. Id rather skate and play over learning English. It was tough for me. Even Tagalog I do not like it.
The Cebuano we never learned it from school.
So I am teaching the way i was using the language, the way I understand the language.

Believe it or not, we do not have translation giude welcome as In WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY.
WE could always say 'Welcome sa among pamilya'.

You do not need to really worry about speaking out language there. Everybody speaks English and if you really want to learn Cebuano hang out with the people you trust there.

I took my Amerikano husband to South province of Dumanjug. Only 10 minutes away from Beautiful fall in Moalboal.
Don't forget to visit Temple of Leah and taoist temple.
