Hi Aurora, I'm happy to find you sharing such important information. I hope you have time to answer my question. I need help understanding something. I'm in Canada, BC, with dual citizenship in Belgium and the Philippines (Mom is Filipina, Dad is Belgian, I'm born in the Philippines). My Belgian passport is valid but my Philippine passport is expired since 2013. I need to renew it for sponsorship application purposes. In the Form No. 2 of Philippine Passport Renewal, it says on page 3: "1. Original and photocopy of one (1), valid, government-issued ID." but I only have valid Belgian identification since my Philippine Passport is expired and I have no other Philippine identification. However I do have my birth certificate from PSA and NSO. So, can I use my Belgian passport as my valid ID since I'm dual? Thank you for your time! Have a blessed day!
